The world was a far more frightening place than most of humanity believed. The things that went bump in the night were far more malevolent than any children's tale could possibly convey, and there were so few who could truly combat them. Of those precious few, only the SCP Foundation could make any progress in their endeavors (the SPC came close, but alas, there are only so many shark monsters in this world). In short, humanity was woefully unprepared and amazingly vulnerable to the monsters that preyed upon them.

Most who knew of such creatures believed that being malevolent personifications of horror was a full time thing; that they only ever indulged in terrorizing humanity, and nothing else. This was, quite simply, wrong. There were times when they weren't hunting humans, when they simply kicked back and relaxed for a bit. There simply wasn't any set place where they could do so, away from the prying eyes of their enemies and prey.

Why couldn't there be such a place? This was a question that the being known only as the Slenderman found himself asking one day. He thought about it, considered all of the factors he could think of, and he decided that such a spot may be rather nice, actually. And since he couldn't expect any of the others to go out of their way to do this, he took matters into his own tentacles. A mansion, hidden deep within a secluded wood, was chosen as the venue for their relaxation. Hard to get to for humans, 3 stories, that nice medium between posh mansion and dilapidated wreck, and (thanks to his "living" there for a few months) doors that seemed to go anywhere at random hours of the day.

It was perfect.

With that out of the way, he told a few of his fellow horrors about the new place, and allowed them to spread the news. Whether or not any would come, or see just how wonderful this little project of his was...well, he supposed he'd simply have to wait and see. He was in no rush; this place was just as much for him as it was for monsters in general.

If he were the type to smile, he would have been tempted to do so. Oh, what fun he would have with this place.

"Hmmm what a surprise"

Garry looked up from the scribbled drawing of a house to the slightly decrepit mansion that lay in front of him. For the last several hours or so he had been wandering around the woods following pieces of paper stuck to the trees depicting arrows and the occasional scrawled picture of a house. At first he had been confused of the note tucked away in the folds of his jacket that had all but a single drawing (a messy one at that) of a tree on it. When he finally realized who or what it had come from, Garry burst into a fit of laughter that sent him falling unceremoniously to the floor. Leave it to Slendy to send such a formal invitation. So when night time rolled around, he decided to take a little stroll through the woods to see exactly what the tentacled creature had in mind.

Rin had been out with her two companions, Masky and Hoodie, roaming the forests, following the pages her 'master' had placed on various tree trunks. That very night they'd been exploring, their 'master' was exploring as well. Apparently he had found a mansion, and these three were about to find it. Groaning, the small girl lead the other two through the forests, spotting the isolated home her tentacled friend had come to 'live' in. They ran to the door, excited, and knocked.

Black boots trudged through piles of leaves that had fallen from the trees which towered over his form. Bringing a gloved hand up to his head, he pushed his top-hat back so it wouldn't fall off as he walked. The male had been walking for over half an hour now, and that mere fact slightly irritated the blonde as there wasn't any source of entertainment or anyone to entertain. After a couple moments of wondering if he should turn back and find another human for his circus, he came up with an idea. With a wide grin upon his pale face, he reached into his inner jacket pocket on the left. His fingers wrapped around a deck of cards, bringing them out from the fabric pocket. The blonde swiftly sifted through the pack, though continued to walk as his eyes shifted away from the path in-front of him. It only took a couple of seconds or so before he found the card he had been looking for. Pushing the rest of the deck back into the safety of his pocket, he threw card forward. Snapping his fingers twice, the object he had swiftly tossed erupted into a large cloud of white smoke.

Pausing in his walk, he slipped out a long leather item that he had secured to his belt earlier on. Rhett cracked the whip against the base of a nearby tree, causing a figure to immediately emerge from the smoke. A man on stilts, stood directly in front of the obviously shorter male. The act looked down at the blonde, showing his heavily painted face. The man's outfit was similar to his own, his trousers almost the same as Rhett's.

"Pick me up." Rhett demanded, his tone showing that he was serious though his face didn't. His bright smile remained as the man nodded steadily, falling to his knees seconds later. The blonde spun his figure around, allowing the other to reach forward and lift him up, placing Rhett onto his shoulders. It took a dozen seconds or so, but eventually, the man upon stilts had risen back up. He craned his neck around, able to see where this said mansion was. Spotting the large building, he bounced up and down on the spot. "Head towards that building." He commanded, receiving another nod before they started moving.

"Mine. This room is mine" Garry stated to no one in particular. He hadn't bothered to walk through the door but had instead came flying through a boarded up window and left a nice little hole as his own personal entrance way. He waltzed around the hollow halls, opening doors which way and that. An eerie smile stretched across his face as he explored further and further into the mansion. It seemed there were some doors that led to dingy rooms, extravagantly decorated rooms, and the occasional portals to a new plane of existence rooms. Then he had come across the perfect little space that was shrouded in nothing but endless darkness. He experimentally stuck a hand into the blackness and it seemed to swallow his fingers and before he knew it his whole arm in shifting shadows.

