Fantasy Crimson Yin: Forbidden Love

"Well my name is Mena. " I smiled up at him. 'He seems a bit mysterious, are all boys like this?' I thought, finding myself staring back at him. I blinked then noticed that I was staring at him. "Sorry, I didn't realize I was staring at you." I apologized.

"Mena. And how did you come to have a wolf as a pet?" Storm asked.

 

[Mena]

"Oh well, when I was young my mom's wolf had pups and I picked the last one in the litter. My mom comes from a long line of wolf tamers, so I have 1/4 tamer blood in me." I informed him, sounding oh so smart. I let Sasha go and she began to dart all around us, waiting for me to get up.

"Isn't that dangerous?" Storm questioned, not understanding why humans would want tame predators.

 

[Defective Kitten]

Jewel saw the wink and also the fatal mistake by called them "humans" but she just brushed it off knowing that Princess Mena wanted to befriends dragons. Examining the scribbles and markings she slowly came up with a sentence from the broken ones due to the fading of weather exposure and over time. Tapping her chin, she glanced over at Aero from the corner of her eyes as he stared intently at the wall.


"Well.. When the dragons enter the city of water the men will fall. Founded in the early days of Xuvall by a colony of humans who come from a placed called Earth. Founder is Merrick, Ruler of the Sea. The City of Water called, Atlantis, founded in 1380 A.D. summer of, a wealthy and populated merchant city. When the dragons came to the city, they were feared by many but also worshiped by some. Not soon after the dragons came, so did the floods which hit the city, than came the drought that killed nearly half the population. The humans believed that the dragons were at fault, that they brought the terrible curse. Humans killed the dragons and not too soon after, all the humans vanished..." She spoke fluently as if it were easy to read and smiled at Aero with a warm expression.

"You're really good at this" He said smirking at her while he glanced to the other pair of people. "Do you need assistance getting somewhere or anything?" Aero asked kindly knowing he was going to probably end up in a situation of sorts. His eyes still glancing over to Storm and his 'friend' making it seem casual in his mind.

 

[Juju]

After Arwynn had finished bandaging Shahe's wounds, as well as taking care of some of her own, she turned to the corpses of the wolves. "well, no point wasting good meat... they're a tad scrawny, but the hides and meat will sell for a good price with the coming winter." She walked over to one of the wolves and retrieved the arrow protruding out of the creature's neck, "Help me out would you, Shahe?".


With that, the cat perked up his ears and got to his paws before striding past Arwynn, picked up a nearby corpse and carried it over to her; repeating this for each wolf.


Once all of the wolves were piled up, Arwynn began to tie rope around Shahe's chest and shoulder into a makeshift harness, being very careful to not put rope on his bad shoulder. After testing the stability of the harness, she began to secure the bodies of the wolves onto his back with a new coil of rope. Once finished, Arwynn stepped back and smirked at her once dignified companion, now covered in a furry patchwork, giving him the appearance of a pack mule. The saber seemed to notice, and promptly flattened his ears with a growl, "don't worry buddy, I'll give you extra meat when we get home."


They both began to walk back along the edge of the forest towards the direction of the village, somewhere off in the distance. They only got a couple of kilometers when suddenly Shahe stopped in his tracks, his great head lifted up as he smelled the breeze, green eyes turned towards the forest. Without warning, the cat leap into the wood, crashing through the undergrowth with ease.


"Shahe! Get back here!, Arwynn called after him as she began sprinting after him along the path of flattened vegetation created by his enormous paws.

Shaking her head. "No, we're just exploring at the moment. Why are you two here as well?" Jewel asked politely with a tilt of the head, it was awfully strange for dragons to be this close to human territory, ".. and how come you're trying to read this wall?" She questioned again, they were some strange dragons to be doing random stuff like this, but she didn't judge.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

"We just found this place and decided to check it out" Aero said as he looked at her. He lipped something that she couldn't see and smirked before he glanced at the burned bush and his footprints from his true form.

Storm glanced over at his friend and saw where he was looking before making a tsk noise. "Your pup seem friendly enough," he said turning back to Mena.

 

[Defective Kitten]

Turning toward what Aeros began staring at, she noticed the burnt bush and large footprint. Jewel had guessed that those marks were from him but decided to play along by not knowing. Squatting down to be bush level, she propped her elbows on her knees while her chin rested in her palms. "Huh... That's strange. There was either fire here that involved a very large animals or a... dragon," mumbling the last word but continued, "no that couldn't be, dragons wouldn't be this close to human territory.. would they?" She questioned and look up at Aero with curiosity on her face.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

"You know you're kinda cute," Aero said feeling himself blush by the offset thing he just said. He stared directly into her eyes with his gaze in a seductive look.

