Fantasy Crimson Yin: Forbidden Love

Storm coughed and carefully unfurled a wing, fluttering it to make sure it wasn't broken. Then he carefully unfurled and fluttered the other wing. "Wings are fine," he said. He raised his head to look around as the dust settled and then up at where he fell into the pit. "Well that's just great," he said. "And it's too narrow for me for me to fly us out of here either." @Mena

"Well we might as well just sit here until someone finds us." I suggested, sitting far away from him. I then just laid down and looked up at the different constellations in the sky. "Night time is so pretty." I mumbled to myself.

Storm lets out a frustrated sigh, trying to turn in the pit but can't because its too small so gives up and lays there instead. "So...why are you here?"

"I wanted to look at the ruins more. I guess I deserve as the saying goes, Curiosity killed the cat." I tried my best on the joke, trying to lighten the mood.' I really am terrible at jokes.' I thought, looking at him.

Kai took the finest tealeaf and brewed it. He remembered when his mother taught him how to make a perfect tea for his father. He remembered how his father took a sip slowly and at the same time enjoyed the smell of the tea. Bitter yet sweet memories...

Slowly but sure, he poured the tea into two different cups, white and black, both carved with ancient pattern.

"So
Jasper, about the abduction... I think we have to make sure that whom I saw was definitely the royal members. I have a feeling, that forest could be their meeting point since that forest is quiet solitude. Somehow, somewhen, they will come again, I'm sure. We just need to keep an eye on that place."

Kai put the cup on the table and sat down. His eyes glued on Jasper, waiting for his response.

(Btw Mena, do you mind if we kidnap you? Since you're not answering my question in the OOC chat, I try to have your attention by posting here (:'())

@Mena @eclipsehowls

(Sorry was eating a sandwich and helping mom out with chores. But anyway sure I'm up for it.)

"Aye we need to make sure they are the Yin Princess and the Crimson Prince," Jasper says as he sips his tea once Kai has filled his cup. "If we can ensure they are in fact the royal heirs then we can kidnap them both and force both the republic and the kingdom to do whatever we want to get their kingdoms back. Or better yet...," and he smirks over his teacup. "We can blame their kidnappings on the other race and create a war."

Storm lets out a sigh. "It's peaceful here. Nice and quiet and warm."

"Do you ever wonder whats out there in the world? Its a vast universe and we're grains in the sand, apon millions and millions of other sand grains." I asked him, wondering into my own thoughts. 'I wonder if there are any other people out there.' I thought as a shooting star flew in the sky.

"I don't really wonder about the universe," Storm says. "But Aero said he heard tell that you humans came from a place called Earth. It was discovered when we were trying to decipher the ancient human language on the walls before you and your friend startled us."

"Earth is our homeland but in the textbooks at home, I heard it was destroyed by a big meteor." I said. A hint of sadness escaped from my voice. I looked away from him, trying not to speak anymore.

"I don't know, people are greedy and selfish towards themselves. They don't accept different people easily, they like to be the top dog. My dad is one of them..." I sounded too bitter. "Oh sorry, nevermind." I said, a bit kinder.

"We have a village for the Dragon Sages called Sage Village. Not very original but it's easy to remember. Then again we don't have many places to remember," Storm said.

"Good one, make our hands clean and let they do the filthy job. I'll ask Akata to take charge, I'll be going as well. There are couple businesses I need to take care of in town."

Kai took his final sip, "Ah... I can smell the blood of war," and left his seat. Before he walked off, he stopped and looked back at
Jasper.

"You better take care of this place and not doing anything 'too bad' while I'm gone okay? I know you are itching to do something
mischievous, but let's be patient for awhile. You know you will get a proper job later." Kai smiled and walked back to his room.

@Yonsisac @eclipsehowls

"Oh.." there was nothing to say. 'Why did this have to happen, dad...' I thought, clinching my fist. "Um...I haven't told anyone about you guys. I promise I won't." I tried breaking the silence.

Shahe was nothing more than a blur of tawny hide ahead of her, and although Arwynn had prized herself as being swift, there is no hope in outrunning a determined mountainsaber. Arwynn was both angry and worried for her best friend, for not only was he not responding to her call, but judging by the landmarks soaring past, he was heading for the ruins.Many people believed it was haunted, others believed that it was a holy site, touched by the gods, but they all agreed on one thing; it was a place of great sorrow. The most daunting however was the strange accounts of those who had visited the site, some never returning.

Ahead, Shahe pelted through the thick undergrowth, the limp corpses of the wolves flailing helplessly at the powerful rise and fall of his limbs. The scent strengthened as the ground changed from mats of fallen leaves to a patchwork of rubble and moss. Leaping over the overgrown remains of a pillar, the beast landed in the clearing of a small cluster of the shadowed husks of what once were the homes of those forgotten. Ears twitching, he began to sniff around for the source of the scent.

Jasper raised his cup to his lips as he stared at Kai. "Don't worry your pretty scales. I'll take care of this place Kai and the prisoners within it." Watching as the Discontented Dragon Leader leaves the room, he shakes his head and continues with his tea. Without me, you wouldn't be looking at a war dragon, he thinks to himself. Jasper's lived here since he killed his mentor after being sent to the Brevun Down and training with his mentor there. This is his way to get revenge and he knows every inch of these ruins and the Afoss Wasteland. Finishing his own tea he sets it down for the slaves to take care of before retiring to his room where his personal guards are waiting for orders. @Azula Cross

"That's fine and dandy but humans seem to want us dead," Storm says. Frustrated with not being able to move, he shifts forms and is soon in his human form which gives him more room to stretch out. "What about your friend? How does she know Draconian?" Lifting his head he suddenly lets out a growl as he hears something moving up above them. "Something's here," he growled lowly.

I looked at him and froze not making a sound. 'Oh god what if its Jewel or worse...my dad. I shuttered at the thought.

Hearing the voice, Shahe trots over to the source. lowering himself into a crouch, he gingerly crawls over to the edge of the pit and sticks his head over the ledge, ears perked. Peering down at the two, his emerald eyes gaze at the girl before locking onto the two purple eyes of Storm. With that the mountainsaber rears back his head and emits a thunderous roar, stirring a flock of nearby bats, who begin fluttering past in a panic.

Hearing her friend's roar, Arwynn picks up her pace. As she nears the ruins she readies her bow.

Storm growls up at the cat as it roars when seeing him, clapping his hands over his ears. Human ears are extremely sensitive, he thinks.

I covered my ears, and sinked down to the ground. I was in a curled up ball on the floor, shaking extremely. "Where did that creature come from?!" I yelled over the roar. My ears felt like they were about to burst.

Shahe turns his head and emits a rumble in his throat as Arwynn catches up and walks towards him, "What's wrong? what have you found?" . Twitching his stubby tail, he turns his head towards the pit. Arwynn carefully looks over the edge, aiming her bow down as she does so, and is surprised to see the dust-covered forms of the two. "What are you two doing here?" she calls down with a glare.

Storm shakes his head and then hears a human voice. "Hardly any of your business," he says defensively. There goes our possible area to live in if winter gets bad, he thinks as his mind goes back to his kingdom and people.

I realised that the roaring stopped, I slowly got up."Ugh...is it just me or are there two of you?" I asked Storm. I started to sway back and forth, looking a bit pale.
