Concealed Plated Buff Jackets

Anyone got any mechanical guidelines to how to effectivly use the reinforced buff jacket with concealed plates.  In the main rulebook, it states (p.334): "...it also conceals the fact that the character is dressed for conflict and muffles the inevitable clank of the armor."

I'm not sure what you're looking for. Mechanically, the stats are all there, no?

Yeah, they are, its just that I'd like some ideas in the benefits for using the concealed version despite its extra fatigue value.

Has that cleared it up?  :?

Well, it makes for great diplomatic wear.  If, say, you're on a diplomatic mission to a region that has extreme hostilities towards wherever you're representing, its best to go armored, right?  Just in case?  But watch out, because if they notice you're armored, they might think you have something up your sleeves...

...hence, if you wear it, it reduces the chances of hostilities, and if there are hostilities, it reduces the chances of you dying.

Was that the type of answer you were looking for?

It also makes for great ambushes, since it not only conceals the armor visually, but muffles the sounds.  You may get a mobility penalty for Stealth rolls, but it won't be do to the sound, since its muffled.

Just start thinking of all the trouble armor gets you in because people see or hear it, and then imagine the possibilities without those problems...
