WELCOME!
To Westhoven Psychiatric Adolescent Hospital
We want to make your stay here, and recovery as nice and easy as possible,but firstwe must run through some of the rules
RULES
1. At no point may you deny taking medication, if required to do so
2. Sharp objects in the hospital are strictly prohibited. If you are found with a sharp object,it will be confiscated
3. You must be approved by a psychiatrist if you want to wear clothes with string (shoelaces, sweatpants)
4. Escaping the hospital may result in being sectioned under the Mental Health ACT.
5. Eating at certain times is optional, however if you are being treated for an eating disorder, you will be requested to eat. If you are not sectioned, you can refuse this as your right.
6. There is to be no sexual or romantic contact with other patients.
7. Wash day is every Thursday, please ensure you're prepared.
8. Group therapy is mandatory.
9. Mobile phones are allowed, unless you are sectioned.
10. Bathrooms are locked 30 minutes after mealtimes.

Typical room, patients are encouraged to decorate it how they like.