Storm narrowed his eyes as he watched the human named Jewels check out Aero's footprint and burned vegetation. They were better off killing both humans to protect themselves but if they did then they might inadvertently bring about a war faster and the young Prince had no desire to endanger his future subjects.

 

[Defective Kitten]

Jewel was surprised by the sudden topic change, he most likely just did that so he would've have to answer the question though. Raising a brow, she stood up from where she was. "Smooth topic change," she remarked, he didn't really mean it, or at least she didn't believe him in the slightest.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

Aero moved toward her and put his hand under her chin "If I didn't mean it why would I say it" He said as he walked by her his hand lingering for a moment before following as he walked over to his footprint.

Jewel was yet again stunned by Aero casually touching her, such a strange person he was, but than again he is a dragon. Deciding to finally reveal her knowledge, she was prepared to fight if need be. Jewel wasn't just a pretty face, she was a fighter who could hold her own. "So do all dragons flirt with the first human they meet? Or is it just you?" A rather mischievous smirk appeared on her face, her hand ready to pull out her sword. Although this wasn't her first time encountering dragons, they weren't hard to take down, well the bandits weren't at least.

Lyza started her day just like another day, stepped on the stage, and started to dance and sing. But today, she also looking around to see if 'her man' came again to the pub. People was cheering on her, mostly men, but no one could take her heart just like he did. She wished that today will over soon, so she could start to find 'her man'. After 3 hours straight of dancing and singing, Lyza finally ended her shift. She took her maroon bag and stormed out of the pub.


"Where are you going?" her foster father, Diro, shouted from the bar.


"I'm just going for a walk."


"Okay, be sure to come back before your shift, Lyza."


"Yes, father."


First thing first, hmm... Where should I go? I don't even have a clue where he is, where he lives, what does he do. Oh whatever, I'll just go around the town and maybe get any clue.

"We don't, Hey Storm i'm going to show off a little here" Aero said with a chuckle. "Oh and don't hold your sword I don't intend to hurt you" Aero said as he looked at her with a smirk. He surrounded himself in flames while he shifted and came out as his dragon form "Impressed?" He asked her in his dragon form as his tail moved slightly behind him serpent like.

Storm rolled his eyes as he watched Aero flirt with the human, though he supposed he wasn't doing much better with staring at the human Aero had asked him to talk with. He had just stood up and was walking towards the stairs when he stopped at hearing Jewel mention dragons again and froze mid-step which wasn't smart as the Prince was rather clumsily on land and lost his balance, falling on his back. Grumbling to himself he got up and stared as Aero revealed his true form to these humans. "Aero," Storm hissed at his friend.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

"Storm she already knows and I trust them," Aero said his voice truthful as his tail whipped at a house breaking some of the stone. "Plus we could give them a ride back to their home or if you'd like to ours," he said with a chuckle as he turned back to Jewel watching her carefully while in his dragon form.

 

[Defective Kitten]

Curious upon what he meant by "show off", Jewel backed up when he engulfed himself in flames, transforming into his dragon form which wasn't at all small. "Why do you trust us so much into even showing us your true form?" She asked curiously, not loosening her grip on the sword which was still sheathed on her belt. Instead of being impressed with his large form, she was rather struck by his idiocy. What if they had been dragon slayers or someone had seen him in this form. He could be in danger, especially for being so close to the border.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

"Well call it a dragons intuition but I have feelings for one of you and even if those are removed. I would trust you since I revealed so much before and you didn't kill me on the first one" Aero said as he lowered his head down to peer at Jewel "Now did you?" He asked with smirk. "Storm if you want I can carry all of you since i;m the faster one" He said bragging as he turned to storm with a chuckle coming from his dragon form.

 

[Defective Kitten]

Feelings? He must be stupid, we've only just met and he doesn't even know me. Those feelings of his must be just of friendship and if not they must be towards the princess, she's the delicate one that all the suitors want. Jewel's thought lingered before snapping out of it. Getting a bit flustered by his statement that was true, but unwilling to admit it for herself, she simply responded stubbornly. ".. the only reason why I hadn't pulled my blade is because it would be unnecessary blood shed and could bring Mena into harms way." Crossing her arms with a rather childish pout.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

"I wouldn't hurt a woman," he said as he looked at her noting her hand still on the blade. He stretched his wings out and moved them a little careful of the area around him.

 

[Defective Kitten]

"Hurt a women? Why? Because you think we're weak?" Jewel spoke sharply, obviously a bit offended by his statement. But whether she was playfully speaking or serious, it was hard to tell just by her facial expression. Not letting her guard down, she didn't dare take her hand off her sword. Stranger are not to be trusted.
