    Paris, France-1963. France is emerging from World War ll, rebuilding the country.
    
    The Catholic church, Chapelle du Saint-Esprit, has taken over. The citizens of Paris have tried to rebel numerous times, tragically failing each and every time. Everyone is forced to go to The Church, every Sunday, Saturday, and Friday, to confess their sins. It didn't matter if you weren't Catholic, they didn't care. You would be given tranquilizers, keeping you calm so you didn't try to get away.
    
    The pope, a charismatic and manipulative man by the name of Felix Garnier, has every person kneel at his feet, the crowd of people behind them, as they cry out each and every sin they have committed that week. Garnier will clench his dagger, slicing a slit into your back for every sin he counts, watching the unholy crimson blood spill from the wound.
    
    If it is unforgivable in his eyes, if you have more than a certain number of slices across your skin, you will be dragged away. Thrown into a hospital and bathed in holy water, or possibly drowned it in.

    You will be playing a character in Paris, affected by Pope Garnier. How this goes, is up to you. It's a heavy drama RP with some splashes of romance and tragedy intricated into the plot. It's a pretty plot loose RP, quite honestly but with a few creative minds, and some OC drama, it should be interesting enough.

    The insufferable and cruel Pope Garnier, who has full control over the citizens of Paris, and will do anything and everything to keep it that way. Quite the narcisstic bastard, if he does say so himself. No family left to care about, leaving only himself to care about...well, himself.     Always dodging and avoiding Pope Garnier, the citizens of Paris have come to fear him even without sin. People with sin, or what he could consider so according to his own personal beliefs are absolutely terrified, especially with rumors spread around like wildfire, constantly.     In modern terms, these people could be described as rebellious, refusing to allow the Pope to continue his reign of terror, although despite their best efforts have proved to be no avail...yet. Word is spreading across Paris, and instead of fear is slowly being replaced with hope.     1.Follow all RPN rules and guidelines. Hate and bigotry will not be tolerated. While I love IC drama, OOC is not as appreciated. Any should be brought to me, so it can be sorted out. Hate the character, not the person who made them.
    
    2. All character's MUST be 18+ due to the mature theme of the roleplay. Along with this, proper trigger warnings and such will be mandatory to prevent anyone from being uncomfortable, although it should be known before joining, this RP could/will contain the following themes:
    Substance use (alcohol, drugs, smoking, pills, etc)
    Strong themes of religious trauma
    Flashbacks of war
    Cussing
    Violence and blood
    S3xual themes (however NFSW isn't tolerated. We're thinking more fade-to-black scenes here)
    Some SH
    Struggles with addiction
    
    3. Semi-lit to lit is preferred however, I won't deny you for lacking this, as long as you can write a few sentences with legible grammar and spelling, we're good. quality over quantity.
