Realistic or Modern Cleartown High

"Oh, let's go to Joe's Diner! I want some burgers!" Kay grinned, her eyes lighting up at the thought of yummy food.

She grabbed Nemo's wrist and began pulling him along. "I'm getting hungry." She smiled back at him.

Kayleigh laughed and walked with him, but held on to his wrist. "They have the most amazing double cheeseburger!" She squealed.

Finally, they got to the diner. Kay let go of his hand and opened the door. "After you, kind sir."

"Woah" Leah says in awe as she looks at the building. "This is so cool." She says, hardly containing her excitement as she bounces up and down slightly.

Nick opens the door for her; hearing the bell reminding him of every time he'd ever come here when he was a kid, back when Destiny's mom owned the shop. He walked in after her, smiling at the familiar surroundings. It was dark inside and smelled like incense, books lining shelves and weird ornaments littered all over. A black cat yowls in the corner, and in the middle of the room there's a large circular table. Chairs were littered around the room. Obviously there was more to the shop, but they were in different rooms. Destiny was nowhere to be seen.

Nemo blushes and stares at the ground. "Shouldn't I be the on to hold the door for you?" He asks. He wouldn't know how great the double cheeseburgers were here. He only ever ordered milkshakes and fries. He walks in and chooses a small booth in the far, back corner.

Kay waved him off as she slid into the booth across from him. "Who said we need to do what society expects us to do?" She grinned at him as the waitress came over.

"One double cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake, please." She told her and turned to Nemo. "What would you like?"

(Y'know I have a friend named Nemo? Well, his name is Naeem and we call him Nemo :D )

Leah takes in her surroundings, the smell of the incense almost overpowering. She looks at the bookshelves, and wonders what types of books they might have here, then she turns to Nick. "Let me guess, there's a random doorway with some kind of beads hanging down somewhere in here." She says raising her eyebrow.

Nick smiles and opens his mouth to say something, before he hears, yes, the rustling of beads from a doorway. Destiny enters the room, a small fragile looking brunette. She's wearing a brightly coloured dress, and walks over and hugs Nick. "You brought guests." She turns to look at Leah and raises her eyebrow, almost judgingly, before laughing and smiling. "Welcome, Telleah Moon?"

Leah smiles, then holds out her hand. "You're Destiny, and I don't know your last name." She says, then bites her lip. She wanted to look around some more, but she didn't want to seem odd in front of Destiny so she just restrained herself.

((I'll be leaving soon, and I'll probably be back in three hours or so))

"Its Rumancek, same as Nikoli's," Destiny smiles and shakes her hand, "Feel free to look around, you're bursting with curiosity." Nick sits down on a large chair and puts his feet up on the table, Destiny walks over to a mini fridge and opens it. "Can i interest anyone in a beer?"

((Okay :) ))

(I am back! Well.... Kind of. I'm laying on my dads couch and I'm on my phone.)

Ashton runs her fingers through her hair. Her stomach growls and she sighs. 'I'll walk to the diner...' She mumbles. She stands up and walks out of her house and towards the nearest diner. As soon as she gets there she takes a seat near the entrance asking for some fries.

Nemo smiled. "Yea, I suppose so." He listened as Kay ordered and looked up at the waitress. "Uh, another chocolate milk shake and an order if fries." His voice was shaky and it had taken all of his confidence to order. He looked back at the table, a little shaky and light headed.

Lupa watched the group walk by, taking a note of how Reese seemed to get a bit rougher whenever that group crossed his path. She wondered why, for a moment. She smiled slightly "Sure, if you want to. I could go, though, if you've got something you need to be doing." she replied. "Thanks for showing me around, by the way." she said, glancing down, blushing again. She didn't really like having to thank people for things, but she was too timid to just accept things like that.

Leah walks happily over to the bookshelf and looks around. When Destiny asks if anyone would like a beer her eyebrows raised. "No thank you. I'm only 16." She says before continuing to look in the bookshelf, finding a lot of interesting things.

Destiny smiles and hands one over to Nick before getting one for herself and closing the fridge, she sits down across from him, messing about with her playing cards. Nick opens his beer and takes a sip happily, he stands up and walks over to Leah. "So its Telleah, and not just Leah?" He smiles and leans against the bookcase.

Reese looked at Lupa. "What time do you need to be home?" He asked her. It was already 4:30, but he didn't want to go home. He'd probably just sleep in his truck, parked here at the park again. He hated to go home and listen to his bickering mother. It was too much.

Ashton smiles as her order of fries is served and she takes one, taking a small bite. She taps her foot nervously and shakes her head. "He's not going to show up here..." She mumbles to herself.

Kay noticed his expression change after ordering. "Are you alright, Fishy?" She asked, genuinely concerned. She was the one who dragged him here. She'd hate to make him uncomfortable.

Leah smiles at Nick. "Yeah, but Leah is easier to say." She says, then pulls a book off of a shelf and looks it over. "It's so awesome in here." She says looking around as if she was in heaven.

Nick smiles at her and goes back and sits with Destiny, her cards on the circular table spread out in an arc. "It's not much, but its home." Destiny calls over and smiles, then scolds Nick for moving some of her cards before leaning forwards in her chair and letting Nick look at them; letting him pick.

Lupa smiled, shrugging "Probably before the street lights come on. That's my brother's typical rules." she said. "Though, if he knew I was around a boy, he'd probably have a panic attack and demand I come home the moment schools over." she added, some amusement coloring her tone. "What about you?" she asked, looking over at him.

Leah opens the book in her hands, and blows the dust off of the pages. "Wow." She says, then walks slowly over to Destiny. "Sorry to interrupt, but do you think I could check out this book?" She asks the girl who was busy with her playing cards, hoping she wasn't being bothersome.

Nemo shook his head. "No in fine. Just give me a moment." He breathed a little and felt somewhat better. "Sorry." He directed towards Kay quietly. "How was your first day if school?" He asked simply.

Reese laughed. "Never." And he left it at that. He looked over at Lupa. "Just what would your brother do? Other than have a panic attack?" He asked, leaning towards Lupa and smiling, caressing her face. His eyes were charming, full of passion.

Lupa turned scarlet red, "P-probably just have a panic attack. Though, he might faint. My little siblings, the twins, they faint when they get overly excited or scared, so it'd make sense Bennett does as well. It seems to pass over the females in the family, though. I don't know why, genetics are weird like that!" she said, sounding more and more panicked as she continued. She had no idea how to respond to his actions, since she'd known him a day, and he didn't really seem the type to actually be interested in a relationship, though she didn't actually have any experience with that his type, she was just going off what she'd read in books and seen in movies. But didn't she say she wouldn't judge him by other people's opinions? She meant to keep that promise, but was this smart? "It's really quite comical when they faint. Have you ever seen those videos of the fainting goats? It's like that, one minute they're chatting up a storm and the next one of them is collapsed on the floor, the other panicking. They're twins, so you know how the stereotype is. They're practically joined at the hip." she added, just talking to stall while she tried to remember what the proper response to someone touching her would be. Her face was burning hot, and her heart was beating so loudly in her ears, she was nearly positive he could hear it. Which would probably embarrass her even further.
