Fantasy Crimson Yin: Forbidden Love

I tried to get up but fell back down in pain. I looked at my ankle and saw it swollen. 'Great..first day out and I'm hurt. Jewel is going to kill me.' I thought scolding myself. I didn't see Sasha anywhere from where I was sitting.

Storm frowned and listened but didn't hear anything. Shrugging he went back into the building that he had been searching before they had found Nayome.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

Aero watched as a deer lept out of the brush and he walked to join Storm, "So how do you think this place will turn out?" He asked studying the markings on the stone.

Storm looked around at the walls and shrugged. "I'm not sure but maybe we can find out what happened to the people or maybe dragons who used to live here," he said. "Who knows? Maybe we'll uncover some buried treasure or ancient artifacts and books. It could be our own treasure hoard."

The gallop of Knight's feet was loud and fast, easy to distinguish that even the birds flew away. Her cape went wild behind her, the ponytail bounced with each gallop. Once she spotted Mena sitting on the ground, Jewel slowed down Knight and basically sprinted to her. Cupped Mena's cheeks between her palms, she began checking her to see if she was okay. "My lady, my lady! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Spotting the swollen ankle, she quickly asked, "Your ankle! You've been hurt! This is why you wait for me! Don't go running off! We could've looked for Sasha together." Jewel was practically a mother to Mena at this moment, despite the fact that she was only a year older.


"Oh no. I should've brought medicine, I didn't think you'd get hurt. I thought we were just going on a nice ride through the he forest. Geez, I'm such a bad guard and friend and I'm just overall bad person!" Jewel began shaming herself for Mena's injury. "I'm so sorry Princess." Her apology was followed by a sad expression and sorrowful eyes.

 

[Mena]

"Its fine. " I reassured you, patting your head. I reached over and hugged Jewel. "I shouldn't have ran out ahead like that, and now I can't find Sasha." I began to tear up.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

"That would be cool" He said as he recognized the ancient text, "Storm this is written in an ancient human language" He said as he looked at storm with worry.

Storm went over to the wall to examine the writing. "So humans once lived here," he says slowly. "I wonder if we can discover why they were here and what happened to them. We may need to be careful. I've heard from some of the Dragon Sages that humans sometimes leave traps for their enemies in places like this," he said.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

"This was a merchant town" Aero said as he looked at the language. "It says, When the dragons enter the city of water the men will fall" He said as he struggled to read it his eyes straining slightly as he read.

Storm blinked in surprise. "Pity it's too small in here to turn into our true forms. Then the writing would be easier to read."


Within the Blood Order Headquarters, Jasper was pacing the throne room although the original thrones had crumbled to dust with disuse. This was a city forgotten by time, lost to the sands of the wasteland in which they were located. It was likely forgotten by both the Yin Republic and that hated Crimson Kingdom where dragons resided. One of the dragons was supposed to be showing up today after a spying mission. Not that he cared for the dragons, he wanted them all dead or slaves to the humans and planned on turning on them when they won the war. Sighing he motioned a messenger to go look out for the dragon and sat down on the reconstructed throne that had taken a couple of years to rebuild.

"Yeah, oh I have an idea" Aero said as he went outside and turned to his normal form looking at the sky releasing his blue flame really quick as he blew off some anger. He moved his head back down and pushed his head into the doorway opening his mouth with a light blue flame flickering. "The light should help so go ahead and try to read it" He said his breath making the flame dance slightly.

 

[Mena]

I see the light blue fire raise up into the sky. It looked like a thousand firepits put together and lit at the same time."What's that?" I asked Jewel, nudding her.

 

[Defective Kitten]

Looking at what Mena was pointing at, she saw the light blue flame dance across the sky. Jewel quickly put her hand on the grip of her sword, ready to attack if anything came towards them. "What is that..." mumbled Jewel as the confusion ran across her mind.

 

[Mena]

"Lets go check it out." I motioned for her to get up. I used my good foot to jump forward, then spun around. "This is fun," I exclaimed, smiling a happy smile.

