Beutelwolf
The Overlord
Hey guys! It’s me again with the weird cravings! Before I get into things, here’s just a little list of thingies (ik the boring stuff). Also! The plot itself is incomplete. I’d figure we work out the details and stuff together!
Muse A is like every Noire detective out there. Best of the best, they flew through the ranks and developed more than a name for themselves. Everything was going perfect, until he was put on the crime of the century. What started off as a normal investigation (you can decide the crime) took a turn for a worse. The deeper he dug into things, the worse it got. Long story short, they drug Muse A’s partner out of the river. Leaving him with a massive case file, boxes of evidence, and an entire police department who wants nothing to do with the case, he’s ever spiraling off the deep end. Down on his luck and with a developing alcohol problem, that’s where he runs into Muse B.
Muse B is one of those rising star types. Not yet completely famous, she’s a bit of a local celebrity. To the world, she’s the beauty with the voice of an angel. The jazz club she sings at stays packed. To the shadows of the city, she’s a different kind of royalty. Ruthless, intelligent, and cunning, she’s managed to bring an entire city to its knees and build herself an empire. A couple payments to the right people, and no one asks questions.
Their paths cross a couple days after another hit. Muse B recognizes Muse A as soon as he hits the door. Sleep deprived, stressed, slightly hungover, and the product of a million unhealthy coping mechanisms, Muse A somehow is closer to the trail than he knows he’s just not sober enough to figure it out.
Neither side ended up where they thought they would. Just as both sides end up falling, everything changes. Notives and morals are put to the test in the age old question of, how far do you go to protect those you love
- Please be 18+. Just on subject matter and my own age.
- I would prefer Muse A, my females are rusty but you can convince me to take B
- I’d prefer a 3 paragraph minimum. My range is from about 3-novella. Also! Please be detailed and help me drag the story on!
- This is inspired a lot by Hotel Dusk (it’s an amazing game). I guess you could throw LA Noire in there even though it’s been eons since I’ve played
- The time period of this is a little variable. We can go 20’s all the way through the 70’s (I believe when Hotel Dusk takes place) or even the 40’s of LA Noire
