Fantasy (Closed to first/Vampire&Slayer/Romance) Can enemies become friends again?

Michibear

Michi
Michelle Waters was only twelve when she became a vampire slayer with her best friend, (First & Last name here), who was only twelve as well. They were inseparable. They always spent time together, slayed vampires together, traveled together, etc. They had big plans for their future. They were going to go to college, host parties, and grow old together

Their connection started in kindergarten and grew stronger when their parents were murdered by vampires when they were only eight years old. Their parents had been at Michelle’s house, enjoying a kid free night. The two only survived the ordeal because they had been at a mutual friend’s combined birthday party and sleepover.

Ever since the moment they received the news from the slayers in their community, they have been bound and determined to get rid of the vampire population. It took them a year to convince the nearest group of slayers to train them at such a young age. They proved their worth though. The two learned quicker than most slayers who were starting at the fresh age of eighteen. It made it even more amazing that the two continued their schooling while training.

That all changed one day though when they both were eighteen. They had been sent to kill a very powerful vampire. The other slayers thought the friends could handle it since they had excelled in training, but they were wrong. The friends got separated during the fight. They never saw each other again after that, not until years later that was.

Her friend assumed that she was dead, which was probably for the best. They were enemies by the nature. It would have made it harder for Michelle to cope with the fact of what she had become if her friend knew what she was. It was the only blessing to living life as the creature she hated most and had destroyed her family.

—------------------------------------

Michelle was now twenty-four, which meant her friend was also twenty-four.

Michelle still wished almost daily that she could see her friend again but she knew she could not. He was a slayer and she was a vampire. She felt so lucky that she had been able to keep the vampire from that night distracted long enough for him to get away.

The offending vampire was still out in the world. Michelle didn’t know where he was, but if she found him she was going to somehow get revenge. She didn’t know how she would do it, but she would accomplish it nonetheless, even if she had to give a tip off to the slayers.

It wasn’t all bad though. Michelle had met two vampires who were twin brothers, Alexander and Chris, not long after her transformation. They were way more experienced than her. They were thirty in human years but were turned when they were eighteen. The siblings took her under their wing and taught her how to survive as a daywalking vampire. In return she taught her new brothers some of the tricks slayers used against vampires.

----------------------------------------

Michelle smiled as she leaned over and handed a little eight year old girl a lollipop. "There you go." She said happily. "Thank you!" The girl screamed with happiness as she ran away giggling.

Michelle stood up and stretched. This was one of the few things she did nowadays in her free time, giving free lollipops away at festivals; it was something she and (name) used to do when they first became slayers. They did many things back then to be nice to little kids. It was almost as if they were trying to heal from their own childhood by seeing other children ecstatic over simple things such as lollipops.

Michelle's throat was burning immensely. There were so many humans around and their scent was overpowering. It was a fine balance to keep herself in control. She wasn’t too worried though. She knew that she would be fine as she had been able to control herself relatively well for the past five years and knew her limits. Her first year as a vampire was a struggle, but it allowed her many learning opportunities. She couldn’t wait to get home and drink one of her blood bags though. It would feel amazing to soothe her burning throat.

As Michelle was stretching she noticed a few people staring at her. She had seen these people each day of the festival so far, so about four days. It wasn’t odd that people stayed at this festival for more than one day, but it was unusual that there was always one of these people around. The festival was huge and there were plenty of activities to do.

Michelle felt like she was being watched, but every time she spotted those people, they were never looking directly at her. Maybe she was overreacting, but her instincts as a vampire were telling her that there was something up.

She noticed someone new talking to one of the people that had been here since day one. She didn’t think anything of it at first because it was normal to talk to others, and she didn’t know their relationship. However, she began to worry a little when this new person started to watch her as well when the last one left.

After a while Michelle took a good look at the person watching her now. Her mouth dropped open a bit as she stared at him. She hadn’t seen that face in six years, not since that fateful night. If it was him then she and her brothers were in danger.

