In a world of demons and humans, the ability to summon demons and form pacts with them come to be. But only a select few humans had the ability to summon, so schools were created to teach these generations the 'art' of summoning, magic, and demons.
Now Muse A is from a well-known summoner family but born without the magical capability to summon demons or form any pacts. A's family sent them to a summoner school at a young age, forcing them to go through the classes in hopes that they would develop the ability to summon. But years later and older now, Muse A still hasn't developed any magical abilities. Muse A is forced to stay in the school, their family wanting to keep their 'shame' away, going through every day without feeling like they belong.
Muse B is considered a high-level demon, ruling over one of the panels in the Inferno with an iron fist. They spent centuries making their name known and feared. That is until they hear a call, a summon, and for some reason, they can't resist it like many others they had before.
Muse is attending another class, forced to take the summoning test and expecting failure, that is until they spill more blood than needed on the summoning circle when they're bumped into by a fellow student. The unexpected happens, and the circle begins to glow.
They were summoning a demon.
