Fantasy Crimson Yin: Forbidden Love

Akata would hear her,she sigh and would extend her arm as she heard the Rattling "Oh great...Im gona be a dog now....woof...atleast you are not gona tie me up...Bark"she said with sarcasam as she would just have her hand extended,Her other hands elbow agains her leg as she soported her chin on Its hand and with a sigh and a anoying look on her face...great she had to wear this dam thing....Just great....she just sat there with this anoying look.....if she were not blind right now she would be back at the castle.....

Arwynn rolled her eyes as she stabilized Akata's arm with a hand, "If i could trust your kind, neither of us would have to do this, if i must remind you again..." taking her dagger she would make a small cut on Akata's hand and allow a couple of drops to fall onto the rusted collar. "There, now be a good girl."


As the blood made contact with the collar, the rust seemed to slowly fall off of the collar, which had now started to change from a dull grey to a blackish hue - much like Akata's dragon scales. As Arwynn fitted the loose collar around Akata's neck it would lock on its own accord and tighten to fit snugly against her skin, although loose enough for her to breath properly.


"Now, if you do not know what this is, i will remind you that it is a dragon shackle... you try and switch back to your dragon form, you will promptly slice your neck down to the size the collar is now."


Standing back up, she wiped off the blood from her dagger.

"I know what this is......Ashley and Mark died because of one of theas...*sigh*....Hate theas thing...You dont know them but Meh just whanted to tell you not the first time i see theas things"she said as she would strech she was curius and would ask "so were is the new Person?...He is on my right?...Behinde me?"she ask as she would turn her head here and there...still unable to see but maybe in a few more Minutes she would be abble to,she was curius of the "Herb collecter" that stumble around here,yea yea she knows she cant get theas off or escape yea she knows...and dosent care...But like she is gona be stuck here she atleast whanted to get to know the new person and maybe the Huntress aswell a Little...and Overall she whanted to kill time.

"I'm um........" He turned around to see how far the bushes where. "..... I'm like in between the bushes and the fire so the middle behind you. Also it's nice to meet you people! And large cat." He sorta just stood there with a nervous smile on his face "Lovely evening we have here....................... Yeah......" Blake shook his head as he thought 'Wonderful evening!! I really am terrible at socializing......'

"Oh ok....and i cant tell if it a Lovely evening because i cant see....But i bet it is....so what is your name? Im akata By the way"she said as she would turn her head backwards facing the Person that spoke,well...was not perfectly facing him but i close atleast,she wonderd who this was but meh atleast a Nice chat wont hurt,she wonderd were wa the Huntress....she was near but hey....Blind here,maybe this wont be as bad as she thought

Shahe perked up his ears and began padding towards Blake, the cat's jaws parted slightly as he tasted the air. Extending his neck, Shahe began sniffing at Blake's head, his fangs inches away from the man's face.


Adding to Akata's comment Arwynn grumbles, "Lovely? Hmmph i guess it would be if you forget the coming winter..." she sighed as she crouched down and put some more branches into the fire.

"I um.... I'm sorry....." He rubbed the back of his head "I didn't know you were blind Miss Akata...... My name is Blake Winters! Is it okay if I sit besides you? I'd rather talk close and not a couple feet away but it's your choice." He didn't move at all when the large cat walked up to Blake as it sniffed his head "Nice cat.... Please don't eat my face... I'm quite attached to it." He said this while petting the head gently so that it wouldn't get aggressive.

"Oh i dont minde...and Nice to meet you blake"she said looking back as she heard the Huntress....oh yea,...winter...Damite,she sigh and would say "I forgot winter was coming.....this is not good for me in anyway...."she said with a sigh as she would rub her face....this would be the worst winter ever....most of the time wen its winter she stays in the dessert but now she is STUCK here and the cold her arch enemy....great...she might aswell die in the cold....not to mention that is what the cold dose to her.

Shahe twitched his stubby tail as Blake patted his head, and emitted a soft rumble in his throat, almost like a purr.


She glanced over at Blake, "Oi, I wouldn't get too close to that one... dragons are dangerous and unpredictable creatures." She crossed her arms while looking up at Blake. "If you want to get closer i suggest you let Shahe sit between you two."

