Realistic or Modern Cowgirls vs. Cityboys

"I think so." Cassie smirked. It wasn't everyday Abby called anyone an ass besides her. "She's not hard too miss, she's the only other one walking around. I think she's at the stalls already. As for food." She looked at the table where some stood. "I think you need to wake up, sunshine." She teased and patted his cheek before walking back up the stairs. "Good luck!" She called over her shoulder and headed back to Ben.

Ben was rubbing the door down, trying to get the pig feed from the cracks in it. He could hear Cass and Conner talking and it seemed as though the house would be his job for today. Ben gave a light smile at the thought of staying indoors all day with the one person he enjoyed at this ranch, but it wouldn't go so soundly if he knew any better. Kurt was likely to make an appearance as was Cass' sisters, more drama in store for sure. When she came up the stairs Ben looked at her with a smile, trying to get her off the angry streak. "Cleaning a whole house with me won't be that bad, I promise.".

After waving the hand away, Conner stared blankely at the food on the table. 'When did that get there?' he thought to himself before grabbing an apple, got his shoes on, then out the door to the stable. Hope he didn't have to go running around this ranch looking for her, and would that damn rooster shut up. They knew it was morning by now. But by the looks of it, he would crow whenever he felt like it and stop when he wanted.

"I agree, cleaning the house isn't bad, but then we also need to herd the sheep and goats to the drinking hole further down the land." Cassie said, naming some of the chores that still had to be done. "The barn needs to be filled with hay, we need to check on the chicks and I have to train Alpha Black for a small handicap that's coming up… Please don't tell my dad that last part." She mumbled and started to clean the floor again. "I also still need to find that shotgun that dad has hidden somewhere. If Kurt thinks that he's off the hook with me, then he's wrong as hell." she said. "Hopefully Lucifer can teach him a lesson.. Some of our horse are geniuses."

Ben listened to the chores intently, trying to make a mental note of all they had to do before speaking. "Sheep and goats to the drinking hole, barn with the hay, something your dad doesn't need to know, and me convincing you not to kill Kurt." He poked her side with the last part, hoping to get a comical reaction, something he hadn't perfected. They were almost done cleaning the pig feed, but that still left the eggs downstairs and to clean the kitchen table from the uneaten food. He stood up, wiping his brow from some loose mud, "So, which one is next?".

Abby was just finishing up in the barn she had fixed what she could with out doing to much. She walked out seeing Conner. She fixed her cowboy hat as she walked over to Conner." Yes?"She asks him. She had Thair next to her. the horse kept her calm." Did Cass send you out to me?"She asks him.

" 'Pends, you Abby?" Conner replied, wrinkling his nose only slightly at the smell. He had smelled worse, smog and factories can make some pretty disgusting smells. He just didn't expect it to be so intense, from the outside it didn't smell so bad. "Actually, considering your in here where that other one, the one that is mad almost all the time, told me you'd be, I'd say you are."

"Yes I am Abby. Why were you sent out to me?" Abby said and patted Thair. "This is my horse Thair he is one of our best horses. Very well trained. So I am guessing your here to help feed the animals. " Abby says.

Irish Ice Queen

"You guessed it." 'I really don't care what your hirse is called or why you have it.' The last part he thought to himself for obvious reasons. He didn't want every girl on th farm to be mar at him, not extremely any way.

"Great glad she sent you go muck Diablos stall. I will feed the horses on my own oh and good luck that bull doesn't like men."Abby says smiles and hands him a pitch fork and wheel barrel. " The bull pen is that way. Good luck walking there horse be easier but ass holes like you dont get to use a horse so get going. Be done in an hour." Abby says. She walked away and got on Thair as she went to grab the fodder for the animals.

"Great. I get to clean up bull crap. Well, who knew that the day would finally come." Conner grumbled under his breath. In fact, the whole way to Diablos' stall he was grumbling about something. When he got to the stall, more like a large enclosier really, he eye balled Diablos. The bull in question was large, mostly muscle, black, and had rather large horns that he didn't want to get stuck in him. "Well, lil' buddy. We aren't going to like this, so let's be quick about it." As he said the last words, he hopped the fence inside the pen. And almost immediatly he jumped back out with the horns of an angry bull clattering on the metal fence behind him. 'How am I going to do this?'

Abby went about her work. She fed all the animals but the bull. She went over to Diablo stall and watched Conner try and try again. Abby almost Laughed out loud as she watched him. Served him right. Diablo really only liked her. Abby went over."all you have to do is ask for help."Abby said leaning on Thair.

