"Interesting indeed.....I must say never heard of it...well i think i have But memory is Killing me so not sure but i must say not bad of story of how this started....so who is this Moonchild?"She ask as she would watch Kinda Interested indeed,never heard of it But meh was Nice actually,so the Large moons saved them and all? sending a um...Mermaid? Still interested!

as she waited she would hear Flaping Noice of wings,Akata would raise her head and would ask "
is there something flying around?...I cant see"she ask just looking foward as soon a odd,Orange and Bright Isect,the size of a Open palm,Flyes Over them Both and slowli lands and plants intself on a tree near by.

@Juju @Archdemon

Arwynn shrugs her shoulders, "Well, the moonchild was said to be the offspring of the moons and sea... a creation of their magic I assume. Her actual name has been forgotten over the ages as well as during the fall of the city, which comes later in the story." she half laughs at the mermaid comment, "Yeah I guess so... but then again mermaids in legend are connected to the moons so, eh. it is only a legend." she was about to continue but stopped as she saw the insect flutter above their heads "it is some insect... much like a moth or butterfly? it is bright orange... i don't think i have seen the species before."

@Yonsisac @Archdemon

"Well that is Interesting......Hmmm how did the place Fa-..wait Orange?!...do me a Favore and Squish it-..No just dont ok,scare it away pleas?...dont ask why just do it"She said slightly alarm and seem she dint whant that thing near or anything,But why? she dint seem she was gona say why but Meh maybe you could Ignore her,Akata would sigh and well notice Just because of the Moth she would say "Off Topic sorry....But how did the place Fall? how did it become what is now?"she ask as she would feel her eyes starting to Hurt slightly,she would Rub her eyes and would smile as well she is geting her Vision back,after some Rubbing and buring eye she would Open them and now be abble to see "Hey....I can see again!"she said looking around as now she had the chance to look at the Boy,But Funny part is her eyes were Bloodshoted....well seems that was a side effect or something.

@Juju @Archdemon

Arwynn gave Akata a quizzical look as she told her to scare away the insect, "what's wrong with you? are dragons scared of butterflies -haheh that would actually be comical. I could tell the kingdom to send a bunch of insects instead of our soldiers." she chuckled a bit as she got up and quickly scooped up the insect in her hands and examined it. "now what is wrong with it? is it poisonous or something? you seem to know what it is..."

"yes, yes, I will tell you of the fall, but explain a little about why you wanted to get rid of the bug."

@Yonsisac @Archdemon

Guards were stationed outside Jasper's chambers as the Discontented Human Leader of Blood Yang slept, preventing anyone from bothering the middle-aged man as well as at the entrance to the hallway leading to his wing of the castle. Just like at the throne room where guards would be to help Star and protect her on Jasper's orders, even if his daughter was an Elite Solider for Blood Yang. If there was something amiss, someone would end up waking up Jasper and hoped he wasn't in a bad mood when he woke up.

One of the slaves would enter the throne room and give a bow to Star before asking if she needed nourishment or anything else. Nobody wanted to get on Jasper's bad side or Kai's for that matter. Disobeying Star, unless it was something they knew Jasper wouldn't approve of, was liable to get their head on the chopping block if Jasper found out any transgressions had been made concerning his daughter.
@Yonsisac

"WHY ARE YOU HOLDING IT!?...Ok Ok! Its a Comet! Those things Can Burst in to a Violent explosion!"She said befor amidiatly standing up and slaping the Bug Of her hand and she would raise her hands showing she was not gona Hurt the Huntress just whanted to make sure she dint blow herself up "Look theas things are Very abundant in the dessert....just dont go Picking them up....and that was just a small one ok...there are MUCH biger out there"she said with her hands still raised befor Giving a sigh and would slowli sit back down showing no danger....Geez....she saved her ass and Herself and All those around here from a Bug.The large Moth would fall on the ground and would crawl away to saftey.

Star was sitting on the Throan as she would see one of the slaves and would Nod befor saying "
Yes...I would love you to Bring me some Dragon Berries pleas...."she said with a warm and Friendly smile as she would Cross her legs as she sat on the Throan,as she did she had 3 of her Comets with her,2 Were small and laying on her lap wille one Dog size Comet was standing on the Top of the Throan resting,she smield and would pass her hand on the small ones and Gigle "You are suck Cuties now are you?"she said with a smile as they would make this odd Meep Noice as a responce.

