Cause my long hair just can't cover up my red neck
I really don’t have much ideas for this, I’ve just been stuck on a futuristic au with one of my ocs, Credence Wade Crawford, and how in those stories where an ai is born for the first time or a alien is recovered on earth. They fall into the right hands most of the time, and I just think its be a fun angsty mess if that kind of character fell into Credence’s line of sight.
So.. who is he then? If that’s what I’m basing this request of off-
Credence, in his normal timeline, was a failure. He went to school to be a heart surgeon, first to impress his mother, and then he realized how much he enjoyed the idea of literally holding someone’s life in his hand. As well as the attention and approval he would certainly from others. Then he planned to study more into psychology and evolution, his big question being ‘can I make human infants as durable and useful as seen with young animals’. Basically why cant human babies come out and walk immediately(along with other traits), and can I make them?
But unfortunately none of this came to fruition as he was caught only months in, in an act of quid pro quo with one of his professors.
Around this time his father was murdered, and thanks to his odd personality and behavior, he was blamed, and so immediately upon coming home, he ran off deep into the woods. Built a house, and rotted there in depression and shame. Bringing in others, only to abuse them and to some. Even murder them in anger. (This may seem sudden or out of place but it has to do with his obsession over his mother and I just dont want to go on forever in case I’m wasting my time writing this.)
But, what if he didn’t get caught? And what if he was on the brink of a technological revolution?

Alright so what about your character and a plot? Of course if you have ideas dm, but as for me I have a handful
(this first one is kinda stolen from someone else’s post but Im adding my own stuff)
So Credence is, very obsessed with his mother and other romantic partners he had. I figured this would evolve into him commissioning replica robot models, meant to look and act just like them, for his ow comfort, but of course, if he could just settle with flaws, those partners would still be alive. So his home is filled with several copies of these robots. He destroys and attacks them, rips them apart for whatever reason he might currently have in that moment, never able to get rid of the left parts and just getting new ones to comfort him.
either A, your character is the first created ai. And he, out of desperation believes he could use or mold your character to become his mother and be her. Perfect as he thinks her to of been. Either y/c is junked and he steals them, or he steals them from the lab outright.
Or B y/c is one of the models that replicate one of his past lovers or even mother, and becomes sentient. Perhaps while he’s throwing his little temper tantrum and try to dismantle them.
And also the company or government he works for trying to control him or even kill him when he goes too far, as he’s such a disruptive and, I mean a ticking time bomb, why would they keep him around? He knows they can just copy off his brain(I think his life would have been artificially extended too, probably with pills he makes himsel) he’d be so terribly paranoid that he writes nothing down, keeps everything in, and takes nothing from nobody he cant trust. He’s terribly paranoid of everyone wanting to kill him, despite being suicidal more often than not. He really just fears being helpless and out of control. (Theyve also probably had to revive him a few times from successful attempts because his brain is so genius or whateva)
That’s kind’ve it. I’m just super obsessed with this idea rn and we could even double(which I always include side characters with my rps) but Im open to you even playing one of the children he’s trying to modify and force to be ‘better’. Him splicing animal genes with them could be interesting too, he’s a ruthless man.
Also Im not really looking for a romance and I’m 17.
