After Slenderman's mansion fell everyone scattered, fleeing to safety, only Slenderman himself stayed behind to restore the building to its former glory since everyone now thought they were all dead. The scattered ones must find a way to blend in and hide themselves long enough that they can return safely, but now you're wondering how Slender's mansion got discovered and burned down in the first place.
It started with a group of teens who had decided to go camping, getting the attention of the current residents of the mansion, for better of worse, they decided to see how long the group would be there. When it dragged out a few of our favorite killers really needed to do something, so they did what they do best. Only one of the teens escaped the chaos and led the hunters and adults to the mansion, which was then burned to the ground with, as they think, everyone in it.
This brings up back to the current situation, people scattered, hiding, blending in with society or just wandering around until they can return to their safe haven.