Storm turned back to the writing. He hadn't had much experience with the humans or their language, only knowing it was different from dragon speech. Looking closely at the writing, he struggled to make it out. "When the dragons enter the city of water the men will fall. F...found...founded in the early days of Xuvall by a colony of humans who come from a place called E...Earth. F...Fou...found...er is M..." he shook his head. "That's all I can make out," he says. "Maybe you should shift back," he says walking out of the ruins.

The walking Black Flame




In front of the castle entrance the ground started to shake slightly as Cracks started to appear, as suddenly the earth would shatter and a large black scaled paw comes out of the ground, followed by another one Clinging to the other side,slowly a head emerge from the ground as it continued splitting the ground were it was coming from loud CRACKS and SNAPS can be heard as the black scaled Dragon emerge from the ground,massive tusk reveal itself as soon the full head was our revealing deep green eyes and Black scaled face, it gave a slight growl as it would extend its draconian paws out and grab the ground and pull itself out, massive spines ripping the ground till after some time the black dragon was out of the underground,it shook its Body making any dirt fall off and would then slowly start turning back to a Human leaving behind a massive hole.


Once she was done turning back to Human it was Akata one of the commanders,as she would clear her throat as she sees a messenger approach her as she would say "Yes I know I'm late....don't tell me"she said serious tone with her hands behind her back she would walk inside the castle,she would see Jasper on the throne as she would approach him, soon as she was in front would give a bow and say "I'm sorry I'm late....The humans don't understand private space and needed to...execute them."

Getting up from the ground, Jewels swiftly picked up Mena princess style, because she is one. "How about instead of jumping around and risk another injury, you just get on Knight and I'll take you to there," she spoke with a soft smile before placing her on the saddle, leading Knight to the area with the fire. Knight was more than just fast, he was brave also, fire wouldn't scare him and neither would scary beast like dragons. Jewel could depend on him to not run away until she told him to, she had a bond with him almost as strong as with Mena.


"Don't jump off running again until I say so. okay? When we get home, you're getting scolded just so you know so get ready," she spoke half jokingly half serious.

 

[Entity.Eclypse]

Aero pulled his head out of the ruin and some dust tickled his nose he sneezed causing his blue flame to shoot at a bush lighting it ablaze. Running over to it he laid on the fire extinguishing it "That was close to bad" He said as he walked over to Storm.

 

[Mena]

"Aye...ma'am," I said, looking at the buildings away from her general direction. "I want to see if dragons are as scary as people believe someday. I just wish my dad didn't mistreat the dragons." I mumbled to myself, Jewel could hear me softly.

Jasper turned his eyes to the door as Akata walked in. This dragon was one of the commanders, recommended by the Discontented Dragon Leader who was absent for some reason. But who knew how things were with dragons. At least this one was showing respect which was more than many of her kind. "Yes humans are too nosy for their own good sometimes," Jasper said in agreement. He'd had to dispose of messengers who listened in on private meetings with some of his own human commanders many a time. "Aside from humans listening on your conversation, how was your mission. Don't leave anything out." It disgusted him to have to be nice with and work with these animals but there was no other way to get the dragons' deaths or the war started without working with them so he put up with it.

Storm nodded, relieved that his friend hadn't been spotted in his true form. "Do you have any idea what Earth is?" he asked.

"I've read about it and heard it was the place humans came from," Aero said as he shifted back to human form. "Or at least the books say that," he said with a shrug

Storm shook his head at that, finding it hard to believe. He sat down the overgrown grass and moss that covered the entire area, crossing his legs. Hearing something in the bushes near them, he stood up and turned towards the bushes but all that came out was a small wolf pup. "Huh wonder how that got here?"

"Do you think it got separated from it's mother" Aero said moving towards the canine. "Hey little one" He said with a welcoming smile

"Maybe. It looks a bit too young to be out on its own," Storm said. "We should see if we can find it's mother." Deciding to let Aero deal with the wolf pup as his friend was good with babies, he went to the bush where the pup had come out before looking around for tracks.

Walking up to the ruins, leading Knight with Mena on his back and her open hand clasped onto the grip of her sword, ready to attack if need be. "How do you even know if they're dragons?" Mumbling softly so that only Mena could hear. Upon arriving to the structure she saw two boys, one of them holding Sasha.
