• — collision: an elemental story

  You are special.
  
  Whether you know it or not, you have magic. Elemental magic, to be specific. Once in every generation, someone is chosen by the elements themselves to harness that magic. No matter what your background is, no matter where you come from, if you're destined to be the one, the magic will find you. You'll wake up one morning or could even be at work or hanging out with friends when it happens. You'll feel a burning sensation somewhere on your body, and when you investigate, you'll find a tattoo has formed in that spot.
  
  It's the mark of your element.
  
  It cannot be removed or covered up. You're stuck with it, and the magic that comes with it. Gaining magic can be a wonderful thing, but as they say, all magic comes with a price. The price hanging over your head might be different than someone else's, but ultimately, you're drawn to the others like yourself. The tattoo will guide the way to the others, but being in the same place can also be dangerous. You have to protect your brothers and sisters, because someone is after you and your magic. You can't let them win.

  Hello again! It's your resident trash pandas, back at it with another roleplay. There will be a list of the roles we're looking for on the next page. Two of the roles have already been taken, and those are noted. We're hoping for four females and four males at the end, but the roles are not genderlocked so you're welcome to apply for any gender.
  
  On that note, when making your character you have alot of creative freedom with their background. Our elementals are the only ones of their generation, but that doesn't mean they're the only ones who know about the magic. So your character could have been raised with someone who used to be an elemental, or maybe someone further back in their family tree was an elemental. Maybe their family knows about the elemental magic but never knew an elemental themselves. Or maybe they don't know anything about the magic, and they've never once thought they could be special like that. However you decide to make them is up to you!
  
  There is going to be a big bad, someone after the elementals and their magic. Each elemental has a stone that encompasses their magic and makes it stronger, but as of right now, those stones are lost. A part of the roleplay is going to be the elementals trying to find those stones, before the big bad gets them and wins. For those stones, you're welcome to choose anything from a random gemstone of your choice to a freakin' unicorn horn. Go wild with it!

I'd like this RP to last and people hate being rushed. But at the same time, I want this roleplay to be active, so if you aren't going to be active, please do not express interest or make a CS. I get that things come up, that's not what I'm talking about.
  
  2. We are looking for a small group of people, the exact number is tbd.
  
  3. There will be a 2 paragraph minimum per post.
  
  4. There will be a discord for ooc. This is mandatory.

  6. This is not first come, first serve. My co-gm and I will be picking characters based on who we think will best fit.
