Crystal- The World Beyond

Where's your will to be weird?

  • THE BEGINNING

Everything had been at peace. People lived happily among themselves, celebrating with festivities and laughter. Gold was not a rarity. Food was poured across tables. Everyone was well fed and happy with the lives they lived. And, of course, there was magic. There were witches, wizards, warlocks, sorcerers, and sorceresses. There were fairies, pixies, werewolves, vampires, and mermaids. There were dragons, ogres, giants, trolls, and goblins. And all of these creatures lived in peace beside humans. There was no war. That is, not until greed and lust for power consumed a select few, then expanded, forming a new part of society, a new group known as Apex.

Because of this group, everything slowly began to change. Poverty rose from wealth, pulling down those who lived richer lives. Starvation and hunger became well known, and people lived on the streets, fighting to survive. All the while, the members of Apex strived in their search for power. Their wealth was the wealth of kings, their food large and of the finest variety. This were all things they stole from the people below them, the forming underclass. And these people hated them for it.

Over time, sides began to form. Some sided with Apex, other sided against it, becoming known as rebels. They embraced the title with pride, protesting against the rising Apex. Yet their power continued to grow. Soon, they had the ogres on their side, as well as the trolls and goblins. Three species fully devoted to Apex and their greedy desire. But the people continued to fight back, continued their movements against them. At first, everything went well. Apex seemed to of backed off, seemed to of let the people live their lives.

Celebrations occurred. People cheered, drank whine, ate whatever food they could find. They thought they had won, that war would continue to never happen in their utopian society. Yet they were wrong. It was the night of one of these celebrations that Apex attacked, that they made their move against society. No one had expected the attack, and the deaths and injuries were fatal. Thousands upon thousands were killed, murdered by the hands of Apex's members. After the night was done, bodies lay sprawled out across the land, lifeless eyes wide with surprise.

This night became known as the Night of Red. And this night began the war.

    THE WAR

The war proved to be deadly and frightening. People fought against one another, using magic and weapons alike. The battles were bloody, resulting in many losses. Grave yards expanded to great lengths, burying the dead, tombstones horribly carved. No more flowers or rosaries lay on the graves. All was solemn and silent, eerie and dangerous. Stories of ghosts and other creatures rose, being told at night around campfires. Fear filled people, and the war raged on.

Then, due to the severity of the war, the gods and goddesses of the world got involved. This war was much too violent, much to deadly, and must be put to an end. In order to do so, they sent the goddess Ceridwen down to Earth, giving her orders to select five people, five people she believed to be worthy, to be blessed with the gift to control one of the elements. Ceridwen did her duty, and chose her five. There was nothing seemingly special about those she chose. They were the average, everyday people, living regular lives, whether it was fighting to survive, or living in peace. But they were chosen.

There was Diana, a woman of grace and elegance, passion and dignity. She was given the gift of water. There was Norman the Fifth, a fierce, mighty man who laughed more then he hated. He was given the gift of earth. There was Hadley, a young girl who lived on the streets, with a heart both kind and powerful. She was given the gift of air. There was Finbar, a cocky, teenage boy who seemed to understand nothing, but understood everything. He was given the gift of fire. And, finally, there was Xavier, the eldest of the five, and the most serious. He was given the gift of light.

Why Ceridwen chose these specific people, no one knows. Some suspect it may of been passion. Others say it was traumatic events from their past. But it's a mystery unsolved, one people struggle to piece together day by day. All that matters, however, is that the five formed, and the five were powerful. They were the world's last, dying hope of peace.

    FORMATION OF THE WARRIORS

Under to direction of Ceridwen, the five came together, becoming known as The Warriors. Hope once more began to fill the lands, and people found themselves smiling and laughing more and more each day. The Warriors worked together to end the war, fighting against Apex and pushing them back. Diana would heal the wounded with her water, Norman would block their paths with rocks, Hadley would suspend them in the air, Finbar would shoot out bursts of flame, and Xavier would give the final blow with a strike of light.

