  Luna has always been someone who knows what she wants when it comes to the academic aspect of her life. As an overachiever she always works as much as possible to get the best scores possible, it's a drive for her to be at the top at what she does. It also helps her avoid thinking about her own emotions and stop the insecurities from seeping inside her busy mind. She's passionate, hard-working, observant , curious and very, very, competitive.
  
  She doesn't avoid social interaction with people and doesn't mind strangers, but it is unlikely for her to initiate it unless she knows it's going to be of use. She is really methodical, and trusts her guts and logic when making a decision, if she could, she would have every second of her life planned out, to keep track of, and always be on top of things.   Clarisse Garnier gave birth to Luna on a rainy night on the 9th of August. Her father, Haitao Zhang, was a successful lawyer, who was currently in Beijing attending some business. This was later reflected in the absence of her father in her life. Clarisse always made sure that Luna had something to show her dad, any sort of achievement that would make him proud. She also had an older brother, Thomas, who had always been the family outcast. he was always working on music, let that be some tune or a full song. Luna soon became fond of his activity, and from him, she got an immediate love for songwriting, something she soon learned was best if she kept it secret.
  
  At the age of 18, Luna and her brother were involved in a bus crash, that lead to Thomas' death.
  
  It took a year of continuous therapy for the female to finally start improving, the physical wounds were mostly healed, but her mental state was fragile and her body severely trembled at the thought of her brother. Her mother visited at the very beginning, and slowly, those visits were less frequent, until they were practically gone.
  
  she found safety in writing songs to keep her brother's flame alive, even if they were just for her to read. she wrote and wrote filling up a whole notebook every three months. After her parent's ghosting, she decided to take a stand for herself. Starting off, she dyed some strands blonde, knowing her parents hated hair modifications, and additionally, she got a minimalistic tattoo on her ribcage in memory of her brother, a red human heart with blossoming flowers just below the scar she had from the crash.
  
  It has been a while since she was emancipated from her parents, but it wasn't a struggle for her to enter with a full scholarship to the prestigious university.
  She spends most of her time in the library, studying or learning new things to feed her own curiosity. She knows that Thomas' would've liked to see her enjoy the uni life, but for now, her main goal is to graduate with aced scores, to prove to herself that she is capable of being just as or even greater without her parents' help. Lu has still made a couple of friends, some were lost along the way but she has formed a really close bond with two girls who remind her from time to time to not burn herself out. But her secret? She keeps writing lyrics as an underrated anonymous writer online with her own blog and all.   Each day is like a blank slate for Colin, who always seems to be doing something new. Whether it’s starting an intramural basketball team or joining his city’s local crocheting club, the young man’s list of hobbies and interests is always growing, but just as quickly as he picks them up he’d start something else. The one constant in his life, however, is music. When he isn’t getting knee-deep into his latest fixation, he’d be playing the guitar, messing with his keyboard, or singing along to his favourite artists.
  
  This carefree attitude carries over to his personality as well. Colin prefers to go with the flow, opting to take risks over playing it safe. It’s gotten him into trouble a couple times, but each time he simply brushed it off and continued on like he always has. While his easygoing nature made him many friends after entering university, it’s become a liability in this stage of life where he has to start thinking about the future.   With four brothers and three sisters, Colin is the eldest child in a large family of 10. Growing up, everything he owned also belonged to his younger siblings. His childhood memories consisted of changing diapers, babysitting after school when both of his parents were still at work, and helping out with homework. While he loved his siblings to death, he grieved over the time he could have spent with his friends and pursuing what he really wanted to do—music. When he turned 15, his parents saved enough money to buy him the guitar he’d been asking for since he was 12. It was worn and second-hand, but Colin took to it like a duck to water. Whatever time he could fit in-between classes and taking care of his siblings, he spent making music. He never received formal training so he couldn’t read charts, but he taught himself guitar and piano and developed a keen sense of pitch. His childish dream of one day making it as a professional musician faded as his parents urged him to take his studies seriously.
  
  The pressure to support his family made him work hard to get accepted into one of the country’s top universities, which is where he felt his life truly began. He was free in a way he’d never experienced before living on his own, and he stretched that freedom to its limits. Skipping class and going to parties in his freshman year, he nearly failed half of his exams and had to scramble to get his act together so he could stay at the university, finally finding his groove in his second year. Now, he manages to get fairly high marks even with the bare minimum studying, as long as he goes to his classes.
  
  Music is still a big part of his life, but he struggles between choosing what he wants and what’s best for his future, which is really what’s best for his family.
