Fantasy Crimson Lotus - We take what is ours (Always open)

Opal nodded, ignoring Desani's questions. Upon her request to Yostro to leave, she simply sighed. "I'm sure it's okay, we will be relieving him from a burden. All will be fine, Desani. And as for you, young man, thank you greatly. I will make sure to reward you handsomely if you wish, for all your efforts." Yes, she didn't care for money, but that man was a pirate, and they adored riches....no? Even so, she allowed Desani's weight to balance on her despite the girl being a lot taller, but not necessarily heavier. Stifling for breath as she dragged her taller friend along, she rubbed the beads of sweat appearing on her own forehead. The blood from Desani's side was dripping onto Opal, and looked almost as if she had been hit too.

There was a lot of blood, and it seemed as though Desani was losing it quickly. "Damn it." Opal cursed with a slight whimper escaping her plump lips. Her knowledge of first aid was lacking, and she was getting tired from pulling her friend around. "Des, we are going to have to pause and rest....." She stopped talking to stop and regain her breath at a normal rate before slowly beginning to pad along again. "It's so hot, and I can't drag you around like this..."

Walking

Desani sighed as she nodded. She knew what had to be done. They weren't nearly as far as they would be if they ran. And the bullet was slowing them both down. She pulled out her silver dagger and handed it to Opal. "Keep on running until you can't see the ships. He won't stop searching." Desani knew why Opal was here, after the captain freaking out about her getting away, she could put two and two together. Her voice was serious and rushed, but she put on a slight smile and whispered "They won't find me in barrels" she hugged Opal quickly. She would have a much better chance of escaping if she were to start running now.

Smiling a little, Desani leaned against the back ally wall, and leaned her weight on it as she grabbed herself along, going around a corner and out of Opals sight. There she found a huge stack of barrels. She clenched her teeth in pain as she slid herself in one, peaking out a small little crack to make sure she wasnt followed.

Opal reluctantly nodded, seizing the silver dagger, the silver handle and blade matching her piercings. With a ginger turn, she ran, obeying Desani. She ran where her feet took her, past the ships and down many streets. The sun was at its highest temperature of the day, with its position in the sky, she could tell it was around 3/4 o'clock. Oblivious to where the pirates now were, she smiled smugly to herself, thinking she were rid of them. Her thoughts soon shifted to Des and she frowned with a childish pout; she knew she had hid, and probably wouldn't be found, but there was still a chance she would be.

Opal continued to run both physically and mentally. Running so far, the ships began to fade, as did her thoughts. Soon enough, she had found herself on the far side of the beach, the ships but the size of a few grapes. She couldn't run anymore, she was exhausted. In her state, she collapsed onto her knees, soon falling forwards onto her stomach. The sand crunched onto her skin as she lay there, eyes closed. Her knees were partially bent, and her arms were limply laying beside her head. One side of her face was dug into the sand, it having stuck onto that side of her face as she lay on top of it. Her hair was sprawled around her back, curtaining her face from the view of others. An unnoticeable difference was the stiff dryness in her throat. However, what was noticeable, and very obvious, was that she had passed out from exhaustion, dehydration and maybe even heat stroke.

Desani felt the heat getting to her wound. A small tear leaked from her brown hazel eyes. She hit her lips and clenched her eyes. She could feel her mind clouding up. She knew if she didn't get medical help soon she die from the blood loss.

Desani screamed into her dress, muffling it yet it could still be heard. Only out of frustration and anger and the helplessness to do anything. Out of exustion and blood loss, Desani blacked out.

Getting half way drunk is one thing, but having a hangover in mere seconds is not natural. But for vampires, its common; alcohol only last up to at least an hour in a vampire. Vampires do however can get highly drunk even from a gallon of blood, basically the thing that you drink gets you tipsy. Its kind of weird, but the more people think about it, the more people come to bare and understand it. Saki groaned, feeling the full impact of a hangover is not fun. But then again, losing her temper in the first place in front of her comrades is not very professional.

She sat on the ground, watching the destroyed building burst into flames. 'Probably a lantern caught the rubble onto fire.' Saki thought, smelling the burning alcohol in the air. "Soooo how long was I drunk for this time?" Saki asked both Edward and Kala. Saki watched as an Idiot, moved out of the pile; looking at them. That same idiot then challenged them to a duel, at Saki bursted into a fit of laughter. 'What an idiot, to challenge HER crew; not to mention some of the strongest people at that.' Saki thought as she watched the strange boy.