They grew stronger, and more people began to support them. Pixies and fairies would pull pranks on Apex members to help keep them back. Shapeshifters would attack while in animal forms. The war continued, and Apex was falling. With The Warriors, the supreme five, everyone believed this war would be one, and peace would begin once again. Their defense had become strong, their offense even stronger. Apex was losing more battles, and they were winning. Victory was at the tip of their fingers.

As fast as they had gained the upper hand, it was taken, swiped away from so abruptly, no one even seemed to notice. Yet Xavier did, despite the constant protest of the other warriors. He felt the change in the air, the stronger power arise. Something darker was coming, something none of them had seen before. He could feel it. But, despite his constant warnings, no one listened, brushing him aside as a crazy old man. Even the warriors, those he had fought side by side with for the years of victory, seemed to brush him off. So, instead of trying to explain what he believed was happening, he went and found out himself.

    A NEW POWER

Xavier vanished, seemingly from the face of the earth. Most thought he probably wandered off in the night and got himself killed, mourning his lost, but also still celebrating the oncoming victory. They did not realize the journey he had set out upon, the journey to find the truth. A truth no one wished to hear, no one dared to believe, hiding behind their false image of victory. A truth so harsh the wise Xavier himself seemed unable to face it.

A greater darkness had risen, a power stronger then those of the warriors combined. A new magic much darker then the one that already existed. The power of darkness, which came in many different forms. With it came skills that had never existed before. Necromancy. Possession. The summoning of demons or other creatures, both good and evil, Light and Dark. These new findings frightened the old Xavier, and he turned to flee, to warn the others of what he seen. Yet, on his way out of enemy territory, he was ambushed. He never returned home, and none know what happened to him.

    THE GREAT FALL

The warning never reached the other warriors. They still believed victory was on their side, and celebrated by drinking and feasting on bread. People broke out into song and dance around campfires, laughing hysterically and beautifully. Yet victory was very far from their reach, for Apex had the upper hand now, an advantage no one knew they had. The element of surprise was on their side, as was their new forms of dark magic.

Out of no where, the festivities came to an abrupt end, the laughter replaced by screams. A battle broke out, one so fast, so swift, none could see what was happening. The Warriors, once mighty and strong, were attacked first. The now four warriors were quick to defend themselves and their people. But what they were up against was much stronger then they expected. It was demons that came out of the shadows, not the Apex members they had become so used to. Their armor was impenetrable, their own magic much stronger then a flimsy humans. Almost immediately, the four were out numbered and taken over.

As Diana swung around her water, a beast appeared from behind her and thrust a blade through her chest, killing her instantly. While Norman built walls of rock, demons broke through, swarming him and gnawing at his flesh like bread. Finbar was scorched by his own fire, burnt into a pile of ash. And young Hadley, only twelve years old at the time, simply vanished. To where, no one knows. Most suspect she was kidnapped by the demons, taken to Apex to be executed. No one believes she survived.

That night proved that victory had not yet been won. Apex continued to rise, gaining power and land every day, laughing at their impoverished opponents. They had this war in the palm of their hand. The Warriors were dead, as was hope. Soon, the world would be theirs. It has been thirty years since the death of the warriors, and most have lost hope. They simply gave up, living on the streets, starving and in poverty. What had once been peace was now gone.

Hey so I was wondering if I could use a race from another RP I know, They're called Ravens, basically they can transform from humans to Ravens for certain times and usually bond with a specific person, (If I can't use it I have other ideas) I am gonna apply to that RP too but I really like the Race selection they have (It's called The Island on another Forums)

(Side Note: Are you Charmander on the TO forums?)

(P.S: Amazing Lore)

Well I am new to the forum and I am doing my app, I was wondering how you did that format up there with the little tabs that slide to the right, y'know, the light blue things, newbie question sorry xD

its all good ^.^ and what you do is [ tabs ][ tab = Example ] blah blah blah [ / tab ] [ tab = Example ] Blah Blah Blah [ / tab ] [ / tabs ]

Except no spaces

Oh my you have put in quite a bit of work on this. I like it, a lot. I will work on a character sheet as soon as I get a chance. You should definitely put this in the recruitment threads. :D

Amazing plot and lore. Well written. Just wonderful. I am very intrigued with this. Is this open for recruitment?