"Parfait!!" He screamed into the 'nothingness'. Not even an echo came bouncing back. He let out a slightly hysteric laugh and was just about to leap into the room when his ears perked at a distant knocking sound coming from the first floor.

"SLENDY, THERE'S SOMEONE AT THE DOOR!!!!!!!!!," Garry shrieked at the top of his lungs. He waited several minutes but the knocking continued. He groaned like a spoiled little child and slammed his 'bedroom' door shut with a resounding bang. He tore through the mansion, practically flying down the stairs as he made his way to the main entrance. Black smoke seemed to wrap and twist itself around his left hand until it solidified into a scythe. He pulled the double doors open and nonchalantly swung the gigantic blade at the three figures without so much as a glance. If they were fellow horrors they would live, if they weren't they would die. Simple, simple, simple logic.

The three, Masky, Hoodie, and Rin, all jumped over the blade; Rin glared at the man, the smallest of the three proxies was her, therefore she wasn't that intimidating. She grabbed Masky and Hoodie's available hands and and forced them inside after carefully pushing the fellow Pasta aside. "Nice to see someone who checks for intruders," she said, referring to the blade that almost hit all three. "I am Rin, this," she pointed to the masked figure in a yellow jacket, "is Masky; and that," she pointed to the hoodied figure with a black and red mask, "is Hoodie. We're proxies of the owner of this mansion, Slenderman." She introduced them all, Hoodie wouldn't have done it, he was too shy. For Masky, she just wouldn't allow him.

Irritation melted away into a disconcerting smile as the more miniature of the trio stepped up and introduced all three of them. His mindset had immediately switched from murder to a pleasant, welcoming air when he realized they were creepypastas like himself. The scythe dissipated into swirl of black mist as Garry waved away the pasta's earlier 'compliment', completely disregarding the obvious sarcasm.

"Garry Ryu, the Reaper of death and illusion, not at your service" Garry exclaimed with a crooked little bow. He walked around Rin and behind the other two masked proxies. He swung both of his arms around the twos shoulders and leaned down to their face height.

"Terrible to meet you"

Rin peered back at the man, smirking. "Those two like cheesecake, as do I. Is there any here yet?" Her voice was kept soft, but was slightly demanding; she was young, but she was only the second youngest. She knew a few other Pasta's, one of which was a girl whom was eight years old. It made her excited to see she wasn't the youngest; she walked into the kitchen, sitting on a stool.

Garry practically dragged the other two with him as he followed Rin into the kitchen. "You mean Human food" It was phrased as a question but sounded more like a statement. He had no use of such things when a single soul can last a few decades. He did 'eat' occasionally though but only delicacies to indulge in the taste.

"Yes, they," she pointed to the two he dragged along, "adore cheesecake, they just got me into it." She opened the refrigerator, moving some things aside, trying to find the three's favorite snack. "Hmm... Slendy should have... Aha!" She took out a container of cheesecake, three pieces left. "Found ya! Come here you two." She grabbed three plates, splitting the pieces evenly among them.

Garry took a seat on the edge of the table and pulled out a tiny, silver case that looked like a fancier version of a mentos container. He flipped it open and immediately an ear-splitting shriek filled the room, shaking the furniture and walls. He appeared to be completely at ease and even seemed to be enjoying the tormented scream before tipping the case over and letting its contents drop into his mouth. Just as soon as the strange phenomenon had occurred it had abruptly stopped.

"Ahhh nothing like the souls of the damned to fill an empty cavity" Garry sighed.

After a couple minutes of the blonde rambling on to himself, they eventually arrived at the manor he had been searching for. As his form was lifted off broad shoulders, he began to wonder if he should find a way to make his acts smart enough so they would be able to talk with him. This thought was quickly brushed aside, as his feet landed upon the spot directly in-front of the parted door.

He poked his head into the building, shifting his gaze around the entry room with a curious glint in his eyes. "Hello? Anyone home?! Slenderman?" Rhett called out, only to add an almost berserk-sounding fit of laughter once the screaming had ceased. He took a moment to use his arm to open the doors wider and allow his act to enter before taking a couple of steps forward. The man on stilts had to crouch down low to fit himself through the door, showing incredible balance as he shuffled up to his master. Rhett's sleeves had been rolled up to his elbows, giving the illusion of floating and moving gloves.

Rin, completely unphased by the screaming, stare at Garry. "It's quite loud, I'll give it that much," she said, returning to her slice of cheesecake. Upon finishing, she moved some hair from her eyes, stood up, and walked up the stairs to find a room for the three to share. She opened multiple doors before finding one with three medium sized beds and three small dressers. There was enough space in the room for anything added.

"Masky! Hoodie! Get up here!" She yelled down at them. They quickly finished their slices, walking into the room after walking up the flight of stairs. "Good enough?" They nodded and walked back down with Rin. "There... room picked out. Anything you n-" she was interrupted by a floating man entering. She stared at him, "Hello?"