Timone | Grazaa Islands Port (On board the Bloodied Roses ship)

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_02/57a8c7f960bfe_Dockedships.jpg.25758d2708ad427e8039209c43109880.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="107350" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_02/57a8c7f960bfe_Dockedships.jpg.25758d2708ad427e8039209c43109880.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

One could say that Timone was too excited about the storm. He loved the way the clouds turned colors, he absolutely adored thunder and lightening. Now rain, that is a different story. Timone could live in the rain, he would be the happiest pirate to sail the sea if it rained everyday. Sure the work on the ship to maintain speeds, and to keep the masts steady would rise tenfold, but Timone would gladly take on that job. After placing the barrel down bellow on the orlop, he quickly returned to the ships bow in order to watch the shift in weather. Just as he tread up the stairs and opened the door, Timone caught the sight of a fiery ball. It threw him off guard a bit, he had never actually seen a shooting star fall so close to the ground before. "That be th' oddest thin' now ye see." He mumbled to himself. The burly pirate wasn't sure as to if this was a good omen or not, either way, he thought he'd better make a wish before the magic ran out. He saluted to the sky, "This old salt wishes here be one hell of a storm, aye!"

Timone wished he could stay on board, but he knew for a fact that the supplies pile would be up for grabs, and if his wish came true he would need
a lot more rope and cable to hold down the old fort. He turned and sauntered back towards the plank, declining very ungracefully, and walked back towards the pile of "free" goodies. "C'mer to me ye, this crew be puttin' ye to good use, ya hear?" He grabbed for the closest barrel, and hoisted it up. He headed back to the ship with the totally not stolen supplies.

Grazaa port, Sea's Treasure.

Buras awkwardly made his way back to his ship. Awkwardly simply because if the large amount of cash that he was carrying in front of him. Both of the chests of gold that he had gotten for the slices were being held firmly in front of him, and a majority of the silver from the other trades were festooned about the rest of him. His quarter master was there, acting as a guard to he the snot out of anyone who thought about stealin from him as well as a couple other crew members. But they were not needed, for soon his ship was in sight. "Get ready to set sail lads!" he shouts as he draws closer. "We got ourselves a job, and the best paying one at that. Makliev, put these in the strong box." he said as he lugged the heavy load into the hands of the quarter master, piling the bags on as well. "You got 20 minutes while supplies are loaded. I want to get underway as soon as possible." He would catch his target, that was a garuntee. The Sea's Treasure was the fastest ship on these seas thanks to those sails that could be folded out for the added speed. And even if their prey tried to escape by heading into the wind, he could order the lads to stow the sails and out oars. There would be no escaping him once you were in his sights. It's just finding then that was always the problem.

Yeah it would be fun, but sadly I must go. He said speaking aloud. he grabbed his rum finished the glass. He stands up and jumps out the destroyed bar and landed behind Saki and her group. One he landed he continued walking down the raid streets of Grazza, with his hands in his pockets.

As walked down the streets he managed to walk towards the direction of the beach where he saw a passed out Opal.
Lemme guess, this is the girl we had to capture. I'm guessing she pasted out do to heat stroke, or dehydration. She must've been running for hours. He chuckles and walks over towards her. he squats down in front of her. Poor kid. He walks off, heading for a barrel on the street. Luckily the barrel was filled with fresh water. He grabs the barrel taking towards the passed out Opal and pours some one her. @xxbetaspiritxx

@xxbetaspiritxx[/URL]
Opal didn't wake, but grumbled in annoyance, the fresh water having dripped onto her face and caused the sand to stick onto her skin even more than it already had. With an irritated groan, she turned around onto her back and continued to lay down, the dagger still gripped tightly in her grasp. Sub consciously, she pulled it closer to her stomach, it still in its protective casing.

She sighed contently after a few moments, the water having cooled her down from the scorching sun. "Des?" Opal slurred, rubbing her sandy hands onto her eyes tiredly. Oblivious to the man in front of her, she twisted around in a stretch, before falling silent once more. Pouting, she brought her hands to cross over her chest.