Personality:

Ducanian is a rather quiet person. Members of Apex always thought him as a ticking time bomb, waiting to snap. But really he was the opposite. Kind, sweet and Caring. Ducanian was a real strategist. Apex used him a lot for their attack plans, and most of the downfalls of the people, were hes doings. Filled with his strong sense of justice, he has fled Apex, and finds his way hiding in the night. Ducaninan is often a soft spoken person, often caring for other's well being.

Weaknesses: Major Weaknesses

  • Dark Art's and Magic are not indicative of his species, therefore whenever it is used often backlashes. Because of this he often does not use these abilities.

  • Hecatolite can block the effects of the moon and disrupt the natural cycle of transformation.

  • Bites, scratches and other wounds inflicted by an Alpha will not heal as quickly as other injuries.

  • The steady application of low amperage electricity will keep werewolves weak and in human form.

History: Ducanian was raised in the Dark Woods, with his two brothers. Despite the 'enrichment' that seemed to flourish over the valley, his family seemed exempt. Most of the world considered werewolf's to be bad omens, and they often found themselves isolated from high society. Though it seemed to upset his brother's Ducanian didn't mind much, not until the people decided that an omen was not fit for life.

At the age of seven, Ducanians entire family was murdered, the citizens of the world using their wealth to brutality murder his family. It was then, that day he decided that the world should not have such wealth and power, and that the world would not dictate his life. Over decades he shrived to create a new utopia, one were the omens were in power. His main goal, take the wealth from those who miss use it, and use its power to keep sanctions on those people. In turn, he would protect his species, and avenge his family. This was the thought, and with this , he helped create the group called the Apex.

Ducanian is one of the original members of Apex. When Apex had first started, it was with the original idea of overthrowing the men of power, but like most things, this plan changed. Taking the power and wealth of those below them only created poverty, causing the original plan to spiral out. Ducanian was not much for the new Apex which had been created, and though he despises what it has become, he still protects it.

It wasn't until the night of the Night of Red that he had finally realized it. The many deaths of innocent people torn at him, and its wasn't long after that he left. Ducanian, unlike most of the members of Apex is not quite as violent. He actually has a rather high sense of justice. After starting Apex, he left, and became a wanderer. Since the war has broken out, the member's of Apex have been seeking him out, trying desperately to find him and bring him back. But their efforts have so far been in vain. Where he currently is is unknown, and is believed to be dead at this point.

He currently travel's throughout the land with his 'companion' Vivi. Though the company is not exactly wanted, Ducanian still helps her out of trouble and will often seek her out if she goes missing. Ducanian is known to not carry any weapons, and although he would never admit it, its because Vivi is allergic to the iron in the metal's that he doesn't keep any weapons at his side.

Name: Vivi

Age: 19 (Appearance) 1000+ (Actual)

Gender: Unspecified (Implies Female)

Race: Faerie

Class: Wanderer/Clinger/Faerie Warrior

Side: Rebel/Neutral

Appearance:
faerie_by_gkrit-d5l5b5b.jpg

tumblr_mfrk8b9oNH1rxbl9vo1_500.jpg

Personality:

Vivi is a rather outspoken person. She is loud and obnoxious. She is often found talking none stop and saying things before thinking out them. Vivi is also known to be teasing, trying to provoke people of the opposite sex. Vivi has a rather interesting relationship to Ducanian and is often found clinging to him. Jealous and mistious Vivi will often play pranks on those she does not like.

Abilities/Strengths:

  • Has the ability to distort reality, in turn creating 'illusions' or alternative realities.
  • Manipulation over plants and tree's, mother-nature elements
  • Does not age; Immortal

((These are the abilities of the species; just for reference and do not count as abilities and strengths.))

