Fandom Crimson Wind: Assassin Division (Akame Ga Kill!)

Servant

Ashigara's Lightning
Story

It's been twelve years since the young emperor, Makoto, ascended to power, and with him The Prime Minister. Due to the minister's influence the emperor has made some awful decisions that terribly affected The Empire. Corrupt politicians are making life
miserable for civilians by snatching their woman and sons and killing anyone who opposes the government. They live in constant fear due to this. Many have realize this, but few decide to do something about it. A year after this a rebellion began called The Revolutionary Army. This army has decided to create small divisions, mainly composed of assassins, whose job is to kill or take prisoner an important member of the government.

There have been many successful divisions, like Night Raid, who have been able to improve the rebellion's situation, but right now things are beginning to heat up. The government is starting to double security around The Capital, making harder for the divisions to kill their targets. In response to this a new division, called Crimson Wind, has been created. The assassin simply known as Masaru has been assigned to this division. Right now the assassins that will be part of Crimson Wind are being sent from all around The Empire to Crimson Wind's base, a castle in the middle of nowhere that is located two hours away from The Capital where they will begin working soon after arrival.

Teigu (Imperial Arms)

Imperial Arms are mysterious and extremely powerful relics that only the strongest of warriors are able to wield them. Some have the appearance of equipment or weapons, while others seem to be living creatures. It is implied that a form of magic was used to create them. There's a total of 48 Teigus across The Empire, but most of them were lost. Thanks to the efforts of The Revolutionary Army many of their members own one.

While the Teigu give its user amazing powers, they are not almighty. It is stated that there is no Teigu that can bring the dead back to life. Even if a user is strong enough to use a Teigu it can still reject him, and a user's first impression of it affects their compatibility. The user of a Teigu must be compatible with the Teigu to wield it.

If two users of Teigu were to fight each other, one of them is guaranteed to die.

Your role

You will be playing one (Or various) of the army's best assassins. You are aloud to have just one Teigu which you may create yourself or choose one of the many Teigus that already are shown in Akame Ga Kill! My role is the leader one, but seeing how combat would be harder this way I will also be the enemies that you will be facing. If you wish to know something else just let me know. The assassins in here fall into three different categories:

  • Leader: He is in charge of giving the assassins their objectives to carry out. While the others go out to carry their mission the leader must stay in the base and guard it from and sudden invaders. Other than that the leader doesn't do much.
  • Second in command: He/She is in charge of taking over command if the leader is gone or out. Different from the leader the second in command is allowed to carry out a mission with the other assassins, but it's really optional since his income doesn't come from these missions.
  • Assassins: These may be the most important member of the division. Their objective, obviously, is to carry out any missions given by the leader or the second in command. They also carry a certain role in the base like the cook or the doctor. If they aren't given any mission they are allowed to rest or walk around The Capital.

MASARU

The first morning lights began to appear over the mountains, meaning the start of a new day. The lights were somehow able to filter into Masaru's bedroom, forcing him to wake up. As his eyes opened Masaru noticed how heavy his body felt, making it even harder for him to incorporate himself. He sighed loudly in frustration. Masaru remembered that today was the day the new assassins would be arriving, and thanks to this he was able to find enough motivation to finally get out of bed. "I shouldn't be here...My place is be back in the army's main headquarters getting orders, not giving them..." He thought while slowly getting changed. After placing Blink on his back he exited the room.

Seeing how Masaru arrived a couple of days before the others he was able to memorize all of the rooms in the base. Anything ranging from training grounds to secret pathways he knew exactly where they were. If Masaru had learnt something from the base it's that it was extremely gloomy. Most of the windows were broken, there was broken furniture everywhere and all the doors screeched with the smallest touch. It had been ages since somebody ever used, meaning when he first got there it was full of dust, spiderwebs and even bird nests. "At least I was able to tidy up the place...But I still have the feeling somebody is going to come out of nowhere and stab me to death" Masaru thought as he entered the kitchen, one of the only decent places in the base.

After a miserable breakfast that only consisted of two apples and some water Masaru headed to the entrance. His superiors had informed him that the new assassins had been given the base's location and were going to arrive by their own means and alone to not attract much attention. Masaru stood outside the entrance, facing the dusty road ahead of him. "For what I understand they are sending in three professional assassins, all of being in possession of an Imperial Arm. I wonder if I will be able to manage such an elite team..." As time went by none of the assassins seemed to be showing up. Masaru sighed before sitting on the ground with his legs crossed. "What were their names?....Oh, right, Kent, Chase and Hayami...I mustn't forget that..."

