Curious, cheerful and mischievous Doll is often found pulling pranks. He is very childish and naive with a demented sense of humor. He is very social loyal and friendly but can be very cruel and sadistic if threatened.


Tattoo:

His tattoo is on his left eye.


Abilities: Can create, and control dolls with string like energy. He is able to detach and reattach any of his limbs at will, and control them. He can also use the energy like a sow and needle.


Natural talents: He's very flexible, good at hand to hand combat, and great at finding things people want to stay hidden.


History:


At first he was like every other kid. He had great parents and was spoiled rotten. Unfortunately that ended when he was eight. On their way home his parents were killed in a car crash caused by a drunk driver. After that he was put in the system. He was moved from home to home being beaten and starved until he was 16. He was sent to live at an orphanage and soon after they took a trip to the circus. He was tired from being constantly abused and passed out. After that he became a part of the act.

Personality: Ghost is a very moody girl and though she is happy most of the time but when you upset her she holds a grudge, she loves peanuts and will do you any favor you like if you give her a bag. She is very out going at times and loves talking to people making her perfect for show business, she loves to cook and help others but always at a price. She believes in the an eye for an eye mentality and will occasionally play pranks on people who have wronged her.


She is a very easy going person most of the time and incredibly hard working, she knows that there is a time to be serious and will act accordingly but will try to cheer people up if their down with a sarcastic joke or two. Ghost is a bit of a kleptomaniac and will go through a new comers things taking anything that she feels is valuable, she likes to collect these things and put them in her room.


Tattoo: The tattoos that are on Ghost are the very signatures of the people taken into the circus written in black ink, hundreds of them scattered all along her torso arms and legs, this is how the circus owner knows who to take from the crowd and when the signatures disappear from the poles this is where they end up, somewhere on her body. She tries to keep them covered as best she can wearing long sleeves and pants so that no one knows her secret.


Abilities: Ghost is intangible and can't touch or be touched. She cannot be seen or heard when not in the lights of the circus which means she can't ever leave, making her very much like a ghost, the ghost of the circus. The only downside is that she cannot turn it off and is constantly going through things, she can't pass through things made of wood or metal and she sews steal wool into the hems of her clothes and works around other things that she can't touch.


Natural talents: Fire breathing, nimble, information gathering, repairing


History: Unfortunately Ghost doesn't remember a life before the circus all she and everyone else knows is that she has been there as long as the circus has. No one knows how or why but she continues to carry on living in the circus for years and even though workers in the circus have come and gone over the years she has remained at the circus as a diligent worker doing all the odd job and preparations before shows and the cleans up afterwards. She does all this to distract herself from how empty she feels at the circus, she longs to go outside of the circus for even one day so that she might go out into the world and see a life beyond the circus.

  Personality: Markus WAS a very calm, very kind, very gentle person, though in secret a very powerful, competitive, and eccentric person. He always loved to show off, but maintained a humble and non-threatening demeanor, and with his willpower he held back most of his cocky behavior, though he knew his own skill. His love lay with animals at the time, and his hand was merciful... Until he fell under the spell of a now disappeared gypsy girl in the "Cirque du Sommiel", where he slept and awoke with a trick and a toll.
  
  
  Now known as Illius, and no longer recognized as the Markus with shy eyes and a gentle touch, he is a man of his own true and brute strength, his care for animals turned him to cruel manipulation. He is arguably the darkest of the performers, with eyes like platinum, he awes and frightens the audience. It is said that a person such as himself, when given the power, will take over with black heart and red eye, watchful, awe-inspiring, but lethal to say what is less than the least. Today and tomorrow, you welcome the beast.
• Tattoo: The Dragon- The Dragon tattoo marks him as the one with a beast's blood, which was melded with his own upon his time of "branding", it is a gift and a curse... Or so they say. It lay across his chest and on his back is another set that proved ironic in this time of recruitment.

  Abilities: When his act gains too attention or popularity from circus-goers, he slowly gains power, and his form will shift in levels or "Stages" that summon the powers of the beast in his blood. All unlikely to be shown under typical circumstances.

  Stage One:
  Stage One is the first of these transformations, it takes little to channel (comparatively) and is one he can usually take on without any assistance. With this form he has little more than flame manipulation, and the growing of horns. One thing spans across his spectrum of stages, and that is his weakness to water.
  
  
  
  
  
  

  

  Stage Two:
  
  
  At this point in his stages, Illius experiences extreme bloodlust, and wings may sprout from his back, causing great pain and stress. His fire manipulation grows so that it melts from his skin to his fingertips. Stage two is a fault of the blood, and makes him violent, it is also very rare for the transformations to reach beyond this point but the worst has yet to come. In this form, however strong it may be, water goes from scary and sleep-inducing to burning his skin, which is as painful as having it cut from his body with a dull knife, a single drop would be enough to push him back.

