Fantasy Crimson Yin: Forbidden Love

"Sarah!" I exclaimed, the pup barked in response. "Oh thank you, misters. How ever can I repay you?" I asked looking at both of them.

Aero turned round and saw some other people there, "Hey is this your pup?" He asked holding the wolf pup us to them.

Giving a light jog over to the two strangers, she ran up to them and Knight followed behind. "Yes, It's her wolf pup." Jewel spoke calmly with a gracious smile, she knew how important the pup was to Mena so finding Sasha, she was almost as thrilled as Mena was.

"While we were going on a trip, she jumped out of our bag and well...we couldn't find her," I explained to them. Sasha was wagging her small little tail when she saw me.

"Oh well here then" Aero said as he put the pup on the ground. "Hi my name is Aero" He said with a bow he had learned to do from living with the royal dragon family.

Storm turned as he heard voices and was about to comment that Aero was going mad when he saw a two girls, one on a horse walking towards them. He moved to stand beside his friend, snorting at the him being a gentleman to, as far as he could see and smell, humans. He didn't say anything, instead staring impassively at the two humans and the horse before looking down at the wolf pup and then back at the humans, his eye glancing briefly at Jewels before going to Mena.

Arwynn slowly lowered her bow as the last arrow found its mark deep into the side of the fleeing wolf. Sides heaving, she watched as the beast fell to the earth with a muted thud and after taking a moment to catch her breath, assessed her surroundings. Using the faint light given off by the moons, she began counting the furred heaps sprawled out around her and found there to be five wolves. "Not bad, eh?" she said to Shahe as the great cat padded up to her, "less than our last one, but still pretty good.".

Stroking his striped head, she looked up towards a distant mountain, its peak casting down a massive shadow over the adjacent valley, "They must have come down from Dagger Peak... this is not good...".

Already 20 of her village's livestock had been killed by wolves or the occasional mountainsaber, and on this particular attack; two sheep down, one wounded. She cursed silently at herself for this failure and glared angrily at the crumpled forms of the slain wolves. Winter was fast approaching and the village could not survive if these attacks continued at this rate.

In fact it was not the wolves' fault; the game in the land surrounding the village had all but run dry of a once plentiful source of prey for the wolves and the villagers. Something was wrong, and Arwynn knew it, but knew not what. The world is changing, was the most popular belief among the village elders, and although she herself was never very superstitious, Arwynn had to agree.

Shahe emitted a deep rumbling as she rubbed his throat, her fingers feeling the vibrations through his thick fur. She stopped in alarm as she suddenly felt the hot sticky flow of an open wound. After a quick inspection she found the source of the blood, a nasty bite wound on his shoulder that thankfully was not too deep. "Looks like they got you this time, buddy, here let me clean you up." Digging through her bag, Arwynn found some bandages and ointment and began to attend to Shahe's wounds.

After standing back up he whispered to Storm "It's best not to upset humans" his smile still remained shown to the two girls. "If they try anything though you should leave them to me" He whispered thinking about the royal family.

"Thank you for finding the wolf, we graciously appreciate it." Jewel spoke, her voice smooth and her smile sweet. She bowed as well, the days of being a personal guard caught up to her as it was polite to bow to strangers when greeting or thanking. "I am Juliet, or rather, just call me Jewels. This is Mena." Jewel was unsure of whether to tell the stranger their statues, though she concluded that it was better not to since they did sneak out of the royal palace. "We are travelers.. This very naughty wolf is named Sasha and my horse is named Knight. Nice to come in acquaintance with you Aero. And yours?" She asked after introducing everyone.

"This is Storm and You know me, We are adventurers" He said making sure to show Storm this was his plan to get everyone to relax and not hostile.

'I guess its not ny turn to speak yet.' I thought, petting Sasha. Sasha purred like a kitten, I giggled at how off she sounded. I didn't really look up at our new buddies but I felt like the guy, Storm was staring at me.

"Fine," Storm muttered under his breath so that only Aero would be able to hear with his superior hearing. He listened to the introductions as he continued staring at Mena, not paying Jewels any attention. Confused at why a human had a wolf as a pet which likely showed on his face. The Dragon Sages had said that wolves attacked the livestock of humans and were generally hated and killed. Deciding not to tell his parents about this part, he gave a bow to two female humans. "Yes I'm Storm and we were just exploring," Storm said. "Haven't explored much of these ruins though."

Aero saw how Storm was staring at the Mena girl. "It seems my friend may have a little crushm" Aero said chuckling as he walked away from them and towards an empty building.

"Maybe we can help you, we have plenty of time." I suggested, looking at Jewel. I gave her a puppy dog face and so did Sasha.' I hope this works.' I thought.

Jewel was about to say something about her offer but when she looked up at Mena, she gave her little puppy dog eyes alongside with Sasha's little puppy dog eyes. Sighing, she decided just to go with it. They needed to kill time anyhow. "Y-yes. Sure. Perhaps we could help you on your exploration, it's not as if we have any true destination to go to."

"Whoever knows ancient language I need over here," he said with a motion to himself as he approached a building that had carvings on it.

Storm turned his head and glared at his friend over his shoulder. "Who are you?" he questioned Mena as he turned his gaze back on her and the pup.

"That would be you." I pointed to Jewel and snickered. Sasha barked in agreement as I watched her go over there. "Sasha, you know that was wrong. Only mommy gets to do that." I scolded the little pup.

Jewel smirked as Mena pointed her out as the ancient language reader. "Sure." Walking towards the building with the writing on it. For mission, Jewel would have to read the ancient writings and unknown inscriptions, the writing on the wall just happened to basically be a second language to her. Getting up to Aero, she gave him a darling smile. "What do you need for me to read?"

"Well I can't exactly understand this," he said as he pointed to the wall, "or any of this," he said as he kept pointing and spun around pointing at the ruins before landing on her. "That's where you come in," he said as he winked at her and went back to trying to study the carvings.

"Yes dear. Whatever you say," Storm said sarcastically, still staring at Mena and rolling his eyes as he spoke. He walked over to a stone step that was covered with moss by the building they had been exploring before the human females had arrived and sat down. Unsure what to do now, and a bit peeved at the humans for interrupting their exploration, he went back to brooding over the upcoming winter that was going to be here in two months.

Secretly while Jewel is busy, I hop down from Knight then sits on the ground. The ground was very soft surprising, I now know the wonders of grass. "Ah feels so good." I mumble, starting to make a grass angel.

"Storm, can you talk with the other human, I-i mean girl" He said with a quick change before he looked at The two girls hoping he didn't hint them off there.

"Sure," Storm says and gets up before walking over to Mena and sitting down a little ways from her.

"Really though what's your name? Everyone else, including pup there, has introduced themselves but you haven't said a word," Storm says. For some reason he finds the human pretty, something he's never thought about before concerning human and can't keep himself from not looking at her.
