"You go, I have to go get some groceries. I'll be back soon" Adaria said with her usual smile and walked towards the counter to take some money since she didn't have any on her. When she was done taking the money she needed, she braided her long, blonde hair as she began to walk towards the exit of the building. The silky hair created a thick braid over her right shoulder and she pulled down her shirt as she continued to walk.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante waited for Adaria to leave to say, "Ok, you can look around, just don't touch anything. If you have any questions then ask." Dante sat down at one of the tables and laid down to fall asleep. "We gotta get some drinks around here." He said to himself, really wanting a drink. He sighed.

 

[Kiotaro]

(Cough)

Adaria left the building and headed for the store with her usual cheerful smile. On her walk, several people greeted her with a smile wich she returned almost immediately. She walked inside the store and got was she was supposed to before leaving. Some basic groceries like eggs and milk, as well as a couple of beers since the guild was like a pub afterall. Adaria skipped back towards the guild carrying five bags of groceries. They were heavy indeed, but nothing that the young guildmaster couldn't handle. She whistled a happy melody along the way.

Lex raised an eyebrow and shrugged once. "So, what exactly do you do in here?" He then asked and walked over to a small tabla where he sat down with his feet up on the other chair and his arms crossed over his chest. As he took a look around, he noticed a chalkboard in one of the corners. Some paper sheets that looked like some wizard jobs were hanging on the edge as well as some things that were written in chalk. Something he couldn't quite see from here, but he decided to leave it for the moment and sighed once before turning back to Dante.

 

[Kiotaro]

((Haha it's fine.))


Dante replied to Lex's question, "Well we just fix up the building or occasionally do a job if we get any. That's how new we are." He closed his eyes because he was a little tired. He didnt get much sleep because he has nightmares about his family. He just stayed there not moving at all.

 

[offbeat]

Lex raised an eyebrow towards the man. "You're really that new? You seem to be an old yet quite charming guild, atleast from what I have seen" Lex closed his eyes as well and sank down in the seat. For a moment, it was completely silent. Not even the birds outside could be heard. But then, everything burst out. Every crow shrieked unlike any other. The eyes of the grey haired boy flung open and stared out the window.

Adaria stopped outside the guild when she heard the birds call. Once she saw them fly across the sky, the small area fell into the shadows of black crows. "That's strange.." She mumbled quietly with a frown on her face before returning to her happy self and entering the building where she found the two men spread across a table each. "I'm back!" She exclaimed cheerfully.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante's eyes shot open when he heard the birds. He knew something was up. When he saw Adaria enter he said to her, "Did you see anyone near the guild hall? I think something is up." He walked over to her and grabbed the groceries from her hands and put them on the counter. He saw beer and took out a bottle. He popped off the top with his hands and started to drink some beer.

 

[offbeat]

"I did not see anyone, but I do have a guess on who it might have been. I haven't gotten such a strange feeling in a long time. The magic from the birds seemed so.. So.. Evil" Adaria said and bowed once to thank Dante for taking the groceries. She as well walked after him and took a bottle of beer before sitting down on the wooden table with her legs crossed over eachother.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante walked over to Lex and grabbed his collar saying, "Are you a traitor? I will rip your body to pieces." He started to scream at Lex, so angry he didn't know if he should kill him or if they should torture him.

Lex closed his eyes again and within seconds, he was in unintentionally standing up with a pair of hands grasping the collar of his shirt. For a moment he just stood there with a hint of panic in his eyes before actually placing his hands on the wrist of the demonlike creauture in an attempt to free himself, wich he failed with. The metall armor around the other mans hand was too strong, and even the man himself was too strong for Lex to battle in hand to hand combat. Lex relaxed his arms and let them fall to his side as he took a nervous breath.

Adarias eyes widened when Dante transformed to his demon form and went to attack Lex. She had never seen this form of him up close, just in the distance. If she was to be honest, she would actually be scared, terrified. But nothing that a mage like her would care to admit. With fast steps, she ran over to the two men to stop the fight. Gracefully she crawled inbetween them with her back against Lex, facing Dante. She put her hands on the chestpiece of his armor and with help of her wind magic, she pushed him back a couple of yards. "Get a hold of yourself." She said, kind of angered wich she rarely was. Strong and firm steps from her when she walked over to Dante. "This man is now our guildmate. I don't want to remind you that in this guild, we don't hurt our comrades." She muttered and spinned around to walk away from him and towards where the bags of groceries still stood.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante was pushed a few yards, tearing up the floor. He quickly replied to Adaria, "How do we know that he is a guildmate? He could be a spy for a dark guild! How do we know for sure?" He was slightly angered and his hands started to ignite through sheer emotion. He transformed back to normal and summoned his sword, leaning on it, watching Lex carefully. "You better watch yourself, kid." He said angrily. He didn't want to attack Lex because he wanted to stay in the guild.

 

[offbeat]

"Do you remember a second ago when I said that I sensed a strange magic? Well, it's not coming from Lex. It was someone else who's now long gone. He or she left just as the crows fell silent. " Adaria said and turned towards Dante again allthough this time, putting a hand on her hip and swinging her blonde hair over her shoulders. With another spin, she turned towards the groceries and began to unpack them. All the things that were supposed to be in the fridge was now warm as the summer sun. Adaria sighed once and stuffed everything in drawers and cupboards here and there.