Hayami sighed, some guy had been following her for the past few days and she'd been hoping that he'd give up before she got too close to her destination. Apparently not though. She was only a few miles from the base now and he still hadn't given up. Probably just some poor schmuck who had seen her and decided to try and cash in on her bounty. Once again sighing she came to a stop, making an estimate of his location as he soon did the same. Dipping her fingers into the bottle she kept on her waist Hayami spun on her heel, bringing enough blood out of the bottle to form a fan of throwing knives, throwing them at her purser, trying to lure him out.

As expected, it worked. With his cover blown a large, bulky looking man charged out over the bush, a large club held high above his head. Idiot. Easily dodging out of the way of the large, sluggish weapon Hayami weaved around him, and was now facing his back. Spilling the contents of her bottle onto the ground Hayami caused most the liquid to form into a medium sized sword, and struck the man in his lower torso. Normally such a wound wouldn't be fatal, but her Imperial Arm allowed her to fix that. Her expression unchanging she caused the mans blood to erupt from the wound, only ceasing once she was sure he'd lost a fatal amount of blood.

"Well at least that's taken care of..." She remarked, in a rather annoyed tone to herself, stripping the blood off of her clothing and using it to replace the contents of her bottle, continuing on her way to the base soon afterwards.

Around an hour later she'd finally made it to her destination, spotting a man, who she assumed was 'Masaru', the guy who command had put in charge of this little shindig, waiting at the entrance. Approaching him she didn't bother to wave, or smile, or make any other attempts at pleasantries for that matter, simply getting right to the point. "You're Masaru right? Has anyone else arrived yet?" Speaking to him in a bored tone, looking him over as she did.

"It's a rather nice day...huh what am i saying I say that everyday" he chuckles at himself, walking the rather quiet and boring path he sighed. The wind blew the leaves on the tree's creating a naturally 'shh' sound Chase loved the sound but it became tiresome after hearing it so long as well as the bright sun attacking his eye's every chance it got.

Chase began to pull his sword at the slight's fault in the air, he stopped in his tracks balancing on his right leg he waited nearly a minute passes and nothing. Slowly dropping his left foot a large flying projectile launches at his upper torso nearly cutting him but he quickly dodges falling back onto the ground quickly grabbing his sword he snarls in anger. Hoping from his feat he charges for his unidentified target which seems to have disappeared but that didn't stop Chase from slashing everything from the tree's to the ground, from out of nowhere the beast strikes again.

Taking advantage of this he formlessly swing his sword behind his back splitting the creature in two then releasing the sword and reverting back to himself. Turning around he observes the beast it seemed to be giant man sized and featherless and green with wings accompanied by talons and oddly long legs but no talons but nails "Sorry big guy better luck next time" thirst for action now quenched he walked until he reached the base. He wasn't the first arrival it seemed a chick had made it there a few moment before him as well as a guy who most likely was the commander "hey I made it in good time too" he spoke enthusiastically.

Kent was already rather annoyed which was ruining this beautiful day, his one and only pair of glasses he brought with him had a crack in the left lens. The walk it's self was boring nothing of interest was happening and the sounds of the wind blowing was getting rather annoying but nothing he could do about it. He was not far from his final destination and it couldn't have gone any slower.

Kent placed on hand on his blade he began to hear the sounds of foot step one of two things either two large men walking in sync which was very unlikely, or a beast of sorts. He continued walking until he noticed he was too close to the location for his own good and he couldn't risk it anymore. He listened out for the foot steps. "Right side." He muttered to himself pinpointing the location of the beast. He placed both hands on his sword and spun to face where the beast was quickly drawing his sword and causing a crimson beam of light to cut right through his foe before it even saw the attack coming. "Better luck next time." But he didn't believe in resurrection so they would be no next time.

