    Psychological Profile:

Character Summary: A short summary of your character
    Personality:
Biography: Only a relatively basic bio is needed. No need to go into too much detail.

    Field Operations Information

    Callsign:
Specialisation: Three specialisations are available: assault, defence, and support. Assault is geared towards dealing damage and pushing forwards. Defence is focused on protecting teammates and protecting objectives. Support is based around roles such as healing and fire support.
Preferred Loadout: As a super secret paramilitary organisation, operatives are allowed to pick and choose weapons of their choice from essentially any firearm ever made (provided they fill in a massive amount of paperwork first) and if it is within reason. That means if the weapon is available and practical. No going into battle with a diamond-encrusted solid gold Desert Eagle or 18th century blunderbuss. Operatives who do not want to fill in the large amount of paperwork needed to acquire a personal weapon of choice are instead given standard-issue equipment. Refer to the Field Operative's Handbook for equipment list. Only experienced operatives are allowed access to choice weaponry. Recruits are given standard-issue by default.
Gear Alterations: Like many special forces around the world, operatives are allowed to customise their gear to a certain degree.
Skills and Abilities: Point form. Typically things such as combat training and natural skills.

'It matters not who has the best equipment or tech. The side with the best discipline and training always wins. But sometimes, it matters both.'

General Information

Name: Viktor Degtyarev (Russian: Виктор Дегтярев)
Age: 44
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Slavic
Birthdate: 22 February 1977
Nationality: Russian
Birthplace: Yakutsk, Sakha Republic, Russia (USSR)
Organisation: Spetsnaz

Physical Information

Height: 6'1" (1.85m)
Build: Athletic
Eyes: Grey
Hair: Dark brown
Skin Tone: Fair
Description: With his dark brown hair, grey eyes, and fair skin, Degtyarev is practically fits the description of an archetypal Russian. Tall and well-built, Degtyarev has been described by many (mostly female personnel) as rather good-looking for his age, despite he faintest hints of grey in his hair. His athletic and muscular build is as expected of a seasoned special forces operator with more than two decades of experience in the military. Underneath his gear and clothing, he has a single gunshot scar on his shoulder, having gotten it during his younger years in Chechen. Typically has a five o'clock shadow covering the lower half of his face.

Psychological Profile

Character Summary: A calm and composed veteran Spetsnaz operative with substantial tracking and pathfinding skills. Believes that discipline is the key to victory.
Personality: Borderline emotionless at times, Degtyarev remains cool even under pressure. As an experienced commander, he knows how to work as a team, and he practically emits an aura of
commanding wherever he goes. He is also extremely loyal and dedicated, typically not stopping at anything until he has fulfilled his objective. As a keen believer that discipline is the most important aspect of any military, Degtyarev does not tolerate insubordination, and will oftentimes follow any order he is given. As a realist, he is practical and independent, which means that he can quickly come up with solutions to problems. Quite a heavy drinker, but smokes in moderation.

Biography: Viktor Degtyarev was born an only child to a father in the Soviet Army and a mother in the factories. Degtyarev grew up listening to the stories of great bravery his father told him of not just his own adventures in Afghanistan, but also those of his grandfather and his heroic exploits during the Great Patriotic War, fighting for his motherland against the German fascists. These tales combined with the fact that all the men in his family were in the military inspired him to pursue a more serious career in the military, wanting to serve even after finishing his conscription. As a young boy, Degtyarev's life was fairly typical: having fun with friends, getting into fights, and learning about the world (the Soviet version of it). However, he also enjoyed creating maps of the area around his home, finding that he had a particular knack for pathfinding and cartography. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, in 1995, Degtyarev served his eighteen months with the Russian Armed Forces, before going on the study at Yakutsk State University.

After completing his education and graduating with high honours, he later re-enlisted and went on to serve Russia for a further five more years. During his time in the military, he took part in the Second Chechen War, during which he killed and began to develop a more realistic view on life, yet also coming to see that discipline was the key to victory. He eventually joined the Spetsnaz upon recommendation from his senior officers. Completing Spetsnaz's infamous training regimen with relative ease due to his perfect health and previous experience, Degtyarev was assigned to the 3rd Guards Spetsnaz Brigade. As a Spetsnaz operative, Degtyarev would go on to see action once again in Chechen, now seeing a different side as a special operative rather than the more conventional foot soldier he once was. It was also this time that he refined his natural tracking and pathfinding ability that he always had during recon missions. He also came to be a respected and trusted soldier, coming to be seen as a model operative.

in 2016, after two decades in the military, Degtyarev was referred to by his superiors, stating that he was getting reassigned, and that the information was highly classified. It was here that he was recruited by the shadow organisation known as CITRON, whose field agents had been observing him for years, to properly judge his skills and to see if he was fit to be a member. After his recruitment, his eyes were opened to a side of the world he had never seen before, a side that he once thought to be single myths. He was finally exposed to the masquerade, and now he was one of those enforcing it. Instead of battling threats to Russia, he battled threats to humanity. It was a job that he intended to do well. He accepted his new duty without much of a second thought.

Degtyarev would quickly rise up the ranks and become one of CITRON's top field operatives. Now, he commands Anvil Team, a high-ranking and elite squad who are usually sent on more dangerous missions, but also more conventional ones too.
