  Biography:
  Jade always was the weird one of the two siblings, liking dark and scary things and laughing about it instead of being scared. So it came as no surprise that she wanted a vampire bat as pet and because her parents thought the creature would fly away soon she got one. Only it never left willingly and one night, on a camping trip, she wandering through the woods with her bat she called Dracula, her father appraoched her, drunk as hell and on the phone with what appeared to be the police. Since Jade had no energy or desire to deal with her drunk father she kept walking, a route she walked thousands of times before. Enraged her father pushed her off the cliff, though he was soon arrested by police officers. They searched the lake below the cliff for a body, but never found one.
  How did they become what they are now:
  As it turns out her pet vampire bat was actually more special then anyone realized, including the one who sold it to her. After Jade hit the water it apparently knew exactly what happened and flew to it's owner, but Jade was dead on impact, so it bit her wrist, hoping to save it's best friend.
  When Jade woke up she was somewhere away from the lake, but still close enough to the cliff to hear what was going on. However she couldn't walk over looking completely different, so she hid. She later found her father drunk on the street, she had just send her mother away to a distant relative, so she did the only thing she could to protect her little sister. He was found with two small holes in his neck, the police couldn't figure out who or what killed him, so they dropped the case.