@eclipsehowls @Juju @Archdemon

The slave nodded and then left the room to carry out Star's request. Slipping into the kitchen the slave grabbed a plate and hefted a good size portion of Dragon Berries onto the plate before carrying it back to the throne room. The guards let him through without comment and the slave set the tray down on a table that a messenger brought forth from the side of the throne room, setting the table in front of Star where the plate would be left on it. The messenger would return to his place by the wall where he had been standing and the slave to his duties. @Yonsisac

She smile dseeing the ray full of the Dark red Berry,she would lean down and Pick up one befor sliping it in her Mouth,the sour and Spicy Flavor was kinda bad but the after taste is what made them good,she would swallow and smile as the sweet taste set it...Oh boy that was good...as she would begin to eat them one by one,as she would be curius of something,she would look at the table beside the Throne and would pick it up looking at it seeing its her dads Reports on Kai and Akata that Oddly went Missing,she would look around and see the messanger befor whiseling towards him and gesture him to come Over.

Once the messanger was near she would point at the two names and show him befor saying "I whant you to Finde any Information or Evidence related to theas two in any of the Posible Towns and cities,They Might not have Gone far and mostly must be in one of them,maybe In a Prison......Just doing dad a Favor"she said as she was Helping her dad finde theas Lost Odd hight rank Commanders....how can some one such high rank just....Vanish? they mut have been Prison surely in one of the cities or tonws.....she was just speculation do as she was not exacly sure what happend

@eclipsehowls

"Huh..." I processed this for a second then started laughing. "This is really funny...we've been meeting each other here on coincidence but yet we haven't attacked each other yet." I giggled. I motioned for Sasha to jump on my lap but she barked and ran over to Storm, pawing at him.

The messenger looked at the two names and nodded upon getting over his shock at who he was supposed to look for before bowing and left the throne room to find out any information on the two wayward high commanders. @Yonsisac

Storm listened to Mena laugh, not really finding the situation humorous. "Well I don't kill humans unless necessary," he said, "and...for some reason your face has been popping up a lot in my mind since we've been meeting each other." He knew his parents would never approve of such a 'relationship' and then frowned at the word. There was no way he and Mena were in a 'relationship'. But then why would they seem to always run into each other here in Moon Yin Ruins? Yes he knew what these ruins were called, even if he hadn't recognized them. He'd heard of the Moon Yin Ruins in conversations between some of the Dragon Sages back home. Storm glanced down at Sasha and crouched down to pat the wolf pup on her head. Thinking this was a stupid question he decided to go for it. "Have I been popping up in your dreams or thoughts since we first met?" Storm asked, feeling foolish. @Mena

"THEY DO WHAT!?" Arwynn pulled her hands towards her chest defensively as a reflex after Akata had swatted the insect off of her hand. She glared at the retreating insect and almost reached for her bow to shoot the bloody thing, but didnt want it to explode, "what is it doing so far from the desert?! hmph something is not right in the world these days..."

slightly calmer, she sat back down by the campfire and glanced quickly at Akata, almost finding herself thanking the dragon but hesitated. However, she said the closest thing a dragonhunter could say, "well, I guess its a good thing I didn't tie you to that tree, eh?"

"well, now that that is over... i guess I should continue the story. Hmm I guess the city's fall comes after and was caused by its rise so I will tell you how it came to be the prosperous trading hub it was famous for."

@Yonsisac @Archdemon

"Well...no but every time I would fall asleep, I would sometimes sense your presence even though you weren't there with me. It really is strange, ya know?" I said. I glanced at Sasha, she seemed like she was already used to him being here. I picked myself off the ground and dusted the dust and dirt off me. I think leaned up against the wall, waiting for Sasha to come over to me. The wolf pup still didn't move and looked like she wanted to be with Storm a little bit more. I shrugged at it then looked away, back towards the night time sky.