"Pointless" He muttered to himself before noticing how close he really was to the base he may have left it slightly to long but he didn't care it was over and done now. He walked over to where he saw the other three and he could guess which one was the leader since he was the one the farthest away from the group. "Seems I was the last." Kent said sighing he didn't really care since everyone was here now. He took a look at the other two one a girl with red hair and at first glance no weapon, the other a male white hair and a large blade. He tried to remember the names the imperial forces told him. "If i'm not correct your Chase." He said pointing towards the white haired male with the large blade. "Then you must be the one they call the Red Devil." He moved his finger towards the red haired girl. "And he must be our new commander Masaru." He said not pointing this time since it was obvious who he meant.

Even after all of the assassins had arrived Masaru still remained seated, deep in thoughts. He sighed loudly after giving each one of them a long stare. "So, I will have to command these assassins, eh? It's hard to believe that I am the youngest one..." When Masaru had received the information about them he had wished that some of the ages were written wrongly, but it didn't seem like it was the case. He studied every last drop of information about them. Everything ranging from their first days in the army to the battles they fought in he already knew. "And then there's me, the guy that's supposed to be the leader but has barely even fought anyone...Woohoo..."

Masaru finally incorporated himself, a wide grin on her face. "Hello everyone! As you may already know my name is Masaru and I will be your commander as long as you are part of Crimson Wind. I am glad to see everyone has arrived at the same time. I do hope you all had a pleasant trip..." Even if Masaru said this he knew that may not be necessarily true. He noticed how Kent's glasses were broken, how Chase's sword was covered in blood and how Hayami's blood bottle wasn't full. "Right now I will give you a small tour of the base, if you have any questions please feel free to ask them" And with that said Masaru turned around and pushed the door open.

Observing the two he noticed that they were not very menacing people, neither was he but he kept all the ugly in his teigu maybe they were the same way. He noticed a new arrival a guy so that completed the team and again not a bit of intimidation from the guy well Chase couldn't help but spawn a smirk on his face his image was far more chaotic then this think to himself he began to draw a mental picture but was cut off in mid thought by Kent who was taking role and matching names with faces.

Replying to Kent he said "Yep i'm Chase" Then awaited for someone else to speak, shortly after Masaru started to speak he seemed rather happy unlike the other two. He spoke the usual basic greeting and now was beginning the tour of the base and Chase had no questions so he just followed Masaru.

Hayami looked the other two over, who had arrive not long after her. They look like decent fighters, though 'Chase' seemed unusually upbeat for an Assassin, and Kent seemed to think he was the one in charge. Whatever. They'd learn to work together in time. Well, hopefully, they'd learn to work together in time.

Masaru wasn't giving the best first impression either, flinging sarcasm and self-deprecation around left and right, though she couldn't tell if he was joking around or really did think so little of himself. Hopefully it was the former. She didn't need to go around following the orders of some kid who didn't even think he was cut out to do his job. "Command wouldn't have picked you if they didn't think you were capable of leading us. So stop whining about it." Hayami said, throwing her own brand of ice-cold 'motivation' at him as she followed him inside. She ignored Kent's identification of her, he could use her real damn name if he wanted her to respond.

Thud... The sound echoed through the ears of Alex Rider as the body of a bandit hit the ground. He whipped his sword through the air and pulled it to a sudden stop to get the blood off it. The he dropped the head on the ground. "Damn bandits... Hey Luna you done over there?". "Of course I am dumb ass I've been waiting for you" Luna said as she sheathed her sword, The key to her teigu. The two walked on through a forest. Alex was the first to see the sun as he exited the forest. Seeing the dusty road ahead the two continued on until they had a group of people in eyes view. "Shall we play a game Alex?" Luna asked slipping on a mask. Alex just chuckled and put on a mask as well and the two pulled a full on assault on the members of Crimson Wind. Luna ran Hayami and gave her a kick to the stomach while Alex got the idea to run at Masaru and try to hit him across the face.

Hayami heard her assailant approaching, identifying her only moments before she struck, narrowly dodging out of the way, she backpedaled, gaining distance from the masked woman who had tried to get the drop on her. This one was far more experienced than the man who'd been stalking her before, being able to hide her presence from her at such a close range was a fairly impressive feat, even if her guard had been down at the time. After thinking for a moment though she gave an amused smile, a rare thing for her indeed, as she realized who these people were. "With skills like that you've got to be here for the whole Crimson Wind gig right? You should really look out on who you pick a fight with, you know what they say about Teigu users fighting don't you?" Hayami said, to the masked woman as her smile left her face, returning it to it's usual disinterested looking state.
