Brianna Miller

Occupation: surface designer
Appearance: brown eyes, 5’5”, soft natural makeup with dirty blonde hair. Professional, feminine clothing.
Personality: Brianna can often seem a little obsessive over small things and can have a small temper when things don’t work out how she planned them to. It also doesn’t help that she’s constantly plastered. It probably puts off to a lot of people. She’s been struggling with it for years now. Despite her alcoholism, she’s a very sweet girl. She’s genuine and honest and has good advice to give others, she’s just bad at taking it herself.
New to town.
Story: Brianna is originally from an extremely small town before moving to this more urban area, a place with chickens and farmlands is what she’s familiar with. But she’s very adaptable and adjusted well to public transportation as well “city” life after graduating with an illustration degree. Originally she intended to move to the mountains and to live in the forest all alone after school ... But those plans were rerouted when she ran out of luck ... and funds. So, she found herself staying in the city and freelancing as a surface designer.

She’s absolutely attached to her planner and painstakingly organizes her life to the hour, shame she isn’t always successful. Brianna wakes up on time almost everyday but only due to one reason. Promptly she’s been starting the day with an Irish coffee as soon as she wakes up.

Hopefully she can find new path and recover her life in Eastvale.

Name: Charles Webb

Appearance: 6'3 and lanky. Short, well straight cut light brown hair. Wears neutral shades of warm colors and plaid. His dark brown eyes are magnified behind round-rimmed glasses.
Occupation (optional): Science teacher
Personality: Charles is very aware that he is awkward, and so insists to be reclusive to spare others the trouble of needing to interact with his awkwardness. He is lonely, but also passionately self-reliant. He takes his work seriously and loves to see projects come to completion. His mind is prone to moving faster than his words can communicate, and as a result, is easily flustered when he can't communicate things well.
Local to this town for the past 10 years.
Bio: Charles Webb moved to Eastvale mostly out of necessity. He had just gotten his degree in science education and found that there were few places that needed a teacher so desperately that they were willing to take a greenhorn straight out of college. Upon arriving he was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and small-town feel of the place. This, of course, did not fix his crippling awkwardness, but it certainly meant hope for him. Still, in all his time at Eastvale, he had only made a small handful of acquaintances and even among that handful fewer than he interacted at least once in a given week. On weekdays after his classes are done, he spends his time at the library either researching or preparing for his next class. On weekends he is also at the library reading tales of lives more thrilling than his own.

Appearance: 6'1 with a rugged, toned build. His messy neck-length hair is black. Wears mostly tee shirts with unbuttoned overshirts over and dark jeans. Green eyes.
Occupation (optional): Odd jobs/ musician
Personality: If ever there was the real-life equivalent of a "swashbuckler" from stories like Pirates of the Carribean or The Princess Bride, it was Vance. Smooth-talking, quick thinking, damsel-off-feet-sweeping, you name it and Vance will be all over trying to do it. He is rather easy-going and even sensitive if you catch him at the right time. He gets stressed and even fearful of obligation and would often rather just chase his aspirations until they finally come to an end.

Bio: Vance Longshore has a history of bouncing from one town to the next hoping to find the next adventure. He has never been too keen on the concept of what most people would call a "stable living condition" and it is largely because of his parents. His father was a career military man, his mother was a lawyer, and both wanted Vance to do something great with his life. The problem was, Vance could never do anything great enough for them. He figured that out pretty quickly, so as soon as he was out of the house, he thanked his parents for what they'd taught him about life, and he vanished into the open world. From there, freedom was not all Vance and dreamed it to be. There were nights he went hungry and weeks where he dreamed of a life of luxury, but then there were the days when he'd walk through a new and unfamiliar town with nothing but the clothes on his back, $100 in his pocket, a song in his heart, and the stars to guide him. It was those moments that made him love his life. Eventually, his adventures took him to Eastvale. He had heard about it from a local diner and decided to see the perfect little city for himself. He intended to take whatever job he could find, rent a small apartment, and chase whatever dream comes to him while stays there. And just like with every destination, he couldn't wait to see it all play out.
Extras: Knows how to play Piano, Guitar, and Accordion. He only brings an Accordion with him wherever he goes, however, because it is the easiest to take and store wherever.

BASIC INFORMATION:

Janette Jules was born and raised in Eastvale. She didn't exactly grow up rich or poor, and was always pretty middle class. Her family always showed her love and support every step of the way, and she all around did grow up to be a genuine kind person. However, Janette's mundane life left her longing for... more. More adventure, more action. Sure, she did tennis and volleyball in high school and was always leading her class grades-wise, but all that stuff came naturally for a girl like her. She never had to worry about being bullied or facing any adversity, because why would she? She always had it relatively easy on that front.