"Oh yea i forgot......she things im a Blood thirsty Monster...so dont sit near me its ok because im might suck your blood out...HooOOoooo scary me"she said with sarcasam as wow...what the hell was she gona do if she had thos dog Collarn on and aswell some one with a bow and a very mean kitty....yea she is SO dangerus all she can do is slap some one but Honestly what she can do as a Human and aswell this thing around her neck?

Blake sighed "Alright........." He walked beside Akata and sat next to the dragon lady "Hi! You know I don't find you Dragon folk as bad as people say you are, anyway have you always been blind or is this a recent thing? I'm sorry if the subject is too touchy. If you wish I could tell some tales from various times when I was in the village. It's an okay way to pass the time!"

"Well atleast you dont...Not like some one nearby that has a Bow and arrows....And no Just happend some time ago...The cold makes me weak and well causes some effect on me like Blindnes for example...and If you whant wont minde hearing some....its Boring around here anyway and Overall nothing to do.....Arwynn do you have any tales to say?...i have some aswell wont minde telling"she said Looking to....the Opposite side as Blake was on her right...Not her left...well she is Blinde so nothing wrong,aswell she had a smile on her face...she was not worried and just chill because she cant do anything for now but sit down and talk,and aswell what was she Gona do? she is just a defensless Human for now so yea...why be scared wen she cant do anything?...No harm!

Following Blake, Shahe laid down on the grass between the man and dragon, his furry body stretched out leisurely. The cat rumbled softly as he closed his eyes, although keeping one emerald eye half open to look for danger.


Upon hearing Blake's comment on his view of dragons, Arwynn scoffed as if in disgust, "not so bad, you say? Ha! Has the years washed away humanity's remembrance? It saddens me to think that all of those men and women who waged war on the dragons and gave their lives to break the chains of slavery so that their ancestors could live free once more, will be swept aside by the children of this time."


she stoked the fire with a stick and looked up when Akata asked her about stories, "yes, I have picked up many tales over the years. It depends on what type of a story you two wish to hear...but I guess neither of you want to hear any Great Hunts or battles of dragon hunters... I even know some legends of those old ruins over there" she added "one of the founding and one if it's fall..."

The silence was getting to me, i felt like a nervous train wreck. 'What is wrong with me?' I thought, staring at Storm. "So..." I tried to make some sense of what was going on. Me and Storm alone in the night without anyone around. Its not like last time, this feels a bit different.

Storm turned his head back at Mena as Sasha scrambled over to the princess. He hadn't realized the girl had followed him. "This is Nayome. We found her in the ruins," he said gesturing to the female dragon.


Nayome looked over at Mena and nodded to the princess. "Nice to meet you," she says. @Azula Cross





Storm looks at Mena in confusion. "Where do you live Mena in the Yin Republic?" he questions her, wondering if she'll answer this time. "And why were you worried about me?" @Mena

Blake looked at the sky and sighed "I might as well know some more about the ruins while I'm on my journey......" He closed his eyes as to show that he was thinking but opened them up a second later. He kept his ears alert for a possible story about the ruins from Bow Girl. He began to pet Shahe gently, you know now that he thinks about it.... The cat isn't as bad as he thought. It could still rip his face apart but at least it's not hostile to everything which is a plus for Blake.

"Well I live in a big house with lots of windows and rooms. We have lots of people that serve us, even maids and butlers. Its kinda like a mansion, but a bit worse for my taste." I explained to him. I nodded then said a small hello to the strange girl before turning back to Storm. "I was worried but the others were far more worried about you than me. Besides, I was just worried because I kinda hated the way it ended last night." I lied on the first sentence, I was actually pretty worried about him.

"Oh," Storm said. He wasn't sure why but he had thought she would sound more worried then she did. "Are you a noble?" he asked her. @Mena

 

[Mena]

"I'm close to a noble but...I don't really like to be around my family. Nobles tend to spend all their time with their families." I looked down at Sasha and patted her. She licked my hand and then let out a small bark.

