I use she/her pronouns, but if you wanna use they/them idrc. I’m really wanting to do a few 1x1’s ones at the moment, mostly due to stress. If you want a full list of my rules, click the tab above to view them. Slow posts are preferred, as I doubt I’ll get more than a couple of posts if I’m overselling myself. I run out of spoons easily sorry. [/div] [div class="textblock" style="margin: 0px;"] At the moment, I'm mostly looking for people to fill in realistic/modern tagged plots! I'm craving these. Feel free to approach me with any ideas you think might be interesting to me. [/div] [/div] [div class="scrollbox infobox expectationstab hidediv"] [div class="textblock"] To preface, anything I expect of you, you can expect the same of me. If you have additional hard limits that we have a chance of touching over the course of the story, please inform me ahead of time. [/div] [div class="textblock"] Despite how fancy my shit is, I don't expect you to do the same. I'd rather we both be consistent in that we both use the same CS layout so if you don't want any, we'll be basic bitches. I also prefer discord for OOC, but the roleplay itself must be on threads, not discord/pm/gdocs/etc. [/div] [div class="textblock"] I dislike referring to myself with a label such as "literate", but I do expect me and my partner to be able to write in consistent and concise English. I'm not a big fan of needlessly verbose descriptions nor just the barebones of a character's actions. If you know the skirt rule and abide by it, we should do just fine! [/div] [div class="textblock"] Continuing along, doubling (or more) for both of us is non-negotiable. I personally get bored easily when forced into one character, and enjoy constantly fleshing out their personalities using their interactions with others. If you don't do it, don't bother PMing me. [/div] [div class="textblock" ] This happens to me a lot: I hate partners who rely on me to be the primary plotter. It's a collaborative effort. I don't want a yes man. If I wanted that I'd just go on twitter and tumblr with their hive mind lmfao. [/div] [div class="textblock" ] Unlike a lot of others, however, I have next to 0 expectations when it comes to frequency. Either of us can post as frequently or as seldom as we like. I also don't mind being ghosted; we've all done it. I just prefer being told, and if something comes up, talk to me! I make it a point to make myself available to read my messages at least once a day. [/div] [div class="textblock" style="margin: 0px;"] My hard no's are furries (not my jam), misrepresentation of mental disorders, and shit research on sensitive subjects such as rape, abuse and the like. I'll do anime fc's or no fc's only. Beyond that, anything that isn't against ToS or just bad roleplaying is fair game. I don't really mind more mature topics. Unless you've established yourself in the scene, it's not really a viable means of livelihood. It's usually a one-person gig in real life, with most connections being strictly online. [/div] [div class="textblock"] This particular story revolves around a couple, one an utaite, the other a producer. Coincidentally, they wind up being next door neighbors and living in close quarters. Neither are aware of the other's involvement in the scene... until the producer accidentally overhears his next door neighbor singing along to his latest release. [/div] [div class="textblock" style="margin: 0px;"] I'd prefer to play the producer on this one, with parts of the story being rp'd out as like twitter messages towards each other. I think it'd be really cute if they knew each other online, but never knew their names or faces. As for additional cast members, I was thinking this could be one of those smaller slightly rundown apartment building with a quirky cast of characters as additional neighbors. Golden Sun isn't that well-known, but from a lore perspective, it isn't very heavy and I'll happily take the lead on the storytelling for this one. Honestly, you don't need to be super familiar with the series to participate. It's basically your typical save the world fantasy jrpg with a twist at the end. I've been feeling really nostalgic and would love it if someone played this with me! [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [div class="plotbox heartlinesbox fluff realistic modern original romantic"] [div class="plotimg" style="background-image: url(https://i.imgur.com/Xm734nv.jpg);"]sugarvine[/div] [div class="plotinfo"] [div class="plottitle"]heartlines[/div] [div class="plottags"]taken realistic modern fluff original romantic[/div] [div class="plotkeywords"]messages and missed calls | slight mystery[/div] [/div] [div class="plotdesc"] [div class="scrollbox" style="font-size: 1em; text-align: justify;"] [div class="textblock"] People wind up calling each other, though neither side claims to have done so. There's no rhyme or reason behind it. There's