Happy Necromancer
The Year is 2036, two years after the Firestorm Crisis that occurred after the Second Tiberium War between the forces of the Global Defense Initiative(GDI) and the Brotherhood of NOD. The war ended in a decisive victory for GDI after they managed to not only kill the Brotherhood's leader, the infamous and glorious Kane, but also stop the tiberium missiles that would have transformed the planet into a tiberium wasteland and allowed the followers of Kane to ascend.
Afterwards, one of Kane's most loyal followers, Anton Slavic managed to pull the brotherhood back together until by the combined blunders of both GDI and NOD, they were mislead and tricked by NOD's former AI, CABAL into allowing it to gain the ultimate power of the Tactitus and attack not only both powerful faction, but also The Forgotten and civilians, turning anyone that they didn't kill into loyal cyborgs. Much of NOD's leadership was killed in the ensuing chaos and GDI was cut off from it's most powerful tools due to the uprising occurring during a very powerful ION Storm discounting the use of ION cannons on CABAL's fortress.
Through the eventual teamup between GDI and NOD, they were able to take out CABAL, but not before taking a large amount of casualties, especially the forces of NOD who attacked from the more heavily defended side of the fortress. Whether that was a ploy by Slavic to weed out less than loyal followers was a subject of heated debate afterwards. After taking out the rogue AI, NOD went back into the shadows in order to rebuild and wait once again for the time to strike.
Self appointed General Jasper Heckrym was formerly a commander within NOD. A true loyalist whose parents had been loyal followers of Kane back when GDI was merely made up from an alliance of world powers, before the infestation of tiberium grew to the size that it was on the planet. With the death of Kane and the mishandling of the Brotherhood that Anton Slavic caused, he decided that he would leave with what forces were loyal to him and stake out a claim in the world. He eventually set up Scorpion Base, a waystation that was open to all walks of life. Former GDI, Former NOD, The Forgotten, and even everything in between. He doesn't have much, but he is planning on something big. He found something that might just give him an edge, even more so than when Warlord Vega found and captured that Alien ship.

Hello everyone. This is an RP that I've been wanting to try out for a while. It takes place in the Command and Conquer universe two years after FireStorm but long before Command and Conquer 3. The other characters will be either people who come to Scorpion Base, either because they were former NOD soldiers that followed him off on his own, former GDO soldiers that have become disillusioned due to CABAL, Members of the Forgotten (People that have been altered by Tiberium and heal from it instead of dying), or even spies that have been send to gather information, etc. The possibilities are endless for characters.
During this RP, there will be mysteries as to the nature of Tiberium, the aliens that left that warship, and a mysterious relic that was found by General Heckrym. There will also probably be fighting, intrigue, and possible romance (If applicable).
Positions(Other positions not listed will also be considered)
Communication Officer
Doctor/Medic
Mechanic
Head Scientist
Bartender
Trader
Terminology:
Global Defense Initiative: Originally formed as a world peacekeeping force in order to fight major terrorism. As the tiberium spread among the plant and countries began to collapse, GDI stepped up and became a Provisional World Government. They field the most highly trained troops and wield the most powerful power armor and mechs to combat the continued insidious growth of both the Brotherhood of NOD and the mutating wildlife in the Red and Yellow zones. These troops are given the best training and chosen from among a large selection of troops. They heavily guard the areas that are quickly being known as Blue Zones, areas that have remained pristine against the Tiberium Infestation.
The Brotherhood of NOD: Though it was known to have started as both a terrorist group and religious organization with extremely deep pockets and the ability to put up major resistance against an organization such as GDI, it has been said that it actually goes back much further as a secret society formed by Kane. The man is said to have even been an advisor to Joseph Stalin during the Second World war against the Allies. The Brotherhood gains such large funding from being the first to research Tiberium when it landed on Earth and took full advantage of all of its benefits. They push the limits of what can be gained from Tiberium and use it in a variety of ways.
While NOD is not always on the same level of mechanized front line warfare, they do posses many subversive ways to combat the enemy and also prefer to use misinformation and stealth technology most of all. NOD appeals to all walks of life from those that feel that they have been disenfranchised or left in dangerous areas. Their basic troops are made up of anyone and everyone that wants to fight and is willing to take a gun. The more elite troops go through severe and rigorous training, but those are far fewer. They tend to reside in Yellow Zones
The Forgotten: The Forgotten are those that had been slightly mutated by the spread of tiberium and lived. They are capable of walking through tiberium fields unharmed and in fact, are healed by it instead of injured. They tend to scavenge weapons, armor and vehicles to use for their own ends. They even tend to go so far as to upgrade basic cars and vans with powerful armors and weapons to aid in the attacks. Their bases are made up of a hodge podge of whatever works. Their warriors are those that have been disenfranchised by both GDI and NOD for being different. While they are starting to find small acceptance from GDI, it is often not enough. They are a fierce people who try to protect themselves as best a they can. They tend to live in both Yellow and Red zones.
Tiberium: Tiberium is an invasive mineral that feeds off of nutrients in the ground and air to make more of it. It is harmful to both human and animal life, mutating and killing most things and even transforming the landscape. It can be harvested, but it always comes back. Sonic research is starting to show some success in driving back Tiberium.
