Other whom may stop you.

Or, you could get the easy way.

Who knows, maybe you never end up with your love...

-----

Amy looked at the building. Jury High School. She clenched the paper in her hands. She was the new girl. She didn't like being the new girl either. She pulled her hair back, behind her hair, and slowly walked forward. Today was going to be a dreadful day. Wip-ee.

Tyler winked at a girl passing him. Girls just seemed to be magnets to him. He guessed it was his hair, that drooped in his eyes, and his eyes that seemed to pears through you. Tyler sucked in a breathe, and with-drawled it. He blinked, arriving to his locker.

Lauren smiled to herself as she walked down the school's halls as she talked with a friend over her phone with one hand while the other was stuffed on her pocket. "Fine, let's bet on it" Was the last thing she wrote before pushing the send button. She loved bets and gambles and right now she was pretty sure she would win that one. Excitement flashed on her green and blue eye as she stared at her phone's screen, waiting for a reply. She was even so focused on looking at it that she didn't even pay attention to what was in front of her.

(Yay! It started *^* Sorry I could only get one person though v.v)

Philip walked across the courtyard with a guitar in one hand and reading a book with the other. As he walked he heard some of the girls behind him try and call out his name to get his attention. He ignored them. "I really want to try this new thing on my guitar. I'll talk to them later." He thought to himself. Since this was Philip's second year at the school he knew where he was going like the back of his hand. "First I need to get to my locker and then I can go to the music room and practice". As he walked into the school he heard some girls gathering around one of the boys' lockers. With this Philip decided to take the longer way because he didn't want to interrupt anything. As he went round the corner, he saw a girl on her phone. He had seen this girl in his Maths class but he never knew her name."I'll talk to her, she may be in my classes." Philip said, completely forgetting about his music work. With this he put his book in his bag and waited until the girl realized his presence.

(It's fine, MaPoZg2596, I totally understand, happens to me too!)

Tyler punched in the combination. He opened his locker, and grabbed some books. He slammed his locker shut, and started walking away. A girl came up to him, batting her eyes at him. "Hey..." She said to him, flipping her hair around. Tyler took one look at her and said "Not interested." With no tone in her voice. He pushed the girl away, and walked away. He saw another boy (Philip) having about the same problem. Or about to. A girl was walking up to him. "Wow." He said, realizing it was the same girl who asked him to go out. Tyler rolled his eyes.

Amy bit her lip. She looked around, trying to find classes and her locker. "Hello?" She asked, trying to see if there was someone there she could ask questions about. She held her paper carefully, trying not to bend it.

Mcauley bounced down the hall, his book bag slung over his shoulder. "First day of school! First day of school!" he chanted excitedly as he made his way to his locker. Unlike every other student who most likely hated the first day of school, he loved it. He liked the bustling of people running down the halls. He liked the loudness between class periods. He just liked the fact of people being around him in general. He barely survived summer with only his younger brother to keep him company. Mind, he loved the kid, but Maverick needed more than just one small child to keep him company. He wasn't a person who liked being alone, the very opposite in fact.

As he turned the corner he noticed a group of guys leaning against some lockers, which were right next to his assigned one. They didn't look like a very good crowd, and he grimaced, his happy attitude quickly disappearing.

Lauren stuffed her phone on her pocket satisfactorily as she had read her friend’s last message “Good. The bet is on then” She ran her fingers through her lime’s hair with a smile on her face before stopping and tilting her head to the side as she noticed a strangely familiar guy’s presence. She had never talked with him, that was for sure, but she somehow felt she had seen him somewhere. She then noticed he seemed to be waiting for something and as she had felt his eyes on her before, she raised an eyebrow at him before speaking “Hi?” She said more like a question than a greeting.

(^^ Feel better now :D )

Flora stood at her locker mindlessly. Her brain wandered out of her head for a good 2 minutes before she realized she needed to put her things in her locker. She adjusted her glasses and bagan to do her combination which she read from the palm of her hand. The marker was close to fading so Flora had to decipher what numbers she was trying to write down this morning.

Before she could get it open some careless people "accidentally" bumped into her, letting her face smash into her locker door.

"Ack!" Was all she could mumbled while she pulled her face off the cold metal and covered her nose. Nothing was wrong, everything was okay, a little pain never killed anyone.

She looked around to see who did that but faces blended into the crowd and she decided it would be best if she let it go and just went to class.

Kristy hummed along to a song blasting through her headphones as she made her way across the courtyard. In her hands was a sketchbook she always kept with her and a pen in the other. In her opinion, you never know when you'll find a perfect opportunity and moment to draw. She stretched and continued to hum as she opened her locker. She was in a good mood and had no idea why.

"Sorry for the iteration Miss, but I saw your face and I couldn't tell who you are? Ermmm." Philip started to blush from embrasement. "Sorry again." With the embarrassment taking over, his body he walked away in a hurry, down the corridor, towards the music rooms. As he left the girl, his face was burning a bright red, making his state very visible to the girl.

