Realistic or Modern Cowgirls vs. Cityboys

Esther sat at the table quietly and started fiddling with her fingers. She didn't have anything to say, so why would she try and make a conversation?

Brennon rubbed his eyes since he was up early driving here but what made it worse was the deafening silence. "So what time should I be up for tomorrow." Brennon asked trying to make some conversation.

Conner heard the vell, saw everyone head to the house, and figured it meant something. He hadn't changed, why should he? So, he was in a pair of loose jeans and a loose shirt. When he walked into the house, he saw the table set out, people sitting at it, and figured it was time for lunch. Not taking his shoes off or washing his hands, he goes to a random spot and sits down. He resisted the erge to dig in, however. He wasn't that rude.

Cassie was keeping herself pretty... Calm... Or so she though, she just looked anywhere but at the guys. At least, that was until Connor came walking in with shoes and everything. As he say down, she shot him a look. "Forgot your shoes, wash your hand and you're in Jen's seat." She said through gritted teeth with a smile, holding her knife before turning to Brennon. "Four thirty should be fine as long as you start working by five."

Cassie then first noticed the silent guy who didn't have a seat yet. At least he waited for someone to give him a word. "We don't bite, you know." She said to him, pushing the chair next to Brennon away with her foot, indicating that he could sit there. "Wow, dad and Jen are really busy... Can we please just dig in already?" She asked Abigail with pleading eyes. The quicker she ate, the quicker she could go.

Brennon smiled. "Ah thank you."Brennon said to cassie. "four thirty hmm i'm normally up till that time." Brennon muttered looking at the food. "May I just say this food looks beautiful." Brennon added trying to get into everyone's good book.

"Why does it matter. It's my food once it's on plate. And where is her name on the seat." Conner said, leaning back and ticking the points off on his fingers. He would but heads with this girl, that was a garuntee. Oh well, that would just make things interesting here.

Brennon sighed. "Stop being annoying your not at your house anymore show some respect." Brennon said sounding very annoyed he could at least be respectful in the slightest someone went out of their way and allowed them to stay here so living by their rules is only fair.

Cassie puffed her cheeks and wanted to stab this guy with her knife, but instead she stood up rudely and tossed her knife into the floor, something she would probably get scolded for later.

She walked away, but not before making Connor's chair tip backwards.

Cassie pulled on her boots and took a seat outside on the swing chair on the porch.

At least she had walked away, right? She hadn't done anything wrong this time, right?

She left her boots on.Abby grabbed another beer for her."the gods nectar to help pull you back to why were doing all this."Abby asks giving her sister a small smile.

Ben didn't bother meddling with the two guys who seemed to be on the more talkative side. He didn't judged them, but more as waited for a better reason to cross them off his list for friends. He gave a sigh as he watched the girl stab the floor, Then her exit from the room. "I'll go talk to her." His voice was again never varying from the soothing tone, seducing the room into a silence besides the chair that was no doubt going to it the floor. He walked out to the porch, not putting on his work shoes to support him on the rough wood. He looked at her on the porch swing and close the door behind. Abby was already out, but he waited in case she wanted some kind words from a guy.

Brennon sighed. "Jackass." He muttered under his breath talking about Conner he just made three people up and leave the table before the dinner was even out he could already tell he would dislike this guy no respect and no manners in the slightest he wouldn't even wash his hands.

"If you give me that thing I will bust his head in with it." Cassie told her sister before leaning forward and burying her head in her hands. "You can go eat, just save me some, I'll eat it when everyone's out again... I'm fine." She added before peeking through her fingers. She deadpanned at the guy standing there just looking at her. "Great, I'm the entertainment of the day." She mumbled.

"Hey it will alk work drink up me hearty yo ho."Abby says and jokes.Abby gave her the beer."remember I am always here to talk. Dig in guys, and then off to the bunk house we have an early morning."Abby says and takes little food. She drinks her beer."so why dont you boys tell me about yourselves."Abby says

Ben looked at the two, not meaning to interrupt on the private moment. "I didn't mean to intrude, just never a fan of people being upset." It was calm and an enticing tone, so as to show he was friendly. He put his hand behind is head, showing his nervousness slightly by rubbing his neck. For such a professional man, he was quite the shy guy, almost childlike quirk.

Cassie just sighed and pointed her beer at Ben once her sister was gone. She sure as hell wasn't going to drink it. "It's fine." She mumbled before crossing her arms over her chest and looking at the land in front of her.

She wondered how they could keep this land. She didn't want to leave any off it behind.

Brennon didn't touch the food he was brought up to only eat when everyone's around the table family or not." Well you already know my name i'm 23 the same age as yourself and well the only thing I like is to play video games and I have a distaste in vegetables or other compliments to my food's side dishes. What about yourself?" Brennon replied looking at Abby.

Ben let his hand fall to his side, "Guess I'll do as Abby said and go inside, I'm sure you would rather be with your thoughts then me." He opened the door, not expecting any other reaction from the coldest sister he had met.

Abby smiles. "Well you all know my name and age . I get up every morning at 3:30 or 4 and do my chores. My life is the ranch and Thair. I like to have fun as well as work. Work before play and well we have a bit of challenge for you guys."Abby says

"Trust me, these are not really things I want to think about. Here." Cassie said handing him her beer. "You don't have to do something you don't want, it's a free country after all."

Maybe this guy wouldn't be so bad, he didn't talk much so what could happen? "What's your name?" Might as well show some kind of decency.

Brennon rubbed his hand through his hair smiling. "I can bet you have a challenge for us well its a good thing I happen to enjoy challenges isn't it." Brennon said laughing a little.

He raised his eyebrow at the comment of him not wanting to do something, was she trying to ensue that he did want to stay with her? Then again why would he not want to, this was the whole point of the trip. Ben took the beer, not bothering to open it, but just rolled it in his hands. "I'm Benjamin Hufford, it's a honor to meet you." He said very gently, holding out his free hand for her to shake.

Abby smiles and looked down. Then up "Yeah? Well then come with me a minute. "Abby says she finished her beer and what she had on her plate."I have two challenges for you then."Abby says and stands.

Catching himself before he hits the floor, he picks the chair up and sits back down in it. "I happen to not know your names, and I don't care, about any of what you said. I just have to work with you, not know your life's story." He said before digging into the meal.

Brennon smiled and stood up. "This better not to be something to do with horse so far we seem to have a negative friendship." Brennon said sighing noticing the other one began to dig into the meat but he chose to just ignore him for the time being. He began to follow Abby. "So what challengers do you have for me?" Brennon asked interested in what she was going to say.

"There is nothing honorable about meeting me, I'm just an ordinary farmer's daughter." Cassie said shaking the others hand. "Cassie Pale, bit people just call me Cass... So what brings you here? You don't look like someone with problems." She concluded and scooted over a seat so Benjamin could sit down. He didn't seem like a bad guy, he was okay... Maybe...

Cassie still didn't like these city boys, but not all of them seemed bad, just one.
