Because of this, the demands for more and more resources had grown for its leaders. They had always had a strained relationship with the kingdom, since the beginning year that they were forced into the kingdom, but one of the breaking points was when an attempt to replace the ruler of the island with someone else. The attempt was cut down, but the damage was done. And with the winter coming up and the houses getting their resources stolen from, the islands decided to rise up and go against the kingdom.
