The year is 1813 and your entire worth is based on how much money you have and who you marry. You, however, are unmarried, and with the pressure of your parents hanging over you, you must find your forever partner. Will you marry above or below your station? For love or for money? Will your parents finally be proud of you? (Probably not)

It's courting season, meaning many luxurious parties will be held for young, attractive suitors to meet and flirt. And a few less attractive ones too.... Funded by their parents, they will embark on the romantic journey of strategically and mathematically choosing their life partner after barely meeting them. The basis of their relationship will rely almost entirely on how well they dress and behave at a single event. Your entire family's legacy depends on this and you risk being a royal disappointment if you marry the wrong person... Exciting!

Rules:
1. Historical accuracy isn't the most important thing in this roleplay! Don't go too over the top, no phones or computers, but characters can be any nationality, sexuality, gender or ability.
2. This is an LGBTQ+-friendly roleplay! I will not hesitate to remove you from the roleplay for any homophobia, racism or ableism out of character.
3. Please join the discord once it's up! The server will include important information, such as a trigger warning list. You will be expected to include trigger warnings for the topics listed.
4. Please try to include everyone!
5. All characters who you wish to be part of the courting/marriage plotline MUST be over 18. I'm sure in reality they were under 18 but that's a tad noncey and we ain't about that.
6. I won't be posting a recruitment thread but if you know anyone you think would enjoy this roleplay, feel free to send them an invite!
7. Character sheets don't need to have coding if you don't want them to!