"Not a noble but close enough to a noble...so....wait does that mean you're the human princess?!" @Mena

I nodded then looked away up at the sky, too embarrassed to speak. 'What if he tries to kill me?' I shook my head at that suggestion.

Storm was stunned and his mind immediately went to that dragon Hunter. The human king would probably send the dragon Hunter after him if he found out about Mena meeting a dragon. Then his thoughts went to his parents and he knew they wouldn't approve of this. But then again my parents don't seem to care anyway, he thought to himself. "Well you may not have head me before but I'm the heir to Crimson Kingdom. And here is the heir to the Yin Republic. I don't know about your father but my parents would never approve of me being in a relationship with a human, let alone the princess. Though I'm inclined to not care what they think anymore," Storm said. @Mena

Shahe purred quietly as Blake petted his fur, much like a domestic feline; save the giant proportions, fangs and claws. Shuffling towards Blake, Shahe headbutted the man's hand before resting his heavy head on Blake's lap, promptly falling asleep


Arwynn settled down into a more comfortable position next to the fire "alright then... the legend of the Moon Yin ruins it is...Now, this one is a local favourite in Daggerpeak village; every child in the village knows the tale" she rubbed her hands before the fire and chuckled, "the people there have accepted the legend as their history; after all some of them claim to be the current ancestors of the ancient city. The only real kink is that the story varies with each major bloodline... but i'll tell the most widely accepted version.


Now... where to begin?"

Akata would Rolle her eyes but atleast she could hear some desent story of something,she would have her legs cross Togheather as she sat as she was still bling but only a few more Minutes and she would be fine,she would then say "well...why dont you start in how theas Ruins first existed or who made them?....if you dont know well....Maybe how they fell and became what they are now...But up to you"akata said as she would strech and would yawn sofly but she was not tired just Bored and well whanted to do something....wonderd were Kai was too.as she did all this she would place her elbow on her lap and soposrt her head with that hand and wait....slightly Interested.

And so the Huntress began to tell the story to the unlikely audience of a healer, a dragon and a sleepy mountainsaber

It began long ago in the early days of Xuvall, on the eve of the annual Starfall. Lost in the middle of the ocean, Merrick the Ruler Of The Sea – who at this point was none other than Merrick- and his people hopelessly wandered the waves on ragged boats. Rations and moral all but spent, Merrick looked upon the reflections of the moons on the water and desperately begged the twin moons to save his people.


The blue moon was the first to respond, and she asked the sea-weary travelers, “why, you are the children of the stars and earth. Why then children, do you wander the blue depths, so far from your bright skies and warm shores?”


Merrick bowed humbly to the moon, “We search for the love of a mother long dead. One we travelers shall never see again.”


“A precious prize lost, indeed.” said the pale moon “We will help you, little children of the stars and earth – but will give you this one chance. Remember these words: when fire enters the city of water the men will fall, and the heart filled with love is the greatest treasure of all.” and with that, the two moons fell silent once more, leaving the wanders with nothing but the sound of the wind and lapping of the dark waves.


Merrick waited, assuring his people that the moons would not play a morbid joke, but soon found himself doubting the twin giants’ words. Just when the young man was about to give into despair, a star fell from the sky directly between the reflections of the two moons. The waves beneath the rafts glowed brightly as the fallen star merged with the reflections of the twin moons, causing the travelers to shield their eyes from the radiance. When they looked back, in the water was the figure of a beautiful woman with flowing silver hair and whose pale skin was scattered with delicate blue markings. Where the woman’s legs should have been, sprouted an elegant white fish tail which caused many to gasp in both fear and awe as she looked at the travelers with brilliant azure eyes.


“Are you here to help us?” Merrick asked hesitantly, almost fearful of the creature.


“yes” said the moonchild and she gave to him the glowing orb that had once been the star. “I give you my heart so that whenever your people need my aid, I shall be there.”


And so the moonchild guided Merrick and his people to the land, where she created a lake inland for them to live, and connected it to the ocean with a river so that they could harvest the fruits of the ocean. And for a time, the people were happy.

Arwynn stopped to stoke the fire once more and looked around the campfire towards Akata and Blake. “So that’s how the great city started… but it was not the wealthy capital it was known to be just yet…”