Koziak looked down towards the dagger. Aww that's cute she wants to protect herself. He thought. When she moved around stretching and wiping her eyes and what not, he sighed. No my names isn't Des child, its Koziak. Now get up. he demanded while he pours more water on her. @xxbetaspiritxx

Opal spluttered as she began to wake, the water causing her eyesight to smear lightly. She abruptly stood, unsheathing the knife and pointing it in random directions as she attempted to clear her eyesight. Why was he being so demanding? She couldn't quite grasp why. After a few moments, her eyesight was crystal clear, and she stared at the man in front of her. "I am no child. I am 18 years old. Technically, I am an adult, so don't look down on me like that if you'll please." She pouted, more disappointed then angered. Keeping the knife pointed towards him she shook her head. "I really don't wish to hurt you, so please don't step any further." Her voice was soft, calm and innocent as she spoke.

@Embaga Elder

Koziak kept a calm facial expression, when she stood up. But when he saw her pointing her dagger in a totally different direction he laughed. She couldn't see probably because of the water. When her sight came through she just stared at him. then went onabout not being a child. Koziak couldn't help but chuckle. You will always be a child to me. When you become older than me then you won't be a child. But until then drink this child. He toss the barrel of fresh water towards Opal. The barrel had water in it that matched two full water bottles. Oh and if you're trying to hurt me. Don't do it with a blade. It'll only end bad for you. @xxbetaspiritxx

Opal strained her eyes to just stare at him, before looking down at the barrel. Gratefully, she nodded, scooping the luke warm liquid into her cupped hands and quickly slurping it. After many handfuls, she felt replenished as well as refreshed and smugly smiled. "Thank you." She mumbled softly, wiping the drops of water stuck to her lips like morning dew. Then, she cocked an eyebrow. "Why are you helping me? I don't understand..." She questioned. The only likely reason that he would want to help was....But if he was, that meant she was in danger once again. "You're a pirate?" Opal asked. He had told her not to use her blade, so she obeyed like the obedient young girl she was. It lay limply in her grasp, along with her arm that was calmly positioned at the side of her hip.

@Embaga Elder

He places his hands in his pocket. I'm helping you because you needed water. I don't like having my female prisoners uncomfortable. He said calmly as he looked at the ocean. Oh and yeah I'm with the Crimson Lotus. @xxbetaspiritxx

"Prisoner?" She repeated with a deep frown. So word had gone around about her upon the Crimson Lotus. "I'm sorry but that particular name isn't familiar with me, would you care to explain?" She looked him up and down with a hardening state. If necessary, she would attempt to run. But that was only if it were necessary. Of course, within this man's presence she felt uneasy. After a few moments hesitation, she spoke up again, her bare feet limply placed on the now damp sand. "May I ask what your name is?" She questioned, a hand placed on her hip as she talked. Her intimidating and menacing approach really wasn't working, so she went back to being soft and gentle. At least he wasn't tying her, or dragging her anywhere. At least then she had some means of escape. At least that meant some pirates had consideration for others.

Chronos - Grazaa

With a glance at the sky, Chronos contemplated what he should be doing. He wasn't sure if there was somewhere that he needed to be, which unsettled him. But this town seemed to have at least some stuff going on, so he ignored his nagging suspicion. He shook his head, then decided to fly around. Retracting his flames, he soared above the village, looking for an interesting situation to observe. After a short time, he found the lady from earlier, one he forgot about somehow. Flying down, he swooped gracefully down to the side, trying to figure out what was going on.

"And what's going on here?" he asked Opal in his native tongue. No need to allow anyone else to hear what he had to say, so her ability came in handy. Looking between them, he vaguely thought he knew who the man was, but he couldn't put his finger on it. It felt like they may have crossed paths a long time ago, but he couldn't be sure.

Koziak ignored her question previous question about who the crimson lotus was. He turned when he heard the sounds of a birds wing flapping come to a stop near him. When he turned he say his old friend Chronos. He smiles and nods towards the phoenix. My name is Koziak. He reaches into his pockets and pulls out some rope. Please don't try and fight this. He reaches for Opal's hands and tries to tie them together in front of her. If completed the rope is tied tightly and the knot is really complex and hard to untie. @xxbetaspiritxx @Kazehana

"Being held hostage," she muttered to the Phoenix, mimicking his native language. If Koziac heard, he most definately wouldn't understand. When she began being tied up, she thrust her wrists away. However, the man's grip was too tight and soon enough her hands hand been tied. Sure, she could still run. With an icy glare, she scowled at the pirate in front of her, majorly irritated by his actions.

