Fantasy Crimson Lotus - We take what is ours (Always open)

After contemplating her choices, she looked bluntly towards the see. Yes....The answer was right before her, too obvious for her to have guessed. The sea. She could easily swim away from the pirates. Maybe not easily as her hands were tied, but it was worth a try. Nearby her, there were a few blunt rocks and, in an attempt to snap the rope, she rubbed her wrists against it. The heat in the friction burnt at her wrists, but she wanted to continue until the ropes had fallen from her wrists. There was more of a chance that she would chew off her arm than be able to slice through the thick and bristly rope confinement.

With the rock held between her feet, she doubled over to continue her attempts. The familiar aroma of subtle burning filled her nostrils and she sharply exhaled, the friction prickled sudden shots of heat at her flesh. In her attempts, she was very careful as to not be seen. A few threads of the rope twanged as they broke, but her method wasn't very effective. The rope was too thick, the stone too blunt. She just had to make do with what she had.

I was gone tell you the next time I see you. Which is now so... I'm a pirate. The Master Gunner on the Crimson Lotus. He said plainly. Since hevwas still looking at the girl. He watched as she swam towards a rock and tried cutting the ropes. He shook his head. She'll only burn herself if this keeps up. He thought to himself.

He walks towards the see and white fox fire started to flow off of him. His fox fire took the form of lightning this time. He jumped towards Opal landing on the rock perfectly.
I told you not to run. He said as he looked down towards her. He held his right hand up as the white lightning surges on his hands. So do you want to stay in the water or get out? He said calmly only using the lightning as an intimidation factor @xxbetaspiritxx@Kazehana

Opal was only up to her shins in water, so it didn't matter too much when the pirate attempted to help her out. Even so, she wouldn't have taken his hand due to the lightening sparking out of it. "I promise you I will stop running if you untie me! I feel like some sort of a dog...A piece of property if you will. Besides, I wasn't running, I was walking through the water." She sniffed. Frowning as she looked up at him, the sun reflected into her eyes so she could only see a dark silhouette. Climbing onto the rock difficultly, she sighed. "Can we at least go somewhere remotely interesting? I don't mean to be rude at all but we aren't even doing anything. I'm extremely bored." She stated with a sarcastic smile. Her smile however didn't seem sarcastic or rude, neither did she. It wasn't in her nature to be rude or intimidating, she just could t be, despite how much she tried.

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos flew over to the rock, landing beside Koziak. Cocking his head, he looked up at him, then back at the girl. Why was he doing this, exactly? Chronos didn't know. But he didn't understand a lot of what humans did. Though his friend wasn't exactly human. Perhaps that was why Chronos liked him so much. He shifted uncomfortably. What if, since he was a pirate, he would somehow lead to Chronos being bound to do the bidding of others? How horrible that must be. He shook his head, clearing the thought. Koziak wouldn't do that to him... right?

Staring at the girl, he had to ask, "Why do these pirates want you? And why do they feel the need to restrain you?" he asked in avian tongue. He knew that people were restrained if they were criminals of some sort, but she didn't seem like the type. He didn't exactly want to be a stagnant bystander, but how could he help?

Koziak fox fire fades away as he sighs about the girl asking to be free. She was right about one think she didn't run she walked. He pulled out his short katana blade. Don't move. He said before he cuts through the ropes freeing her. He sheathed his sword and as his friend landed on his shoulder he scratches him on his neck. Where would you like to go? He said while still scratching Chronos. @Kazehana @xxbetaspiritxx

" I know as much as you do," opal replied in the same language. "All I know is that I was sun bathing one minute, then being chased by wicked people the next. Something to do with my parents, but I can't quite understand why I have been captured." Of course she knew the base of her imprisonment. She was the princess, despite not telling others this. When she told fellow acquaintances about this, they had usually began to treat her differently, and she didn't appreciate it. Peering at the bird with wide eyes, she sighed, attempting to break the ropes once again. They were very limiting and she couldn't move eddies fly with them clawing at her wrists.

As Koziac releases her from the rope, she smiled gratefully with a content sigh. "I'm not sure. Surprise me." She mumbled whilst rubbing her wrists where they had grown red. Though, she wasn't going to complain. At least Koziac had released her from the horrible trap. And, she never broke promises, so running wasn't part of her plan. Nor was being tied up again, so she just decided to be obedient. For now anyway.

"Let her run until the storm hits us. I want to close what ever distance they got on us while we sat here." he said as he made his way to his cabin to write in today's earnings in his ledger. "And make sure the cannons are ready, we might need to be using them soon." That done, he goes into his cabin and quickly scribbled in the amount the spices got him as well as the other trade goods for future reference and went back out to oversee the loading of supplies. But as he left his cabin, he quickly grabbed a passing crew member and told him to "Get the lazy petches that took their leave off ship. Remember, twenty minutes." before letting him go.

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos tilted his head in a way that could be considered the avian frown. "That doesn't make much sense. Though humans do tend to lack that kind of logic..." he replied, then shook himself. He couldn't be expressing his opinions like this. It was unprofessional. As for where they went, his eyes widened and he whispered in Koziak's ear. "We could fly somewhere, though it's a bit against my code," he breathed. It would be nice to do something fun with his friend for a change. Besides, he could break a rule or two every once and a while, right?

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos glanced at him, then at the sky. "You know why I set my rules the way I do. We can't have environmental catastrophe, can we? But a little artificial flight won't hurt much," he explained, looking back at Koziak. "Besides, I know you want to," he finished, nuzzling his head into Koziak's face. To carry two might be a challenge, but he was willing to step up to the plate to have fun today. His week left him wound up and stressed, so an outing with his old friend and his new friend seemed irresistible.