Meanwhile, Lex stood behind the guildmaster and carefulky watched the two arguing. He didn't particularily dare to step into their conversation until they were silent for a while. "If I were the bad guy, don't you think that I would already have begun attacking you?" He said silently and sat down on the bench again with his arms over the back and his head leaned backwards a little bit.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante looked at Lex angrily. He said to him, "I said you could be a spy. And if you even tried to attack, I could kill you faster than you could scream 'help'". Dante stared at him and sat down in front of him, across the table. He watched him carefully. He crossed his arms and continued to look at him.

 

[offbeat]

Lex raised an eyebrow towards the man. Since he couldn't quite figure out what to reply with, he remained silent for another couple of minutes. "How can you prove that you're not a spy yourself?" He then said and looked down on the wooden floor in order to avoid eye contact. 
(Sorry, I'll be going to sleep, it's really late at night where I live)

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante cocked his head and squinted his eyes. He replied, "Why would the first member of a guild, be a spy, I joined this guild when nobody even knew about it." He looked at him for another second and got up to help Adaria. He said to her, "I'm sorry for my foolish actions, you can never be too sure that someone is a good person." He grabbed a beer and started to drink it next to Adaria.

"I don't know, maybe you do have some odd reasons?" Lex muttred and leaned back a little more on the bench, if that was possible that is. Something told him that they wouldn't exactly get along that well. Not that it mattred to him anyways.

Adaria turned her head towards Dante. "It's all about trust you see. You can never know what everyone is up to, but you just have to trust that they won't choose the wrong path." She said with a smile. "Besides, it's in the past now." The now happier woman jumped up on the high table where she sat down with her legs dangling off the edge. Not that she was extremely short, but the table was so high that her legs barely reached halfway down to the flopr. A light giggle could be heard when the guildmaster realised this.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante looked at Lex again, squinting his eyes. He said to him, "Do you want to fight me?" He heard what Adaria said, but he ignored it. He was excited that a fight might start because he hasn't fought in a long time.

 

[offbeat]

Lex glared at Dante for a moment before sighing heavily. "Didn't you just say that if I were to attack anyone here, you would kill me?" The man now stood up from the bench with his hands in the pockets of his pants and his head slightly tilted to his right. In one of the pockets, a pack of cigarettes was found. But one of the cigarettes was unlike the others, it had a silver coat around it that made it stand out from the others. Indeed it was not an ordinary cigarette, it was the source of his command magic. The smoke magic of his came naturally to him, without help. Lex held the package tight in his grip and raised an eyebrow towards Dante in order to carefully watch his every move.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante summoned his guns and put them in his holsters on his legs and put his sword on his back. "No. I was asking if YOU wanted to TRY to fight me." He finally summoned his gauntlets and lit them on fire. "How about we go a round. Or two if you're that lucky. But lets take this outside." Dante walked outside turning his back on Lex knowing he wouldn't attack from behind inside the guild hall.

 

[offbeat]

Lex smirked a little as he as well walked outside. He took out the silvery cigarette and lit it while placing it between his parted lips. He wasn't sure about how strong Dante was. Sure his physical strength was increddible but about his magic, Lex knew nothing about. So instead of failing miserably, he decided to go with full strength. When the silver cylinder was placed inbetween his lips, he immediately felt the strength filling his whole body. This resulted in a wide grin on his dry lips and his eyes turning a little bit of glowing yellow. Lex stopped by a pillar just outside the guild and crossed his arms over his chest.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante looked at Lex, excited. Dante decided to go half strength. Like usual. He almost never uses his full strength. When they both stopped, he said, "Ok. Rules are, no killing. That's it. I know I said I would kill you but I'm feeling merciful today." He stayed there with his gauntlets on fire, waiting for Lex to make his first move.

 

[offbeat]

((Sorry, had some kind of mental breakdown))


Lex waited for a moment. During the years, he had learned that the one to attack first was the one that was doomed to loose. Not in all cases but most of the time, they did loose. His pale hands was still in his pockets when he puffed out a small cloud of grey smoke that eventually re-shaped itself to a ring and faded away into the sky. After another moment, he turned his face towards Dante again, waiting if he would make the first move or not.

 

[Kiotaro]

((Lol wut? You ok?))


Dante waited for another moment then said, "What is this? An intense staring contest or a fight? C'mon move it rook!" He waited fr another moment and decided to make the first move. "Fine I see." He lit his hand on fire and sent a giant flamethrower straight at Lex.

 

[offbeat]

((Hahah I'm fine))


Lex gracefully dodged the flame that flew past him. With his right hand, he used his command magic to re-direct the flames back at Dante. His other hand was still in his pocket. "I might be a rookie, but atleast I'm not a moron with a high temper, like you." He said matter-of-factly, quite silently as well.

 

[Kiotaro]

Dante got a little angry at that commer made by Lex. He transformed into the same demon as before and the flames just hit his armor and the flames dissipitated. He jumped up to fifty feet in the air and started falling directly above Lex. He was going to smash him into the ground.
