...And Operation Awkward is a go!


Uh yeah, my name is CommanderKisha, or Kisha if you prefer, and I'm sorta-not-really new here, so yay!


You might be wondering what I'm talking about, and I really don't blame you. I made an account here back in 2014, when I was still pretty new to roleplay and the Internet in general. I think I participated in about four roleplays before I kinda forgot about this site, and I'm honestly surprised anyone put up with me and my random, cliche characters because I was super immature back then. I swear, I really have changed!


Flash forward two years and I've returned with a little more roleplaying experience, a lot more hard-earned art and writing skill, and a way better and more original username.


I'm not super experienced with serious roleplay as most of mine were done casually with acquaintances on Deviantart or with my incredibly goofy and crazy real-life friends, in which we all go out of our way to make things as stupid and bizarre as possible, haha. I am more than willing to learn though, and while my writing isn't perfect, it's not atrocious either, so I do believe there's hope for me yet lol.


Basically I'm pretty excited to be here, and hopefully I don't screw up royally and make y'all hate my guts since it's like 4 am and I'm on an insomnia kick.

I pity all who have insomnia, yet envy them at the same time. I sleep a lot when I feel depressed, but when I'm aight, sleep is awesome. Hard thing to balance.


Anyway, welcome back! I feel your pain with the immaturity, personal experience. I know it hurts. We'll get through what's left of it together.


Speaking of which, if you'd like to mess around roleplaying any random shit or just chat right now, I'm absolutely open. I'm hard pressed to find an open roleplay I like that doesn't die, so I'm happy to say the circumstances have put my own social awkwardness on the back burner, which leaves me open for steamin' hot, fresh bods such as yourself.

Eh, as weird as it sounds, insomnia is what you make it lol. Sometimes I use it to further my creative endeavours, but most of the time it's just scrolling the net and wondering how the heck I'm still awake at 3 am.

I'm always up for roleplaying random shit and chatting lol so yeah, that would be cool with me! I haven't yet dragged myself far enough out of the awkward corner to really check out the current roleplays, but going off my memories, that's a pretty common problem.


I'm probably gonna set up a couple of my own eventually, but I'm totally up for whatever lol, though I am a tad bit rusty

My biggest issue, aside from motivation, is commitment. I'm not proud of it. I'm that douche that abandons things and disappears for weeks or months with no warning. I don't know why ;____;

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.

Yeah I know that feel, I've unfortunately done that before. I get depressed or anxious or forget, and it's all downhill after that. I'm turning over a new leaf though, and so far I've been able to be pretty consistent lol.


We can for sure move to PMs, I might be a little slow to respond since I have to get my 10 posts and all that stuff.