She was awakened out of her daze when a little six year old boy tugged on her dress. She smiled at him, acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary. She bent down to the child’s level. "What's your name?" She asked sweetly.

"Joseph." He said, smiling. He looked so cute and innocent. Michelle knew that as long as she was at the festival where so many innocent people were around, they would not take a chance in attacking her. That was if this person was even who she thought he was.

"Well Joseph," Michelle said with a smile, reaching into her bag and taking out a lollipop, "This is for you." Joseph took the lollipop and giggled as he ran to his parents. The festival was coming to a close for today, so they were getting ready to leave.

As nighttime drew closer the crowds slowly dispersed, only stragglers were left. Michelle made her way to the employee only section of the fair. She put her bag of lollipops in their designated spot then recorded her volunteer time on the sheets. She may be a creature she dislikes and one that most people want to destroy, but that doesn't mean she couldn’t volunteer her time to try and spread a little happiness.

Michelle collected her backpack and put on her jacket. She said good night to a few of her human friends then put her hood up and began her walk home. She let her long, brown hair drape over the sides of her face, hopefully concealing her identity.

Two years ago, she and her brothers had rented an apartment on the outskirts of town. So far no slayers had bothered the three siblings. They tended to keep a low profile as much as possible. They just wanted to live a peaceful life and do things to counteract the actions of their nature.

Michelle pulled out her cell phone and called Chris. Of course he didn’t pick up, why she called him first she will never know. She sighed as she began to call Alexander, who picked up almost immediately. “Hey, I was going to ask you to lay out my food, but I might need a ride home. I could check the bus schedule and see if there are any buses running at this time that would take me closer to home.” She stayed on the well-lit sidewalk, weaving in and out of the festival goers that were also walking home.

Michelle didn’t know if she was being followed. Her hopes were to stay in relatively populated areas, even if they were just a few humans. Slayers typically liked to avoid involving normal humans. “I think the hunting show is on tonight.” This was their code phrase for slayers.

(Michelle and your character used to be best friends before she was turned into a vampire, though he didn't know she was one until he saw her at the festival. He doesn’t per say have proof that she is one, but he thought she was dead and it would explain why she hasn’t contacted him if she was alive.

When it is more confirmed that she is a vampire, he will have to attempt to kill her. He doesn't want to kill her but he has to because he is ordered to do so. He is going to try to kill her a few times, at least once, and it is never successful until finally he gets a chance to kill her but he cannot. Even with what she has become, she is still his best friend and he realizes (or Michelle points out) that the siblings do not harm others/try to do good deeds.

So after not killing her they become best friends again, secretly of course, but then they also start to fall in love. Their friendship and love starts to test boundaries and the people around them because normally slayers and vampires don’t mix. We can do a few different things when it reaches this point. Such as, we can have the other slayers of his group come to an understanding that she and her brothers do not harm others and make an exception for them. We can also turn your character into a vampire and have to flee his previous life. We could also possibly even try to recruit the vampires to the slayer side if that is what you fancy.

POSSIBLE IDEAS:

If you are unsure of how to continue from where I left off, you could get Michelle’s attention and try to get info, such as info on the town. Your character could just be suspicious of how much my character looks like his old friend and wants to investigate that. I don’t mind what you do, I just want to start off somewhat slowly. I don’t want the slayers to immediately know that she is a vampire and your character to not immediately assume, or point out, without proof that she is indeed his old friend. Looks and name could be a happenstance. The slayers have only received reports of possible vampire activity, which ironically wasn’t even about the siblings. No names were provided, and only vague appearance details were provided.

Option:

If you want to have the characters know each other immediately, your character and the slayers cannot immediately know that my character is a vampire. My character would lie about where she has been the last six years and they “work together” to find the vampires in the area until he inevitably finds out that she is a vampire herself.)

(I can double with this thread, a female character of yours could romance one of the brothers. I can also do fxf if that is what you prefer. If you have any questions or want to plan out the roleplay some more, you can message me. I know I have put a lot of information above. You can also message me for a repost!)