supposedly nothing wrong with their devices or their service providers. Someone's trying to play matchmaker with their cellphones! There's supposedly nothing wrong with their devices or their service providers. Someone's trying to play matchmaker with their cellphones! [/div] [div class="textblock" style="margin: 0px;"] A cute fluffy idea, heavily biased towards romance but I'm perfectly fine with friendship. They slowly understand that someone's been setting up them up, and investigate together. I like the idea of several ongoing connections on this one, with at least one being romance and the other being more around friendship. One can even be an attempt at fixing a family feud. If we choose to go romantic, the couple/s for this one can be of any gender pairing. [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [div class="plotbox thiefbox angst modern original romantic"] [div class="plotimg" style="background-image: url(https://i.imgur.com/wmI8Fu0.jpg);"]sugarvine[/div] [div class="plotinfo"] [div class="plottitle"]abscond[/div] [div class="plottags"]taken angst modern original romantic[/div] [div class="plotkeywords"]phantom thief x officer | picaresque | double lives[/div] [/div] [div class="plotdesc"] [div class="scrollbox" style="font-size: 1em; text-align: justify;"] [div class="textblock"] Set in some fictional place where I don't have to worry about jurisdiction rules, our officer is one of the many bodies tasked to handle the current sensation of the country. This is none other than the phantom thief, a daring and bold entity who's shrouded in shadow and mystery. As the officer finds herself foiled time and time again, the one who offers a listening ear to her struggles is her next door neighbor. What she doesn't know is that her workforce's target and the one winning over her heart are one and the same. [/div] [div class="textblock" style="margin: 0px;"] For this one, I'd really like to play the officer and do a heterosexual couple, as that's how I've always envisioned this plot. I want to play with the dynamic of an underestimated female officer, both by thief and her own peers. To add onto the cast, maybe her partner officer, and a tech-savvy friend for the thief, both of whose genders are open to anything. I have a more detailed vision for this particular idea, so if you're interested, ask! [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [div class="plotbox showbizbox angst modern original romantic realistic fluff"] [div class="plotimg" style="background-image: url(https://i.imgur.com/skcxEZx.jpg);"]sugarvine[/div] [div class="plotinfo"] [div class="plottitle"]exposure[/div] [div class="plottags"]angst modern original romantic realistic fluff[/div] [div class="plotkeywords"]bl | one-sided love | idol life | japan[/div] [/div] [div class="plotdesc"] [div class="scrollbox" style="font-size: 1em; text-align: justify;"] [div class="textblock"] The idol's a rookie to the scene, with only a year and a half in the limelight with his group. People have been calling him one of the most beautiful men in the country at the moment. People want him to grace their ads and magazine covers - but frankly, he's only interested in being the subject of one person's camera lens. [/div] [div class="textblock"] The photographer's been in the business since he was young, with a father that did the same work he's doing now. Now he has the luxury to select his shoots and subjects, where others might beg for any opportunity. He could see the beauty in people, even when the subject himself was blind to it. It's how he's built a name for himself. It's why the idol fell in love with him. [/div] [div class="textblock"] In one of his lowest moments pre-debut, the idol could barely look at himself as all he could see were his imperfections. But a candid snapshot of his smile and a handwritten note saying he was beautiful like this gave him the strength he needed to debut. Now he aspires to reach a point where he finally has the privilege to choose his photographer, and thank him for what he's given him. [/div] [div class="textblock" style="margin: 0px;"] As mentioned in the keywords, this is a BL story. I don't have a preference for either role, meaning I'll play whichever one you don't pick. If you have any plot pairings that occur in the same setting, we can easily integrate it. [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div]

someone just expressed interest in heartlines, but I'm willing to take on another person with the same plot if they choose to take a different approach. c:

Updated my thread on which ones have been taken. o; Heartlines is open to another interpretation still though!

I like both Heartlines and Golden Sun. I am not familiar with Golden Sun, but I do like the typical jrpg save the world games.

my professor today during class: "it's this theorem by this greek guy"
thank you for that valuable input professor
