So how strict is the regulation for Tinkers? Are they allowed to sell their items freely, do they have to obtain a license of some sort, or is it banned all together?

Was thinking about making a merchant Tinker.

Making weapons and selling them is obviously illegal, other than that, it's all good, but Tinker technology is very easy to track for the simple reason that most of the time it can't be reverse engineered. The power of a Tinker's shard makes their technology, quite literally, impossible to be made through normal science in certain cases.

A Tinker whose area of focus is in radiation could do the impossible and turn a microwave into a radiation gun that can cause third and fourth-degree burns, which should be impossible with the materials that a microwave would provide. When Tinkers begin their tinkering, the shard kind of "takes over" their higher brain functions and applies its power to the object.

Are we allowed to combine power classifications like in Worm? E.g. Thinker 2, Mover 3 as the classification? Birdsie Birdsie
Yup.

Same, another question.

How does being a Protectorate work? Are they working 24/7 with PRT, go to work from home at 9-5, or are they only called during emergency?

Another question - what's the limit on the number of characters?
Only as many as you can handle, so no limit at all.

A member of the Protectorate's work depends on an amount of factors.

Some heroes might stay at home, while others live in rooms in the PHQ. Some go on patrol during certain hours whilst some are only called in during an emergency.

Question: my character is going to have the ability to create psychic blades shaped like cards and psychic shields. What classification kight that be under?

Depends what he can do with them. The psychic shield thing maybe qualifies for Striker?

Creating clones would be classified as Stranger right? Also, would making things explode be a Blaster?
Do the clones obey the creator's commands? If so, then a Master rating is more likely. Making things explode from far away would be Blaster, but if it can cover a wide area, then Shaker.

Doctor Menlo is the kind of guy to accept an invitation to Jackass.

"Hi, my name is Doctor Menlo and this is Jackass."

That slash means I'm only supposed to choose one or the other, right? I know it's a stupid question but I want to be absolutely sure.
That means the powers can be applied both ways. That slash means you put in both. If you were to choose, I'd say "or."

Woop woop she's accepted!

If anyone needs a gadget related to Force and is affiliated with PRT, call me~