  • Create cloaks which make people invisible
  • Manipulate Nature
  • Distort Reality
  • Amplify Abilities around the elements

Weaknesses: Major Weaknesses

  • Ducanian is a major weakness for her, she would surrender everything for him.
  • Over use of her/his power's resulting in being extremely tired and weak.
  • Talks to much.
  • Allergic to Mistletoe; Constant exposure will kill her/him; Same goes for Iron

History:

Vivi has been against Apex form the start, fighting besides her brothers and sisters for years. Vivi is one of the great warrior of the faeries, but more then that, she is the daughter of the Faerie leader "Zekel". Her passion for the rebels ran deep, that was until the night of the red. This battle was long, hard, and in the end, her side had all but lost.

Cornered by the Apex scum she fought hard, but their are some battles that cannot be won. She fought long and hard, killing and trapping all the Apex member's she could find. All except one. It was on this dreadful night she ran into Ducanian, his crimson eyes like a starving animal in the night. She, just like any other faerie would have done, attacked. She fought him with everything she had, trying her hardest to win.

But in the end, it was he, who was victorious. Hovering over her crippled body, death stared her in the face, and when she felt like all hope was lost, and her life was gone.. He stopped. She could never really understand why, why he had spared her. And in doing so, something her her changed. As Ducanian left, Vivi found herself following, pledging herself to him and only him.

It's been year's since that day, and for Ducanian, so much has changed. Mainly because the damn faerie never shut's up! But still, Ducanian remain's silent, traveling throughout the lands. Vivi has now found happiness in traveling with Ducanian, despite the repercussions of doing so. If her family ever found out, they would put her to death for her betrayal.

Darktanion Love your character. But multiple things.

1) What I meant by abilities is not what that certain race specialize in. What you put are common werewolf abilities, which is fine. But the three abilities I meant weren't in that category. For example, is your character good with swords, knives, making fires, etc? Putting a werewolves common abilities in the character sheet is fine, and I prefer if you kept though. Just label them as common werewolf abilities so other know, then add your characters true abilities.

2) Weaknesses other then a werewolf's common weaknesses. Your characters specific weaknesses.

3) History has to be AT LEAST three paragraphs. I hate bios too, but a rules a rule, no exceptions. Start in your characters childhood, if it helps any. How did they grow up? What led them to joining Apex? Who inspired them? Etc, etc.

4) I would reread the rules. You missed a small rule I threw in there for comedic sake.

Once you fix these minor problems, definitely accepted!

Erm, I have a question about a few things. One of my main characters I use doesn't really have a race, they just have Aquakinesis, where they can manipulate and generate water. But seeing as one of the gods basically had that, it wouldn't seem appropriate. Do you mind if I use that character or is it not okay? Also, I don't understand what to put in the "Class" section. Oh, also, is it okay if my character finds a dragon egg and hatches it him/herself, possibly raising it? Or would that not be possible?

Well

1) The elemental water hero was killed a long time ago a believe and im sure there have been other water users but thats up to char but I think you can

2) Class basically defines you characters battle style you can basically put anything, from a basic "Water Mage" to "Aquamancer or Aquos Elemental Warrior" stuff like that, if you catch my drift

3) Dragons are meant to be mobs (unplayable) but since your egg is raised since a small creature and its more of a pet you bring up a good point but its up to Char but im sure he'll allow it (maybe) he seems like a really nice guy/gal (not sure) (Dont wanna step on any toes)

ALSO IM GONNA APPLY TO YOUR RP :D Making an app for that too the one with the 2 universities (forgot the name)

Oh, really? Thanks! And alright understand Class now, I completely forgot what it meant because I haven't played an MMORPG in a looong time.

I would really love to join this RP with a particular race but I need some feedback before I put work into a full profile. :} The race is called the Asterion; Asterion are stars that fall from the sky during meteor showers at a certain time every couple of years or so, and crash into the earth in humanoid form.

