Creatures Of The Night




For Decades, Centuries, Millennia we have existed.


It is only in the last century that we, the Creatures, have been forced into hiding, now nothing more than fairytales to the humans.


What they don't know is that we roam the Earth, hidden in a humanoid form, waiting for the opportunity to reveal ourselves.


To be free again.





NightFright is a normal town, where people go about their daily lives without a care in the world.


But when I say people, you only think humans. Correct?


Wrong.


Both humans and creatures co-exist in NightFright.


Though the humans don't know it, and if they did they'd likely get out their guns and shoot us all.


Which is why we stay hidden, taking the form of a normal human or an animal, never our true forms.


Not in front of them at least.


But hunters, they come into out town, once every month, to cleanse our home of the creatures.


Of us.


Some have survived the tests that they use to find each type of creature, have managed to stay free.


But not for long.





The humans have found a drug, called Kylon, that reveals a creature.


Its injected into them, and causes them to collapse, turning to their true form.


And then they are killed.


The drug doesn't affect humans, and once you're checked, they don't try again.


But most creatures don't survive the cleanse.


Not anymore.


But we need to.

4. Being injected with the drug will make your creature weak, but not unable to escape. Therefore, if caught by the humans (Who won't appear at first) you can escape, but your character will be weak.

The small town was quiet, the moon in the air slowly sinking behind the horizon to be replaced with the dazzling sun, which brightened up the sky and the town itself. At this time, few people were out, but one of which was Anthony Holmes, known more commonly as Tony. He was sat silently in a park area, which was more of a large, grassy field, leant against a tree. His wings, hidden by his trench coat, were tucked neatly to his back, and in his hands he held a sketch book and a pencil.

The town itself was small, a few shops littered the area, houses lining the sides of the streets. Few cars moved along these streets, but it was small enough that people could walk from one place to another, so vehicles were not needed​
