I’m not sure what this falls under? Journal or chitchat? I feel it’s both because I’m gonna be talking about myself and also my past. But also looking for people to talk to and to engage with
Ok so… I Like to think of myself as simple? Then again everyone thinks I’m a tad complicated without even meaning to be. Not in a bad way? It’s just if you ever meet me irl… I’m quite literally a little bit of everything.
I’m WHATS known as NOTH. Half goth half nerd. But I found out the type of goth I am is leaning towards the romantic goth cuz that’s one of the only goths with red in it and I do love corsets.
I like the outfit style of goths. And I quite literally been a goth since high school but my mom never let me dress the way I wanted to. Saying no this no that no no no no. Do this your grounded do that your grounded blah blah blah. So I would sneak the very few black clothes I had to school or I would just wear my big poofy men’s black jacket my dad gave me. All freaking day. Even during the summer. But then this is where it gets weird and my nerd side kicks in.
I like Anime so i have tons of anime clothes. My favorite being this
Im also a nerd for history and cultures. So not only do I have anime collectibles everywhere. I also have Asian decor. Fine china. Egyptian decor. Those old small ship models. And dragon statues.
Not just that but my entire family has been in the military. So I’m a huge military supporter. I wanted to follow in my brothers footsteps and go to the Air Force Right out of graduation just like him. But I have so many disabilities I wouldn’t have lasted. So to make up for it I wear stuff like my hat that says “I’m a proud daughter of a navy veteran” for my dad and I’m admist the process of making a hoodie or something that says “proud sister of a Air Force veteran”
Now I’m mentioned I’m goth right? I like creepy things. But I found it’s only to an extent. Because I have night terrors I can’t watch too many horror movies but I watched penny wise which was ok? and watching several of the saw movies was a huge mistake because of the aftermath when I slept but totally worth the half the year of night terrors. But I do like people in costumes like killer clowns and stuff like that. Some of them are pretty cool. If you ever go on tiktok and see the people dressed as demons and stuff or just in a killer outfit being sweet and kind that always makes me smile. Cuz it’s contradictory. But also heart warming.
Halloween is my favorite time of year! I love skeletons and all the cool decorations! I love going to haunted houses or maze’s. Or a haunted trail. Those I’m ok with. My dad takes me to one every year! That one time I wore heels tho was a mistake- *SPLAT* ehem anyways
Tho even tho I’m all about black and creepy things and also the dark aesthetics. I cant help but stop every time I see a bottle of glitter or something cute. And the goth in me is like EW but then I have the nerd. Artist. and also the kid in me going “YES MAKE ART WITH IT BUY IT WE NEED IT” I’m always worried that if I buy cutesy things people won’t consider me goth. Which Yknow is one part of me.
I also love to roleplay DUH and costumes aswel do I’m like I WANNA GO TO A LARP!
If any of you don’t know what LARP is it stands for “Live Action RolePlay” basically you go to a park in costume and roleplay with people in real time. Kinda like acting out a play except there’s no script.
I’m Anthropomorphic or “anthro” I like to go by anthro because a lot of people don’t really know what that is. It’s basically a furry but people use the word furry in hate crimes so I like to go by something that people who will be a hater won’t know and you can talk to the people first to see who would be a hater and who wouldn’t. Before telling them what a anthro is.
I’m bi sexual. Poly. Genderless/gender neutral some other things I’m sure I’m forgetting cuz I haven’t explained to people for so long.
I’m a gamer. I like Games. Undertale and Minecraft being my top 2 favorites.
I’m sure there’s more but I think this is a good stopping place for now.
