New York City, 1950
In the heart of New York City, amidst the glimmering opulence of post-war high society, two powerful families—the Carlisles and the Sterlings—stand at the pinnacle of wealth and influence. For decades, these dynasties have meticulously built vast fortunes, constructed sprawling business empires, and shaped the very fabric of the city’s politics and elite circles. Yet, despite their immense riches and unchallenged power, the Carlisles and Sterlings are locked in a bitter, unrelenting rivalry—fighting not only for supremacy over one another, but for control within their own bloodlines. As ambition turns to betrayal and the quest for legacy reaches dangerous heights, one question looms: Who will emerge on top, and who will be buried six feet under?

This is a semi-advanced to advanced roleplay. This means that we write 3+ paragraphs and are detailed because let's be honest, the more descriptive the more fun this all is! Also, our main OC chat will be on discord so if you do not have one please get one!
rule two.
To "audition" for the role you will create a character sheet for the character that you want, as well as provide me with a sample in private message on RPN. You may audition for 2 characters at the same time but no more than that! If you fail to give me a sample and give me a character sheet, or give me a sample without a character sheet -- you will be automatically disqualified from the role you want. No exceptions.
rule three.
BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER! I will not allow any bullying in this group. We are an LGBTQIA+ Friendly group. We are a place of love and acceptance and you have a safe space here. If you feel uncomfortable with any players you can reach out to me at any point and we can talk. I have a '3 strikes your out rule.' 2 warnings and then you are gone.
rule four.
I would like posting to be semi-consistent. I know people have personal lives! But I would ideally like people to be able to get a post out at least every few days. If you feel like you can post at least twice a week (and I'm not gonna go crazy if you can't) then we are chill! I would like to take this slow so...if you are fine with a slow pacing rp with lots of interaction between characters then this is the place for you.
