Cover Photo Not Appearing

Err...so as the title says, the cover picture for my profile either does not appear at all or appears as a broken image symbol. I noticed a smudge on my picture, so I decided to fix it and then replace it with the new corrected image. However, the moment I changed and saved the cover photo, the image just disappeared and came out as the default black cover. I also checked on my phone to see if it wasn't just my computer acting up. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, is there some solution?



Edit: I've also tried both .jpeg and .png


Edit (2): I'm not too sure if this is relevant, but the file size being too large is not the issue (although I highly doubt a file so small would pose such an issue in the first place) as I've tried switching back to my old image.

I would double check that the image you are uploading is of an appropriate type (.jpeg, .png, .gif, etc).  This may be a separate issue to mobile as well.  There have been other conflicts related with this specific device which the staff have been working on very hard to fix .

For anyone else who may have a problem with broken images, there seems to be a problem with uploading new images (cover photos, profile pictures) on RPN as of the moment. It's likely the site and not you.