Storm's frown only deepened at Mena's words. "I'm not sure why that is I'm afraid," he said. "But yes it is rather odd," he said. "So since we're here what do you do all day in your castle or are you never allowed out?" May as well get to know each other, he thought. @Mena

The messenger who had been appointed the task of finding information on Akata and Kai took a desert horse and left Afoss Wasteland to find out what information there was to be had on the two high ranking dragon commanders.

Nayome stood there and watched the two interact with each other, not sure what Kai and maybe Jasper had planned. She stayed out of the way of the royal heirs though, sticking by her uncle's side, knowing she'd just be chased again if she tried leaving. @Azula Cross

"I'm not usual allowed outside but on occasions I get to walk the gardens on the castle grounds. Its much better than being held up in the castle and even better than attending snobby parties." I complained just a bit. I felt a bit better after finally telling someone my problems even if it was someone I had just met. "Its really hard to even look out the window because there are always guards around who think I'm escaping." I mumbled.

"That's depressing," Storm said. "My first time to Moon Yin Ruins was my first time ever out of Crimson Kingdom. Since we're hunted if we come over the boundaries, I've grown up there in more or less safety. My parents don't even know that Aero and I left the first time or that I snuck out when we fell in that pit or that I ran away." @Mena

Arwynn cleared her throat before continuing the story.

The settlers were happy; whatever they needed the moonchild provided for them, and she even helped their boats to travel from the lake to the sea. However, the villagers looked at the distant mountain waterfalls and said, “With all of our people, we need a fresh source of water to drink, and the trip to the mountains is both dangerous and far.”

“Do not worry, dear children” said the moonchild “you will have your fresh water” and without hesitation the moonchild coaxed the cold mountain waters down to the lake and created a beautiful waterfall that the future city later became famous for.

The villagers were once again happy, but soon faced another problem. “moonchild” they said “our village grows, and our small lake and way to the sea has not grown with us.” so the moonchild deepened the lake and stretched out its silken surface, and the villagers rejoiced.

Soon the village flourished as the villagers made use of the precious metal they found in the rivers and that had surfaced when the lake expanded. The village soon became a city, and the city soon became a major trading center for the free human nations, both inland and at sea. Merrick the wanderer soon became a king, and was known far and wide as Merrick Ruler of The Sea. The rivers flowed gold, and from every corner of the land representatives and visitors paid their respects to the golden city of water and its great ruler. And then came the dragons...

"so, that was the city's rise... and next is its fall." Arwynn paused again to allow the others to comment if they wanted.

@Yonsisac @Archdemon

Oh so the Dragons Cause here downfall? Great Dragons all the time Huh? its like In stories the Dragon steals the Princes and the hero needs to save her,oh well she was just gona Ignore that part but Heh was just a story anyways,she would nod and would say "Not that bad actually....so theas people just had a mermaid do there work in short? and then came the lizards and Ruind everything....Kinda mainstream but i go with it"she said only to strech her hands and lean on the nearby tree as well...was not half bad actually,atleat was some Interesting Story to hear and hell who knows might have been True all she knows.

"and yes you are Lucky you dint Tie me up because if you did i bet we would all have been Killd because of a Dam bug....even the small ones can cause damage"she said as she would sigh and Look at the Herb Boy and then at the Huntress and would sigh....she needed to get out of here sooner or later....she would have been alredy free if it were not for this Dam dog Collarn,but hey she will just not now.

@Juju @Archdemon

(but wait, folks, there's more! - I promise I will shut up after this xD )

Arwynn frowned, "Isn't it always the same story? dragons come along and kill us humans? eh, I wasn't the one who created the legend, but it is still pretty good for telling." she looks at Akata and crosses her arms, "Hey! I was never told of a species of butterfly that would suddenly explode!

Anyway... do you want to here the ending or not- i find it is the most -mysterious- part, myself."

It was not long before the dragon overlords became intrigued by the wealth of the City of Water and paid the human city a visit. Many people in the city feared the dragons but some decided to worship the creatures as gods. What made matters worse was that instead of paying homage to the moonchild the people payed their respects to the dragons, and for every hour of the day flames were lit to honor the great beasts and the continual wealth of the city. People forgot about the beauty and life-giving of the water and instead honored fire and the amber glow of gold. Forgotten, the moonchild became weak due to the lack of praise –what the gods get their divine powers from- causing a massive drought to sweep the land around the city.