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos blinked, then cocked his head. "Where to?" he asked, hopping to the ground. There wasn't any technical reason to prepare, but he just needed to mentally prepare himself. It had been a while since he last used this technique, and he didn't want anything to go wrong. If it did, he might accidentally drop someone, which he definitely didn't want to do. The destination, on another note, didn't much matter to him. He didn't have anywhere in particular he had to go. However, he did hope for somewhere interesting, mainly since he's been in the city all day.

Nathaniel Sullivan ~ Sea's Treasure, Port of Grazaa

"Ay Cap'n!", he saluted. He took no time in making his way up to the Gaff's of the side sails, tying off the gaskets and letting the wings open loosely, swinging in the wind. It'd be too much of a risk to the ribbing to open the main sails before they were ready to set off so he simply loosened the knots of its gasket allowing them to be opened in a moments notice. Nathaniel slid down the mast and hit the deck with both feet and threw a length of cord to one of the men scrambling on deck.

"Make sure that jib is nice and tight! We want 'a cut through this wind like butter ya hear?!"

Grabbing a piece of the bracer as the men were preparing to swing the yards port-side, pointing the sails seaward. This would allow a smooth exit from the mouth of the port if the winds didn't blow them off course first.

"HEAVE!!", someone yelled as the men pulled with all their might until the creaking masts relented and allowed themselves to be maneuvered to face the crashing waves. Everyone went to work tying down the bracers to the ship making sure they wouldn't undo their hard work.

"Aye! Now everyone grab a yard and wait for the captain's order!!" Nathaniel hollered to his crew mates and helped tie off the ends of the bracing to the ship.

Koziak didn't have a clue where to go to so he thought for the first view he wanted to see the city from a birds eye view. First fly us over the city then take off to a different location surprising us. He told Chronos. @Kazehana @xxbetaspiritxx

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos nodded and hovered a bit about the height of the other two, scanning around to look for a fun place to go. Though from this angle, he wasn't sure he could see anything. By now, he felt like he should know the topography of the region, but he was drawing a blank at the moment. "Grab a claw when you're ready," he said, still trying to remember somewhere to go. He would need to figure it out quickly when up in the air since he couldn't exactly hold them forever due to his indecision.

Desani Petrova

Grazza; in barrel

Maybe it was the smell of saltwater, or the fact that she internally did not want to die yet. The fact that she hasn't died of blood loss suprised her. The heat didn't help the situation either. Desani still wondered if she was still being looked for. She touched her wound, she could feel the old, dry crusted blood, while more continued to leak out. She weakly slid the barrel lid off the barrel, beads of sweat were starting to form on her arms and body. Desani felt weak as she stood weakly, leaning on the barrel for support, she hopped out of the barrel and instantly caught herself from falling, catching herself by leaning on the brick wall, she quickly looked around before sliding along he wall into a shady ally, she slide down and sat on the rather cool ground from the shade. Her arms lay weakly at her side as did her legs lay weakly out as well, as the ally was hidden well, but yet she could still feel the warm sun beaming on her now from above.

Desani lay there eyes closed. She'd get up soon...

Opal squealed in discomfort when Koziac grabbed her so roughly. However, she didn't say much more on the matter in fear of being treated disrespectfully. With a simple not, she signalled she was ready to go. Being afraid of heights, she prepared herself. Well, she thought she was afraid of heights anyway. Allowing her arms to snake around Koziac's chest, she gripped onto the back of his shirt and buried her head into his chest. Her thoughts were that if she looked either up or down as they flew, she would began to feel nauseous. She didn't want that.

@Embaga Elder @Kazehana

Koziak felt Opal's hands wrap around him, grabbing the back of his shirt. She pulled a little bit of fur, and he gave off a grunt. He first started to glare at her but he saw her buring her head in his chest. She must have a thing with heights. He thought to himself. He held Opal even tighter so she won't fall. He looks up at Chronos. Alright buddy takes on a flight, but take it easy. He looked at Opal. @Kazehana @xxbetaspiritxx

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos' head twitched in acknowledgement, but he didn't make any promises. As he flapped his wings with great force, aided by the updraft of wind alleviating some of the weight, he was able to take off, though not as fast as when he flew alone. After a few moments, he grew accustomed to the method, and climbed into the sky at an increasing pace. Once they were high enough, he glided over the city, his passengers easily carried with him. "Where to, Koziak?" he asked, glancing down to make sure he hadn't dropped Opal or something dumb like that.

@Embaga Elder @xxbetaspiritxx

Opal let out a small whimper as they were lifted into the air. The force of air resistance and gravity caused her to cling even more tightly on Koziak in fear of plummeting to the floor. She kept her face buried in his shirt, feeling the force of Chronos' wings from under him. Every now and again she would squeal, her eyelids tightly pressed shut. "Are we there yet?" She stifled, her hair flapping around her shoulders and waist wildly.

@Kazehana @Embaga Elder

As he glided above the city thanks to Chorosu he spots a female within a an ally. She looked as if she was pasted out like Opal. His enhanced sight came in and he saw the blood on her clothes. He then felt Opal's grabbing on tighter. Koziak wasn't sure on what to do but he figured out a destination. There, head towards that ally. I see someone. He pointed in the direction of the girl Desani. Even though Koziak was a pirate he couldn't help from falling into his old habits. @Kazehana @xxbetaspiritxx @DarknessSpirit

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos craned his neck to see where Koziak was pointing, then tilted his wings to veer off in the new direction. As he did, they picked up some speed, diving back to the ground with great velocity. Once near the ground, he leveled off and beat his wings forward to stop the momentum brought about by such weight. After he finished, he flew to Koziak's shoulder, grateful for some rest after that. Two people might be a bit much. One was good enough for him. At least now he knew. Settling in, he plopped his body down, still holding on with his talons of course. He had missed being able to do this with his dear friend.