Weaknesses:

-Vulnerable when they first fall to earth; many do not survive the fall or drown if they fall into water

-Unfamiliar with a humanoid figure; lack of awareness

-Extreme reduction in size and energy

-Extreme sensitivity to the senses, especially noise

-Unfamiliar with danger/lack of common sense

-Tendency toward depression and other emotional extremes

-No memory of past life as a star

Strengths:

-Can produce light and heat

-Have limited healing abilities

-Have an understanding of how energy works and how to manipulate it

-Considered lucky

Asterion would be fairly normally proportioned, with light, faintly glowing skin and hair. I understand they may seem like very Godlike, but of course more limitations may be added. I've used this race in a couple of other RPs and I enjoy writing them, so I thought I'd give this one a shot too.

roboblu I love the idea! Feel free to use the race!
Kotomi, hmm... I guess that is fine, but just to note, her control of water would not be as powerful as Diana's. Diana was blessed by a goddess, so hers would be stronger. Only after decades of study would one be able to master the element as well as she had. Just a little side note, and sorry for taking so long, just got out of work not to long ago

Alright, thanks! I'll make my entry now~

Name: Esther, or Essie for short

Age: Several billion years old, although she's only been on earth for about a week

Gender: Female

Race: Asterion

Class: Healer?

Side: Neutral for now

Appearance: Esther's most striking feature is her pale, silvery-golden skin, which glows faintly. Her hair is the same color, possesses the same luminescent properties, and falls to her mid-back in gentle waves. It frames a round face, two light grey eyes, and a strong nose and chin. Having been on the earth for such a short time, Esther has no scars or other bodily markings, although she can bleed and scar like other mortal beings. She stands about 5'6" and weighs very little, as if hollow.

Personality: After only one week in her new body, Esther is already making great leaps and bounds toward building her own personality. She is curious. She likes the darkness. However, at the root of her existence Esther is still blank: simple, a piece of clay begging for some sort of impression. She has no memory, no knowledge- it's almost as if her body isn't something she can call her own. Sensing this, the fallen star is easily frustrated or scared, especially when faced with new experiences. When put it in a corner she will panic and lash out with everything she's got, much like a wild animal.

Abilities: All Asterion have a few basic abilities: they can produce light and heat, have limited healing powers, and understand energy and how to use it.

-Light and heat production. All Asterion have this ability. They can generate light from the pores on their skin, and in some cases can even channel its intensity through various appendages. Heat synthesis works similarly, although Alterion are not immune to burning. For this reason they cannot emit high temperatures for very long.

-
Healing. All Asterion have this ability, though it is stronger in some than in others. Minor scrapes and bruises can be mended easily; larger injuries like broken bones take significantly more energy and time to heal, and often end up making the Asterion very sick. In some cases, starfolk can even mend emotions- but this special gift comes with very few Asterion.

-
Energy. Manipulation of energy is an Asterion's most useful defense skill. They understand how to gain energy from the air and plants around them and convert it to a useable form; from there, the Asterion can either use the energy offensively or use it for healing purposes. Few Asterion live long enough to fully realize the potential of energy manipulation, however.

Other than these, Esther has few notable skills.

Strengths: Esther is cautious, quiet, and understanding, three strengths that have helped her survive this far on her own. Her natural abilities also play into her strengths.

Weaknesses: Asterion have many weaknesses that come with the transfer into such feeble bodies. They are extremely sensitive to sensory input, especially loud noises; rough surfaces, bright or colorful images, and sharp tastes and smells can also cause discomfort, if not pain, to an Asterion individual. Most stars like Esther also move awkwardly in their new bodies, tripping often or hurting themselves through lack of awareness. They are also prone to depression and other emotional extremes. Esther herself has emotional trauma from an experience that happened when she first landed on earth, which leads to panic attacks. She has a crippling fear of water as well.

History:

Darkness. There was only darkness at first- no, for a very long time. Glimmers of light in the distance, but the blackness was far greater, far more comforting, like a blanket. It was silent. A bright heat expands out of her, thousands upon thousands of degrees, but she can only understand the great power she possesses. She does not know the nature of this power, nor does she desire to. It simply is, and she exists, and that's all there is to know.

Then, pulling. It is a small sensation at first, but grows greater with every second; she feels the need to move, and move quickly, and before long she is streaking across the emptiness. But it isn't emptiness any more. There are others and she can feel them. They move together, gaining momentum, toward some final destination, and they're speeding up, and some collide and explode, but she stays on her path. They're being called somewhere.

