Futuristic Collected- Keep Calm and Join my Private Army! (A futuristic isekai with varied character origins)

Ten years ago in Arknest, a world much like ours might become, a profusely rich demagogue in an already kleptocratic country commissioned a secret project. Under the guise of building an amusement park and resort, he built a facility the likes of which haven't been seen in his own world; That's because he and his underlings have pillaged parallel universes in hopes of commanding a legion with which to overtake his economic and political competition once and for all.
Now a whole bunch of random people from foreign worlds are stuck in his menagerie of impending war, with even more coming in every now and then, and no known way to get home.

Did the villain choose who to take from each universe or was it random? Did he pick up ordinary (but presumably able-bodied) people to make up his army or is he also sitting on like a collection of wizards and superhumans in cells somewhere that he can bend to his will (or so he thinks)? Is the focus of the story going to initially be on life in prison or is the obvious escape and rebellion going to kick in pretty quick?

It's random, so he's got a wide array, including plants, animals, and inanimate objects even. In terms of people, he has all kinds pretty much. He's got humans and nonhumans, each with different ability levels from the others. He's even got some with disabilities. His team are working on ways to streamline the process and choose more useful fighters, supporting roles, and tools from the other worlds, but currently it's still random.

Is the focus of the story going to initially be on life in prison or is the obvious escape and rebellion going to kick in pretty quick?

I'm flexible on this, but there's definitely an in-rp intake process to separate the prisoners based on their category of usefulness.

There isn't any in terms of age of the roleplayer.
I try to be as inclusive as I can be, and while I know that some people are uncomfortable rping outside their general age group, I also know that it majorly sucks being unable to join a roleplay for what can feel like, and even be, a very arbitrary reason.

That being said, employees have some age restrictions depending on their position, as there are in-universe child labor laws and education requirements.
I plan on making one of my employee characters a 16-year old janitor, but other positions, like security and medics, would need to be older in-rp. You're still free to rp in those kinds of positions if you're younger on this side of the fourth wall, but your characters have to be a suitable age.