When the room finally stopped trembling, Garry hopped off the kitchen counter table and pressed a palm against the darkened wall. He seemingly melted into the shadows and shifted along the ceiling as he followed the three proxies. He watched as Rin confronted a new pasta who looked to either have invisible limbs or is just made up of levitating pieces of cloth. Garry dropped from the shadows and landed right in front of the stranger with a wide grin. He leaned in, practically eye to eye with the pasta and pressed both his index fingers on the man's cheeks.

"Hmmm your face is solid...and squishy" Garry stated as if he was a doctor examining a patient.

A faint echo of laughter seemed to begin in the room where Rin, Garry, and Rhett were currently interacting. It was as if a parks worth of children were having the time of their lives somewhere in the distance. And then he was there, standing near the fridge, posture as rigidly straight as usual. There was a definite jovial feeling emanating from the master of the mansion, and the room seemed to brighten slightly in response to its master's mood.

When he spoke, no sound came from him. Instead, the voices of the children spoke in unison, sounding close enough to be in the room even as they could still be heard laughing in the distance. "Hello, one and all. We're so glad you could attend the opening. We think you'll find this place to be quite enjoyable. It has much to offer...and many ways to entertain. If you have any questions, please, feel free to ask. We shall answer as appropriate."

Rin turned around to her 'master'. "Slendy!" Her bright crimson orbs moved with her head as she turned to face him, she wore a slight grin. Adjusting her large coat, she fixed the sleeves that hung annoyingly over her small hands. She then flicked her gaze back to Garry, whom was touching the other man she had just greeted. "Might I ask of your calling?" She was asking the man whom had an invisible body.

The sound of foreign voices reached his ears, his eyes shooting in the direction of the room they emitted from. His eyes also took note of the size of the door-frame, breathing out gently as he realised his act would not be able to fit into it, despite it's tremendous amount of skill. Raising his hands up to his chest, he clapped them twice and only twice. Out the corner of his eye, the tall male who had been crouching there, abruptly vanished into mid-air. Letting out another chuckle, he rocked back and forth on the balls of his feet as he heard the sound of another voice, this time directed at him.

"Well, hello there, Madam!" Rhett chirped back in response to the female's word, a large, almost maniacal grin upon his lips. He had managed to take a single step forward, before another presence suddenly appeared by his side. Peals of laughter shook his body, well, at least his clothing, as he stared directly back at the man. A smile remained on his face, even when the other decided to start touching his only visible flesh.

Rhett tore his gaze away from the male as he heard a chorus of voices, in a direction he could not pinpoint. He lifted his left hand up, giving a brief wave to the one known as Slenderman. Using the both of his gloved hand, Rhett wrapped slim fingers around the other male's wrists, lightly moving his hands away from his face for the time being. He reached up to his head, grabbing onto the brim of his headwear with two fingers. "I'm known as the Ringmaster or Monsieur Loyal. But you may call me; Rhett." He answered, tipping his hat moments as he finished speaking.

"Soooo what exActLY do you have in mind, Hommemince?" Garry questioned, turning his attention to Slenderman. He was all to curious to see what ideas the man had hidden up his tentacles. He let his arm fall limp as he leaned against the Rhett.

"Stiff as a board..."

Rin giggled a little at the actions of Garry, "Well, it's definitely good you're here and not elsewhere," she responded to Rhett. The blue essence around her hands was slowly revolving, showing a calm state; this essence not only help her kill, but also showed her emotions. She moved a hand through her semi-long hair, smoothing out any knots that came from running through the forests to get here. She yawned, "Slendy, when will the others be here?"

Another fit of laughter erupted from the blonde's mouth, in response to the man's statement. His glove seemed to shake as he popped his hat back onto his head securely. The current grin upon Rhett's face could outdo any clown in the universe.

Once he finally restrained his act of amusement, the male simply nodded at Rin's words. His gaze swiftly returned to Garry, feeling a pressure against the side of his figure. "You can touch my arm if you want." The male stated, pointing a figure at the gap between his glove and his rolled-up sleeve.

Garry leaned down until he was eye level with Rhett's arm. "Don't mind if I do" He chirped before abruptly biting down on the invisible limb, drawing blood. He leaned back up, licking the red liquid from the corner of his mouth.

"Hmmm...sweet" He mumbled "Your soul taste like cotton candy"

Tony was stood by a tree opposite the house, trying to keep out of sight. He knew none of the 'Pastas here, and he had only met Slenderman himself once. In his head Lucifer was telling him to go for it, to run through the door and stab someone, but Tony shushed him and continued to silently watch

Rin walked over to Garry and smirked, she flicked his nose and giggled. Rin then remembered he could catch her, so she ran for the front door, opening it and standing outside, still giggling. She peered around the forest, looking for signs of other Pasta's or people, unfortunately she spotted no one. She sat outside of the door, legs crossed, head down a little.

The lord of Shadows heared about the creation of Slender, he walked through the forest with his arms behind his back and a smile as his cape would blaze in flames as he hears the screams of suffering mothers in his mind. He sees the mansion, he walked slowly to it as he hears the suffering souls, he walked up the door and knock 3 times, waiting for a response with a smile on his face.