Mcauley slowly made his way towards his locker. When he reached it, he noticed that one of the bigger guy's was leaning on it. With a sigh, he adjusted his book bag over his shoulder and was about to turn to leave when he heard a loud laugh from the group. "Hey! Look! It's the Scott from last year!" the biggest one, the leader, sneered. Mcauley frowned and looked down at his feet, ashamed. "I thought he got expelled last year for not being able to make any friends?" another one, a short but bulky one, added. "That was lame." said another, a tall one. Mcauley turned to leave, his head down and his shoulders hunched. "Hey, Scott! Come back! Let's play the Bagpipes together!" "I thought that was Ireland?" "No, you idiots! That's England!" "You're wrong! I'm pretty sure it's Scottland!" The bickering voices faded as Mcauley walked down the hall and around the corner. He ran into a boy with a guitar case walking the opposite direction as him.

As Philip went round the corner, he saw a younger boy but didn't register him; this was because he was still embarrassed from what happened with the girl. With this he almost walked him but just barely brushed him with his guitar case. Because of this small jump in, it made Philip re-adjust his bag with his shoulders. With this fine movement the book he was reading earlier fell out onto the floor. He didn't know this beccause he had his mind at different places.

"Sorry." Mcauley mumbled, but he didn't think the guy heard him. He watched as a book fell out of the boy's back and landed on the floor. When he didn't turn around to pick it up, Mcauley skipped forward, momentarily forgetting the teasing from before, and picked up the book. "Hey!" he called, looking up at the guy.

Flora headed right to her classroom without paying attention to anyone else. Well she sort of did. She just didn't say hello to anyone or try to make contact on purpose. The classroom was empty for the most part. Math was her first subject and she wasn't too great at it but she could work out the numbers if she tried.

She took a seat near a window and swung her legs back and forth slightly. She rubbed her face where it was pounded into her locker and smiled thinly. It would have been funny to see if only it wasn't her getting a mouth full of metal.

Philip stopped at the voice, which seemed to be directed at him. "Huh?" Philip said, not taking much interest. He turned to see the small boy holding his book. "Oh my book? Ah, thank you sir." He said happily, with this he went forward to collect the book. "May I have your name so I can thank you?" He continued with.

Mcauley blinked and smiled. "Mcauley Duncain, at your service." he said with a mock bow. He stood upright again and fixed his bag over his shoulder. The weight of it made his shoulders ache. He wondered if those boys were still around his locker.

"Well, why thank you sir Mcauley Duncain." Philip said as he followed it up with a smile. "My name is Philip Morris." He also followed this up with a bow. "Are you new at this school Mcauley?" He continued with happily; due to the fact that he might of made a new friend.

Mcauley frowned for a moment before his smile reappeared. He shook his head and shrugged. "No. I was here last year, too. Stuck to myself mostly, because... well... I don't really know why." he answered, scratching the back of his head. "Didn't really have many friends." he added sadly, his smile fading.

"Oh okay, well-"Philip paused due to the fact that he never has heard of this kid before and that he's never really been in a situation like this before. "-Well today that is gonna change." Philip replied with, trying to make that the response he was gonna give. "I'll be your friend. You did the nice gesture of helping me out so I am in your debt. And to repay it I will be your friend. Don't think as I'm forcing myself, I want to do this; I'm only saying that so you don't feel bad." Philip very proud of himself by that he's helping somebody. "I love his feeling of helping someone, it make me feel.." Philip lost his train of thought and offers a hand in friendship.

Mcauley stared at the outstretched hand, unsure of what to do. Maybe... Maybe I should try to make friends this year. Last year was just... He frowned at the thought, but quickly replaced it with a grin. He took Philip's hand to shake it. "A'rright," he began, nodding. "Yeah... Cool." he continued, his face one of pure excitement.

"So where you off to? I can take you to your locker if you want?" Philip said, trying to keep the excitement in from his new found friend.

Mcauley grimaced, a sense of dread taking over. "My locker...?" he glanced over his shoulder, down the hall. ".. I do have to put my books in there.... Sure, why not?" he replied half-heartedly. He shifted his weight from foot to foot, wondering whether or not his locker was free yet.

"Okay, you lead way." Philip noticed why that Mcauley body language completely changed. He didn't really knew what the problem was but he knew something was wrong. "What did I say? Was it the locker or something?" He said to himself.

Mcauley nodded and walked down the way he had originally come from. When he got to the end of the hall, he peered around the corner. There was only one person from the group left, the owner of the locker next to Mcauley's, he supposed. He braced himself and glanced over his shoulder at Philip before putting on a smile and bounding down to his locker.

Lauren had blinked at the guy’s sudden urge from walking away and could just say a small “Hey!” Before she lost sight of him, she had seen him blush and had wondered if she had said something wrong for embarrassing him like that “It’s okay?” She added though there was no one other than her on the hall at the moment. She scratched the back of her head before letting out a sigh.

Flora tapped her fingers on the desk lightly while glancing over at the door every so often to see who exactly was in her class. So far no one whom she liked, but the classroom was rather empty. There's probably still loads of time before people should start coming into classes Flora thought to herself. She just assumed what she thought was correct and didn't even bother to check the clock.