"Not yet." he growled out, a look of determination set on his face. Hopping the fence once more, he stares down the bull to no use. When Diablos was close, Conner ran to the side and narrowly avoided getting a horn in his ribs for his troubles. Sprinting over to a gate of a joining pen, he hurridly swings it open. Diablos had by then turned back around, and was charging him again. Conner had it opened enough to use it as a shield. The bull slammed into the metal fence, pinning Conner in a triangular space. "Alright, I could use some help."

Abby laughs and walks over she grabs a rope. She tied it around his neck." Come on buddy, breakfast. "Abby says. She pets the bull and walks him to a and open pen. She dumps hay in it and released him to run around. " next time I won't help if your attitude continues , make it spotless then go clean up for Breakfast." Abby says and rides up to the house. She ties up Thair and walks into the house. She was smiling. Abby could be meaner then her sister. Yeah her sister was loud and annoying, but she was sneaky yeah it was mean, but she wasn't going to be talked to like that. She went to grab a glass of water.

Irish Ice Queen

"Already had some." he said to the air. Well, now that Diablos was gone, guess he had to work. So, grabbing the pitchfork and wheel barrel, he begins to scrape the crap, figurativlly and literally, off the ground. It wasn't so hard, just a bit messy at times, and stinky. But over all, it wasn't that bad. He wouldn't be surprised if he had one of the easiest jobs. He thougbt he'd have to do something like pluck the feathers iff a dead chicken or wrestle the cattle, the last one more if a fantasy then anything else.

Cassie squeaked when Ben poked her side, not a lot of people knew this, but she was actually really ticklish. "Well..." Cass sighed to Ben's question. "We have to clean the whole down stairs. Clean the kitchen, sweep and mop the floor, clean the dining area and clean the hall." She counted on her fingers as she named all the chores. "Then we can finally go out and get the sheep and goats to the drinking hole… You can ride on Jack." She added. Jack was one of the oldest horses they had, he might not be as active as the other horses, but he knew his way around the land so he wouldn't be too hard to ride. "Then when we come back from that, we have to start preparing dinner because the trip takes most of the day. We will have to bring some lunch with us or some snacks… Oh!" Cass beamed. "I have to remember to tell Abby that Kurt has to clean Lucifer's stall!"

Abby walked in." What about me?" She asked. she was already annoyed out of her whits. These city boys were killing her. Arrogant ass holes couldn't even handle Diablo. Abby grabbed an apple and bit into it.She grabbed more coffee and looked at Ben. She rolled her eye's and went to the sink. To fill her water bottle. She sighed she was tired they had kept her up last night.

Ben's eyes widened, waiting for the retaliation to ensue from his ill fated joke, but when he released it was a success a smile crossed his face. He noted her ticklishness, almost pleased at the possibilities of making her laugh all the time. He again noted the chores, but upon hearing riding on Jack he got a little excited. Ben wasn't much of an adventurous person, but when it came to animals he had a soft spot. "I get to ride on a horse? Wow, and I thought spending time with you was exciting." There was no sarcasm in his voice, but a matter of fact for she was one of his only friends. Course the smile he was giving Cassie probably showed this, for he was ecstatic. (@KneelingAngel )

"Don't make me put you on a cow." Cassie joked. "You do know how to ride a horse right?" She questioned and raised a brow at Benjamin. You don't really look like the type if I'm all honest." She headed down the stairs to start and clean the kitchen, she was going to kill Kurt when she saw him again, but then she saw Abby walk in. "What horse stepped on your toe?" Cassie asked her sister. "I was just saying that you need to put Kurt, that new guy, on Lucifer duty, look what he did to the house, the asshole!"

Abby shrugged" none stupid city boys can't even handle Diablo and yeah sure Lucifer if I see him he can handle Lucifer. I would get this cleaned up before dad sees it. Of you need me I will be in the fields."Abby says. She grabbed another Apple for thair and walks for the door." Also when conner is done with Diablo tell hin he has to put him back."Abby says.

Kurt was busy being himself, and was determined to see every inch of the place. So, he was currently scoping out Lucifer's stall. He approached the large horse, a grin on his face. "Greetings Lucifer, I've heard quite a lot about you." he said to the horse. He had heard of this horse mentioned several times before, and this horse looked sort of like the type. Kurt wasn't sure Lucifer was really that bad. Maybe it just took a different perspective in the matter?
