Welcome to my search thread! My pronouns are she/her and I'm 20 years old as of this update. I'm looking for a casual to semi-lit roleplay, mainly looking to use OCs in fandom or original stories. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, please keep reading⋆｡°✩

  I'm currently in full-time studies and have quite a busy schedule this term. I'm the most active in the evening and can respond to OOC chatter daily, but I like to take my time for replies. Typically, you can expect 1-2 replies per week from me, though that depends on my partner as well. If there's a rough week or weeks ahead I'll always give you a heads up if there's gonna be a break between replies!
  
  Since I'm used to semi-lit roleplays I range from about 400-800 words per post. Since I don't reply very quickly, I try to make sure there's enough to respond to and it moves the story in a meaningful way (unless it's an action or dialogue scene that relies more on character interaction). However, I'm also down for a more relaxed, light-hearted story if you want to approach me with one!
  
  In terms of pairings and characters I play, I have absolutely zero preferences. Male, female, gender fluid, I write 'em all. For me, I prefer to create a character after discussing the plot, and will make completely new characters for every roleplay. I take about 5 minutes to find a face claim... I have no idea what it's like to be emotionally attached to a specific OC. Does that make me a sOCiopath? I'm sorry... I don't do doubling or OC x Canon but I love writing side characters.
  
  I like focusing on a few central themes in an original roleplay, sometimes on the darker end, and putting characters through difficult situations that challenge their views. Give me some internal conflict... personal struggle... incompatible morals... the only thing sweeter than physical agony is internal agony♡. Some examples of things I'd like to explore are: religious trauma, internalized homophobia, grief, power/class dynamics, revenge, and crime. I don't have any triggers, but I'll always discuss boundaries before diving into a roleplay.

  It'd be nice to roleplay with someone with a similar schedule (1-2 times a week) so they're not waiting too long for a reply from me. I don't mind however frequently my partner is able to respond, but it may be difficult to maintain interest in an RP that's not moving at a pace you're used to or compared to other ones you're doing. That's completely up to your discretion, though!
  
  I'm not a stickler for response length as long as I have something to work with. The last thing I want is a partner to feel obligated to match my reply length (whether writing more or less than what they usually) because roleplay should never be a chore! Write as much as you want! Or, if I come at you with a wall of text (I promise the wall is full of Cool shit that is Relevant *sobs*) don't feel like you have to respond with something equally long. Insert obligatory *no one-liners* because in the one-in-a-thousandth chance that I end up receiving one of those, I'm gonna stare at it for 12 seconds and PM you, "hey i think you accidentally pressed reply".
  
  Like I mentioned before, any pairing = good. I'm also LGBTQ+ friendly and like to explore themes relating to these experiences, so I will get along better with someone who's open to queer pairings and characters (not to say that the roleplay has to have LGBTQ+ themes).
  
  Dark themes! Not having them is not a deal-breaker for me, I'm up for lighter stories too. As long as there's a drive/plot that keeps it interesting. Please let me know of any triggers as well, so we can maintain a safe roleplaying space.

  These are a few plots I keep in my back pocket.
  
  "grounded" | character A x character B
  (A) comes from the high-tech, floating city in the sky. Each one of the city's many islands are able to levitate due to the power drawn from the planet below, though the exact details are kept a council secret. One day, (A) gets falsely accused of treachery and is banished. They are thrown (literally) out of the sky and fall hazardously towards the ground, only to be saved by (B), a native of the planet. They decide to help each other out and clear (A)'s name, on the way finding out the true nature of the grand civilization that rules from above.
  
  "thicker than water" | demon x royalty (platonic or romantic)
  Making bonds with demons is a rare, but accepted practice among certain villages in the kingdom. They are said to be able to reverse the effects of curses and provide formidable protection against harm, physical or magical. To the aristocrats and nobles of the capital, it was nothing but heresy of course, but in the midst of a war with the neighboring crown, the king does the unexpected. He decides that he must protect his only successor by permanently bonding a demon to their soul while they're still a baby. The demon performs its duty and saves the baby from multiple attempts at its life, and years after the war ends, the successor inherits their father's throne, albeit with a rather unconventional adviser at their side.