It comes closer, and as it does she can feel herself start to change. Her energy is squeezed so tightly, into such a small case. She has her first conscious thought: Surely this is my death. And in a way, it is. It is the death of one life and the start of another. They all lose consciousness together, and crash down, streaking through the sky--

There is a splash, and a flash of light behind her eyelids. A loud crash. She smells something hot, something burning in her throat, and her eyes open for the first time ... Only to see a face staring back at her. She knows what that face is- the word is already in her head. Cruel. Hands meet her slender neck, and suddenly her head is underwater. She cannot breathe, but now she is awake- awake, and something is horribly wrong. Where has her great power gone? Why does she get the feeling that she is dying, or perhaps dead already?

Strength fills her somehow, and she fights back. She is loose, now. Loose and on her feet, wobbly but running; she sees glowing figures on the ground- these are her brothers. And above each one, another, shadowy figure. There is glowing, heavenly blood on the ground. Again, one word comes to her mind: Apex. She doesn't know what this means, but she spits the word out and runs until she cannot hear screaming, until she falls down and sleep envelops her.
Esther came to earth in a bi-centennial meteor shower that has been bringing starfolk down from the sky for thousands of years. Only this time, Apex was waiting. Wanting to snuff out every bit of light from the earth as possible, the dark gang saw their chance with the Asterion and took it. The starfolk fell; Apex waited with open arms and sharpened knives. When the new beings lay glowing on the ground, still unconscious from their fall, Apex committed genocide. Very few Asterion survived that day, but Esther was one of them.

She wandered, confused, for a couple of hours after waking, until a kind traveler helped her to understand her situation a little bit better. Since then, she has been walking in no particular direction for several days, plagued by dreams of choking hands and glowing blood on the ground, though the memories are all hazy. Anything could have happened, really.

Name: Yukiko

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Race: Unusual human [she has some odd attributes to her that seem unhumane]

Class: Ice Mage

Side: With Apex

Appearance:

tumblr_mqu7uzUzv11rjf3pvo1_500.jpg

Personality: Yukiko is an odd, but sweet type of girl. She doesn't approach many people, or even answer them when they talk to her sometimes, as she gets distracted very easily. She is always doing something, when it could be carving wood, to staring off into the distance. Yukiko is quiet, and speak only when she needs to. Her hobbies include wood carving, playing with her ice/snow ability, singing, and drawing. But seeing as to there isn't usually much paper available, she sticks to wood carving.

Abilities: Yukiko can create a small amount of ice at any given moment. She finds creating ice cubes with her fingertips amusing. Her ice ability is limited though, as to the fact that she can freeze a person solid with the touch of her finger. But it would take a long time, and no person would let her freeze them solid before moving. When she touches someone, the skin around where she touches them slowly starts to freeze. Also, her main attacks usually involve magic, as her mother is a witch. She carries a wand around with her that looks like an icicle so when other people touch it, it would melt. An uncommon, but powerful attack she uses is when she creates a snow tornado around the target. The tornado being small, as she has limited use of ice/snow. This attack though, uses most of her energy. Another main attack she uses is a strike of ice that is literally a zig-zag lightning shaped icicle shooting through the target.

Strengths: Yukiko is good at anything related to art. She is fast, and can run with exceptional speed. She can also climb things very well when she needs to.

Weaknesses: Mother is her biggest weakness. When it comes to Mother, she would do anything for her, and kill any being to hurt her. She fears almost nothing, with the exception of abandonment. Seeing as she is mostly ice/snow, fire would be a main weakness. The only thing she could do if she were to encounter someone using fire, she'd have to use a strong ice attack, taking out most/all of her energy.

History: When Yukiko was a small child, she was left alone in the snow-filled, cold, woods. An old witch found her soon after, raising her as her own. She called her Yukiko, meaning "snow child". She taught her everything she knows, she showed her magic, and how to fight. She even blessed her with the power of ice/snow.

Yukiko never encountered a person other than Mother, until the war started and they were forced to leave. They were found and told that if they didn't side with Apex, they would be killed. So they had no other choice. It was safe there. That's what Mother told her anyway. Soon after they joined Apex, Yokiko was forced to kill many innocent beings. She was fearless nonetheless, and felt nothing when she took their innocent lives.