Once turning back to the beautiful bird, she began to speak in his language once again. "May you please help me to untie these ropes?" She questioned, tugging at her wrists that were rubbing against one another. After a few moments of waiting impatiently, she brought her roped hands to rest against her stomach and began to talk to the pirate. "Is tying me up really necessary? A simple 'please do not run' would've been fine."

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos tilted his head. The man's name was familiar, a bit too familiar. His biggest issue was that he could not remember when they had met. So much had happened since he last saw this man that he hadn't the foggiest idea of why he knew him. It was on the tip of his tongue, just ready to be recalled, but to no avail.

Then he tilted his head the other direction. "You do realize I am a bird, correct?" he responded, not sure how he could help even if he wanted to. To be candid, he didn't like to get in the middle of human affairs, mainly because he knew it wasn't any of his business. Opal seemed nice, but he felt a tug of loyalty for Koziak. In his indecision, he couldn't bring himself to either try to help her or to just leave them to their business.

Koziak looked at the girl as she talked to the bird in his native tongue. As they do that he yawns and stretches his arms into the air. Opal seem to have some type of relationship with Chronos but it possibly couldn't be as strong as theirs. When she turned back she had her tied up hands on her stomach as if she gave up messing with them. Please do not run. He said plainly as if saying it would actually make a difference. He looks at Chronos and speaks. Soo old buddy what brings you here? I hope I wouldn't have to save your life again. @Kazehana @xxbetaspiritxx

"Yes, but you have talons and a sharp beak, correct?" She retorted back to his statement about being a bird. With a frown, she raised her gaze to Koziac. "I shall not promise anything." Opal half snarled, half stated. If the two were to engage in conversation, she would attempt to escape, that she had promised herself. Her legs were still tired, however, so she plopped herself down onto the sand, sitting down with a childish pout and expression. At least the suns Rays were beginning to decrease rather than increase to an unbearable heat. Ignoring the two, she clambered up to her feet and walked closer towards the sea bed.

Once close enough, she allowed the waves to lap at her ankles in a relaxing manner. Minuscule fish bobbed above her small feet as she just watched the horizon. After a few moments hesitation, she contemplated on how to escape, if she even could escape. But it wouldn't be right away.

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos looked back at him, instantly remembering. He was the only man Chronos had been indebted to after all. "I'm here on my rounds," he responded, figuring Koziak's language would suffice for conversation. "It just so happens that interesting events were taking place, so I decided to stay for a while," he finished, lifting off the ground with slow flaps of his wings. He was mostly just waiting for Koziak to lift his arm so he could perch himself on his forearm. It was nice to finally reconvene with someone who didn't tick him off or pester him about the weather.

Looking at Opal, he wasn't sure how to handle the situation even more. The last time he had seen Koziak, he wasn't a pirate, so he wasn't versed in their ethics. Though Chronos was well aware of how human confines felt, so he could relate to Opal a bit more than the pirate life. That being said, he wasn't about to blatantly go against Koziak because he liked the man.

Nathaniel Sullivan ~ Port of Grazaa on Sea's Treasure

The arrival of the captain on ship snapped Nathaniel out of his dream-like trace. He quickly slipped his journal and utensil back in their rightful place and scampered down the shroud onto the main deck. He ran to catch up to the Captain and reported back, "Sir! The winds have been changin' all mornin' and I fear there's a storm brewing, shall I open the main sails or let the beast run free?" this was, of course, speak for unleashing all the sails or only the ones that would allow for the most control. But by the fire burning in his eyes it looked like the captain was out for blood and nothing could deter him from his path, not even Mother Nature. Nathaniel knew better than to stand in his way.

Chronos - Grazaa

Chronos looked at her, then back at him. "I just met her to be honest. But she seems okay, and she can actually speak my language, which is nice for a change. I only know her name aside from that," he replied. "When were you going to inform me that you were a pirate now?" he asked, a glint of amusement in his eye. He, of course, wasn't going to judge Koziak for his newfound profession. In fact, it didn't really surprise him that the fox would. To be honest, Chronos understood since he loved shiny objects as well. But not enough to live around humans all the time. If he could, however, he would have loved to spend more time with his friend.
