The time and space warp stuff is worrying. We will see, she isn't a god. (I think, i don't know the character) but this is a stratigic game. Even the weakest could win if their smart about it

Considering the host themselves have the ability to link different timelines dimensions... Space manipulationa dn time manipulation to a degree is fine. Most of what i see with Sakuya does.not make me feel like she is going to fit right. I see no weakness in the power.

Im thinking time manipulation in terms of slowing it down to allow her more time to react is okay, but its a bit frustrating to play against someone who controls almost every aspect of what we know. Im willing to accept sakuya, as long as we can fix some glaring problems, which is just simply how overpowered those manipulation abilities are.

That sounds fair. If people don't think they have a chance they likly won't answer. It takes the fun out. Honestly, I was worried. But my character literally doesn't back from a fight.... unless ordered of course

Nah, she’s effectively a god. Touhou has a lot of characters with stupidly OP abilities that would result in an auto-win in most cases, hence the need for nerfs a lot of the time. Just to put things in perspective, the mistress she serves has the ability to manipulate fate, which by itself is broken.

That being said, I get a little bored of seeing all these contests limited just to the street-level things, y’know? Seeing more high-concept stuff would be a breath of fresh air in my eyes. I get why there isn’t (people would just be arguing over who has the better abilities, but this can be done in the style of a formal evidence-based debate, although it’s difficult), but those are just my thoughts on it.

Im going to discuss some idea on limiting her overall godlike potential to something more managable. The host has these same abilities, its reasonable he can limit her himself

Anyways, im.honestly excited to be managing my first ever larger group thread in quite a while. Its why the whole idea doesnt have a very... Huge overarching narrative. Then again, im planning ahead of time to make things a bit better.

And... By the by... When i refer to "The host" i mean the one chaeacyer not participating in the arena. Ie... The one who's beining everyone together.

I hear you... Personally im allowing it just to see how someone portrays his After the ending personality... Since i dont read manga all i know is from the anime...
It would also be fun to see how a demon battles an ordinary human like peri. Then again, technically speaking noone out of fire emblem is an ordinary human...

LOL if you watched the anime you would know how he fights an 'ordinary human.'

I mean, they usually panic and then they die. Putting him up against some stronger opponets will be a nice change. And explore his full powers more. Main reason I took his fire controling ability away is because I am unsure if it can only be used to benifit the contract. Which, risking his own death is the very opposite.


I am excited to get to portray him as such, as it is new for me too. Most people don't like the ending to the second. (I ship them though so its ok with me!) But the whole unable to eat thing would be miserable... He is a living creature too ;_;