One day when she broke into someone's house, she found a dragon egg. She took it, of course, and tried so hard for months to hatch it. But all Yokiko was, was ice. The egg needed some sort of heat. The problem was soon fixed when her mother found it. She hatched it right away, and Yokiko has been raising it ever since. It is still very small. ============================================================

Name: Mother [she doesn't really have a name. Other people she would tell to address her by "Ma'am"]

Age: 68

Personality: Mother is serious, and almost creepy. She is almost the "over-protective" type over Yukiko. She doesn't let her talk to certain people, and if Yukiko does come in contact with anyone, she is to tell Mother the same day. Her whole life is dedicated to Yukiko, everything she does is for her. She is always either cooking, cleaning, practicing spells, shopping [if there is a shopping system], or watching Yukiko.

Abilities: Mother can do most kinds of spells. She practices the important ones first. She usually uses sleep spells that make the target immediately fall asleep. Yet, sometimes it doesn't work on strong components. If that's the case, she uses a spell called "Bury Under" where she points her wand underneath of the target, saying the spell inside her head, which is then followed by the ground underneath of them quickly moving above them, making the target fall into a deep hole, the ground/dirt above them now falls on top of the hole, burying the target alive. These would not be her only attacks, just most common.

Weaknesses: Yukiko is her main weakness. If anything were to happen to her she would avenge her death, possibly killing herself as well. If anyone were to harm her, Mother would kill them, no matter who it was. She also has a fear. She fears dragons, as she sees them as demons. She thinks they are bad spirits that do no good to anyone.

History: When Mother was a young girl, she was raised by her grandmother, a former witch. Her grandmother taught her everything she knows, from magic, to life. She told her many stories that she still believes to this day. When her grandmother passed, she had to go on by herself. She was 17 when she passed. She gave her a proper burial, in the woods around the house. She kept the house, and took care of herself.

Mother was 52 when she found Yukiko in the middle of the woods. She immediately took her as her own, raising her as she was raised. She'd always wanted to be a mother, as her grandmother would tell her many stories about mothers, and she saw them as heroic. Something she always wondered about though, was where her mother was. She would ask her grandmother time to time when she was a child, but her grandmother never seemed to answer. When she found Yukiko, she saw it as her chance to prove how heroic she was. She aimed to be the best mother there was.

Years later, when Yukiko came to her with a dragon egg she was astonished. She didn't want to hatch the demon, but Yukiko seemed so determined, and she was never usually like that. Yet, Mother plans on telling Yukiko how bad dragons are, and hopefully she will accept it, and Mother will kill the dragon when the time comes. She always watches the dragon, to make sure it doesn't try to possess Yukiko, or harm her. If it were to make one accidental move, she would kill it in an instant.

roboblu Love the character! Accepted!

Kotomi A few things.

1) Histories have to be at least three paragraphs long. I know I'm being pretty picky about this, but there is a reason for it. Try to go into more detail. Places they've been, people they've seen, etc.

2) Her aquamancer abilities are too powerful. As I said earlier, Diana was the original one able to control water, but she was also blessed by a goddess. Maybe limit her to being able to control a limited amount of water at a time.

3) Note a vampires natural weaknesses and strengths. This is the classic vampire, they need blood to survive, garlic weakens them, etc. If you have any questions about this, feel free to PM me and I'll give you a list of weaknesses and strengths.

  • Name: Renimari (Otherwise called Remi)

    Age: 19

    Gender: Female

    Race: Merculia

    Class: Wanderer

    Side: Neutral

    (Race Breakdown)

    Merculia:

Merculia are a rather peculiar race. Though they are directly linked to the mating of sorcerers and mermaids, they seem to hold distinct qualities that neither present. For every member of this race, the pupil is not present in their eyes. They have difficulty seeing in the dark, so much that even shadows appear as a black hole in their vision.

All members of the Merculia race are female, as well their future offspring. Though their weight never seems to exceed 90 lbs. They are a rather frail race, but hold a good deal of magical energy.
