Barry is a variation of Superman from a different universe. He had never come to earth. His home planet didn't explode.He served in the Kryptonian military special forces. His father Jor El was killed in a deadly invasion by a neighboring clan of hostile beings that was after a secret formula that Jor El was working on that could give amazing powers and self regenerating qualities to any Kryptonian.After a two day war of epic destruction and death Barry Richards found the formula that his father had given his life to keep from the ravenous invaders.Barry took the formula and became an energy consuming dynamo with unbelievable powers that single handedly defeated the invading forces.But before he could defeat the massive force of powerful invaders Barry was killed several times only to revitalize in an even more powerful state until neither the weapons or the awesome powers of the evil forces could do a thing to stop him.The council members was joyous over the destruction of their foes but they were also deeply terrified over what Barry Richards had become.They held an emergency council meeting and decided to send Barry away for the safety of the people of Krypton.Barry's mother, Lara protested and was seized by the security forces led by General Zod. Barry became enraged and killed a great number of military soldiers. It was near impossible to stop Barry, but for a device that his father Jor El had been working on that could transport a person into another universe. When Barry came to he was on the planet earth with a large portion of his memory lost. He will have to try to remember who he is and where he came from all alone. At heart, Barry is as good as they come. But the affects of the unknown formula has caused him to have angry and sometimes violent outburst that could bring an entire world to the brink of destruction. What will be the end for the son of the brilliant scientist Jor El? Story by Barry Richards. 7/14/21
