Leaving Reality
An angel, a devil, a human
Taylor sat at the gate in one those black leather chairs where no matter how you sat it wasn't comfortable. In her right hand she clutched a cup of coffee and would occasionally sip at it, letting the warm liquid give her a rush of warmth. The past couple of weeks had been rough and every moment she was growing closer to her fathers funeral, closer to saying goodbye to him for the last time. Australia, it was so far from where she was born and raised. Although she knew that her father wanted to be buried where he had been born even if he was never raised there. She smirked at the thought, her grandparents, had been on vacation when her father decided to be born. Thus he was born in Sydney Australia but was raised in the USA and a citizen of the USA. She unwrapped her headphones from her ipod and placed them in her ears, turning the music all the way up she closed her eyes.
Jordan and Lyric were waiting in line for food at the small McDonalds that was by the gate. Lyric was both nervous and excited to go to Australia and play her violin, she has always wanted to play in the Sydney concert hall and now she would. "Lyric you are holding your breath again." Jordan pointed out with a smirk. Lyric started to breathe again and hit his arm. "Shut it."
Darien was waiting at the gate reading a book, randomly he would look up and look around just to assure himself no one was boarding yet. Then he would return to his book while eating some chips he bought earlier. As he read a part involving one of the characters being bitten by a snake he mentally cringed, never did he think disaster was going to happen.
