AHOY!

So, I've gotten back into cartography. I couldn't say why I love it, perhaps it's just the world-building part of me. Anyway, I figured I'd share what I've created. The samples all come from the same base map, just done in different styles for the purpose of requests. I do have some others you can peek at in my Cartography Gallery.

REQUESTS

Firstly, before requesting, please understand that I am not a professional cartographer and I am constantly experimenting in map styles. So, your map has a high chance of not appearing like my others.

Also, before sending in any requests, you will need to be able to provide a reference... unless you want me to just create a random map for you.

RULES

1. If you have a specific map you want me to make, you will have to give me some sort of drawn reference. I will not play a guessing game of where you want specific geographical elements. So, if you want anything labeled, you will have to include it all in your reference. Keep in mind, some styles do not show these labels well (the color style).
   
   
2. You must be willing to accept some creative liberty.
   
   
3. Patience. I will not do requests with a set deadline. I could end up very busy, have issues with the map, lose my tablet pen, etc.
   
   
4. The largest size I will do for any map is 1920x1200.
   
   
5. I will not recreate existing maps; for example the map from Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings.
   
   
6. Credit should not be removed from any requested maps. They will be more minimal than on maps the ones I've currently made available.
   
   
7. I have the right to decline or cancel a request.

If you wish to use a non-requested map, please just ask me first. Some maps I make may be for a personal roleplay or was created as a gift for someone.

A top-down view of a section of a Halo ring.

I'm gonna turn this one down for a few reasons. That isn't the best reference so I'd be making up sections since I can't see things very well. I know there is a Risk board game that already has a flat, top-down view of the Halo Ring map.

I'd prefer to make custom maps rather than just recreate existing maps. X3

Not exactly, I can't replicate the exact style. I can make vintage/oldish styles, but I am currently holding off on those since I'm not quite happy when the ones I've made. I have an oldish map in my gallery I linked in the first post.

Hey! Since I'm high maintenance as fuck, would I be able to request 2 maps? I was thinking one that's full size (multiple landmasses plus oceans and shit) and one that's just a close up of one specific land mass. The reason I'd ask for both is the large one I'd like in color style and the up close I'd like in b&w with added labels and such. I would definitely be able to sketch a reference for you if you're up for the job.

Ok obviously I'm no map maker so just ignore how pathetic these are haha.

Nothing needs to be placed in the exact same spot or have the same shape. I'm looking for the red to be very high elevation and the green to be low elevation, everything else is up to your discretion. The blue is water, you can add to or take away whatever.

I don't have a specific size request, it's really up to you.

I'm changing my mind about the style specification. They can both be in color so that means you only have to make one map. Hurrah! And no I didn't have anything in mind besides the long one at the top being mostly mountainous. It'd be cool if you could randomize the other landmasses but I know I'm asking a shit ton so I'd be fine with whatever.

I want a large center continent with multiple small scatter islands around it, but farther they go, the less they are "abundant". Kinda it actually...

Could you make me a sci-fi type map? Holographic colours? I want it to be of a giant city-type ship; kinda like the one in Wall-E or The Nowhere from GoTG--giant floating city structure in space. Could you make a holographic-type map of its interior? I have vague reference pictures and a few prominent features.

I think I get what you are asking. First, holographic maps are generally 3D, I don't do 3D maps. Also, you've sorta twice asked me for requests that don't follow what my current request allow for. :\ I will only create maps based on the samples I've provided at this time.

I meant holographic as in the colour scheme; blues, kinda like a blueprint. I've got a reference image but not for the map itself, rather of the exterior of the ship. Otherwise, I've a few prominent features and the rest is up to you as long as it makes sense.