With this, Arwynn snorted in disgust before staring into the fire “and now comes the fall of the city.”

The people blamed the dragons for the drought and for planning to steal their wealth and attacked the dragons, causing heavy casualties on both sides.

Thus is the fate of those with Dragonsickness…” Arwynn said and yawned. “Now this is where all the stories seem to differ slightly, but I’ll tell you a handful of the better versions of the city’s fall”

Saddened by the shed of blood, the moonchild wept for her beloved people which caused massive floods to disperse the fighting. Others say that the moonchild raised the lake to wash away all of the gold into the depths of the lake, and that the greedy would jump into the water to take the riches but drowned in the water, but those who were not greedy were spared. Another version says that after the city dwellers successfully drove off the dragons, the empire sent more dragons to crush and loot the city and to take the people as slaves…

The disappearance of the people reoccurs in every account and most agree that the moonchild still resides in the bottom of the lake guarding the cursed riches of the once great city. They say that the city’s greatest treasure -her heart- is hidden somewhere in the city, but that the wicked souls of the greedy folks will kill any who get near the thing.

Arwynn shrugs her shoulders, “I wouldn’t risk it… after all there were many people who went lost looking for it, and the few that did come back were never the same again.” She pauses and stretched out her stiff arms. “So that is the legend of the Moon Yin ruins… yeah it is a tad lengthy but it is always fun to hear different family's accounts of the tale."

(Err. Just because I haven't posted in a while and I just wanted to let you guys know I'm still around for this rp.)

Thunder rumbles off in the distance before small droplets of water descend from the night sky. Just a few moments ago it was a clear night sky but it seemed that the weather turned around for the worst, filling the star lit night with clouds that only seemed to make the night darker. The droplets hit Jewel's cheek and rolled down like cool river streams, although it didn't seem like they disturbed her too much due to the fact that it wasn't raining hard just yet.

(is this okay? am I allowed to do this?)

Aero transformed into dragon form and put one wing under Jewel while the other created an umbrella of sorts for her. The rain didn't bother him at all since he was there with her. His mind was to set on her to worry about weather.

The thunder and lighting, along with the rain only got louder and heavier. Lighting finally stroked loud enough for Jewel to hear, her eyes shot wide open as if in fear to only see Aero in his dragon form. Sitting up in a rather confused position, she glanced around only to be hit with the realization of what was going on around her. "Rain..! You're getting wet!" Looking down at herself expecting to be soaked as well but she was dry. "No. Put me down and change back too please." Asking of him as she crept to the edge of his wing, I'd rather get soaked with him than him protecting me all the time, I'm strong enough to handle a little rain.

Aero moved his wings together creating a sort of trap. "I'm not getting wet, the heat from my body is making it dissipate before hand" He said with a smirk as he heard the rain burning away. "Besides I'd prefer to get wet than for you to get sick." He said with genuine care in his voice but also a bit of sternness.

Seeing the contraption to prevent her from getting off his wing, Jewel looked up at Aero with a pouted face. "I'm not going to get sick! I'm strong enough to hold my own. It's just a little rain." Speaking with a little bit of determination in her voice, she probably looked so small and weak due to his unmeasurable size. As soon as she finished her sentence, a moment or two passed before the wind began picking up along with the heavy rain but Jewel was more than determined to not have to be protected by Aero.

Aero looked at her while still keeping rain from hitting him. "Well it's not a little rain, plus I don't want to chance you getting sick or I would be angry for not keeping you from it." He said with a bit of his own determination as he drove himself to help her. He couldn't chance her or they might not be near each other for a long time if she was in recovery for an illness.

Jewel's expression stayed pouted, she hated having to have Aero protect her so much especially in the short time they've been together. Looking around to find a sneaky way to escape, she stayed sitting while studying around the prison like room that he cleverly built. Goddamn, I forgot that dragons where this large.. Letting out a sigh before crawling over to one of the "walls" hoping that she'd at least be able to tiptoe or scale it so that seeing the outside world would be possible.