So, here she is now. While not taking the route of some of her peers and breaking out by doing drugs or copious amounts of alcohol, Janette decided to venture into areas of her life that she never would have thought of, had she stuck with her original path of becoming a doctor. She now owns a modest flower shop downtown, and is a generally well respected woman. However, when away from her shop, Janette is always seeking the next thrill in her life. From skydiving, to bungee jumping, Janette will never back down from some good 'ole adrenaline rushes.

PERSONALITY:

As mentioned above, Janette is very much a thrill-seeking kinda gal, even though she does not give that impression right of the bat. When you first meet her, Janette is very polite and cordial. She is friendly to just about everyone she meets, but as those she considers friends get to know her and hang around her more often, they will no doubt notice her become much more bubbly and cheery overtime. She will tend to be more loud and laugh at jokes more often as she becomes more comfortable around someone. However, if Janette is very passionate about a situation, then she will not be afraid to be outspoken about it. She will put her foot down when her limit is reached, and will even raise her voice on the rare occasion that someone really manages to piss her off. The easiest way to do this is by being handsy with her. Although nice and fond of the general hug, she is not a fan of constant touching, and will often get unnerved if continuous contact persists.

Personality: Charming and carefree, the woman tries not to take anything seriously in life. Or at least, that's how it seems on the surface. She tries to escape her darker thoughts and the demons from her dreams by pretending they don't exist. The best way she can do that is by constantly being around people, so she tries to never spend a long time alone. Romantically, she has a tendency to drift from partner to partner, never finding someone who clicks because she just doesn't open up and let other people in. All they see is that bubbly, confident exterior and not the sad, lonely girl still locked inside.
Local or new to town?: New in town, just passing through as she tries to make a living off playing music
Bio: Scarlett was born in a small town south of the Mason-Dixon line. It was a comfortable life as far as having material things went. Unfortunately, her parents were too busy with their work to focus on raising their daughter. She spent a lot of her time alone in the house, her parents away on business trips. The only way she felt better was playing music to drown out the voices in her head saying they spent as much time away from her as possible because she wasn't worthy of their attention. Her grades started slipping when she hit high school and learned that she was a lesbian. It was a painful time, and it only became worse when her parents found out and gave her an ultimatum. Either recant her ways or be forced to leave.

So she left with barely anything to her name. The young woman struggled to make ends meet, taking odd job after odd job, traveling from town to town. It wasn't until she was in her later twenties that her music started to catch attention. Touring around the country, that is how she ended up in this sleepy little town. She expects to move on very soon, but who knew...stranger things happened.

Personality: Valeria is a very quiet young woman, quite withdrawn though she is polite. There is a lot of pressure on her to succeed so the young woman is determined to make her parents proud even at the expense of her own happiness and even her own peace of mind. She is so laser-focused on her school work to become a doctor that she hasn't had time for friends or even romance. She finds herself quite lonely, yet that's for the best if she wants to make her parents proud, right?
Local or new to town?: Local, second generation immigrant
Bio: Florln and Maria Ionescu wanted the best life for their daughter, so they immigrated to country with such glowing opportunity from their own home country of Romania. Since she was young, there has been pressure on the young girl to succeed. They pushed her with her grades, only perfect grades being acceptable, and they ignored how it was destroying any socialization skills she was supposed to learn at that age. All that mattered was that their little girl was going to be successful, financially stable and have the wonderful distinction of being a doctor even if the area of expertise she was seeking was going to be psychiatry.
Extras: She has a habit of buying herself flowers to put around her office just to give it some color and give her a break from the monotony of the room otherwise.

Occupation: None; just a classic rich kid

Personality: Sean doesn't know the first thing about formalities, and it's usually taken as a sign of disrespect. He wouldn't care less if they thought that way, though. In fact, he might just piggyback on that and add more trouble for himself. However, it's more so he doesn't know how to act in those situations. He doesn't understand what he's doing to get people so riled up and why they aren't calming down when he talks. Sean grew up under the belief that he could get whatever he wanted for free by just asking, and its partly carried over to his adult life. Everything he says is part of his sense of humor and how he normally talks with people.

Local or new to town?: New to town; arrived just yesterday

Bio: Sean was born the son of a celebrity father who took to a lower-class woman in the time of grief following his wife's death. He did it to relieve stress, but ended up making the girl pregnant. Worried that if news of this came out, he sent the girl far away with hush money and two servants he paid for. However, he didn't want to completely leave the boy in the dust. Sean's father never showed himself in person, only contacting him through letters. The mother, despite being practically abandoned, still spoke highly of him, believing it was for the best for her to leave.

They never let Sean go to a proper school, hiring a tutor that aligned with his father's views. As he grew older, Sean gladly took advantage of his resources and wealth. He became known as something of a delinquent in his old town, harshly speaking to everyone and making others think he had the power to evict them just for looking at him the wrong way. Little did they know that that was his way of small talk, and never actually meant any of those words. Eventually, his old mother grew to view their town as too lively and energetic. Much to Sean's dismay, they moved to Eastvale, a much less known city with what he thought would be a boring life. His father already bought a penthouse for them, and that's where they are as of now.