  Stage Three:
  
  
  At this point, stage three, final stage in a trilogy, Illius can be killed by a splash of water to the chest, and he will try to escape, which would also kill him, but at this point he can be reasoned with if someone he thinks highly of, or a family member, a close friend maybe, braves the flames and tries. This form, along with the rest are all extremely unlikely to be taken on, so long as the chains are in place his powers are only strong enough to help him communicate with and manipulate animals.
  
  
  Natural talents: As before his initiation into the ring, Markus was always nimble, agile, graceful in his movements, but always surprisingly strong. He has a keen knowledge of nerves and pressure points from his time as an acupuncturist's son, and has experience in dance and gymnastics, though the last two were more hobby than anything. He is skilled with an instrument and even more skilled with a needle in his line of work.
  
  
  The Silver Chain: A literal chain that contains Illius' powers. This chain can only be unlocked with a key last seen with the ringmaster, and he cannot touch said key, the strength of another must drive the key.
  
  
  Manner of Dress: Illius tends to dress like a jester, though he at time reverts to royalty. (Other appearances are also equally as likely to come into play.)

  Time of Taking: When Markus was taken was when the last show ended, so the next would be his first show. In the show was a gypsy girl, she held all sorts of magic that's awe drew him into her trap, where the spider spun a web of sleep and drained his energy long enough for him to be whisked away into the circus where he became the beast tamer.
  
  
  History: Markus lived a dull life with a neutral personality. He never had a single problem until he chased a gypsy girl into the circus tent, and took a seat in the stands out of pure instinct to await her performance so that he could see her beautiful figure in the light once more, but when she appeared she used her magic to put him under a trance and he fell unconscious. When he awoke his body burned, but it felt average, his body was covered in scales from head to foot, and in a moment the girl showed. Sweet, kind, calm, was the girl who died that day.
  
  
  And he was that one who killed her, resulting in the manufacturing of a special magic bond, a "chain", if you will, that restricted his abilities. He has been sleeping ever since, exhausted from the magic control emitting from that which contained him, and he awaits his chance to re-awaken and tame.
  
  
  Or so they say.
  
  
  And "they" say wrong.

Personality: Lovina loves dancing and palm reading--no surprise since she's a Gypsy's daughter. She is always looking for someone to talk to and she's selfless. Although very caring, Lovina is the type that demands justice; she's believes in an eye for an eye. But she also believes in a fair trial. Although stubborn and set in her ways, Lovina is very accepting of other ideas and is quite open-minded. Sometimes she can be snarky--typically in the morning, and can hold be very vengeful.





History: Lovina was a free-spirited child and a little rebellious thanks to her Romani roots. When she was nine, she ran away to the circus, much to her father's dismay. She was with the circus for a year and returned home when the event rolled into Paris, France. When she turned thirteen, her mother talked her father into allowing Lovina to travel the countryside with her old tribe. Around sixteen and a half, she returned home for a few years. But something about circus life had a hold on her. She left again, traveling with a small troupe for a few years as an acrobat. When that group was absorbed by the Sommiel, she changed.


Abilities: Foresight, although she never sees faces or details

Personality: Hannibal “Archeus” Griffiths is an inquisitive man. He can often be very happy or very sad. Hannibal can be quite witty and sarcastic. Although he does not like to interact with people that he does not know well, he covers this part of his personality. Hannibal expresses a great deal of loyalty to his friends and loved ones. He doesn’t believe people are generally good or bad, there are just many different kinds of people. He tries to avoid confrontation and conflict but will fiercely defend himself and what he loves. While interacting with Hannibal most people find his personality frustrating. If Hannibal doesn’t find a conversation interesting he can often space out but will return to the conversation with a smile and an apology. Hannibal can also be a trouble maker and likes to play pranks on those around him.


Tattoo: Hannibal has a single tattoo of a black equilateral triangle on his forearm. He regularly covers the tattoo.


Abilities: Hannibal can control his own blood cells which can split up and move objects for him or come together and create illusions. However, the more complex the movement or illusion the more strength is sapped.


Natural talents: High levels of intelligence, agile, card tricks, shooting handguns, fencing


History: Hannibal was a British mathematics student at Harvard University during the revolutionary war. The son to a noble in America, Hannibal received extensive training in firearms and sword play. When his family encouraged him to return to Britain as the revolution caught fire, he found his way to the circus instead.

Personality: Max is a rather serious, but very kind man. He is very honest and will look out for the wellbeing of those he cares about before his own. Maximilian is quite trustworthy as well as dedicated to his act and abilities, and in his eye, the circus performers are like a mishappen family to him. Maximilian however does need his time away from it all once in a while, and during this time, it is just best to leave the mimic alone. Generally in his time 'away', Max will play his flute and forget all of the worries and stress that comes with the Circus. However, Maximilian isn't the most patient man out there, and can be grouchy once in a while.


Tattoo: On the palms of both of Maximilian's hands.

Abilities: Maximilian can mimic the sound of anything he has heard before, and is very good at it. However this ability only moves to sound. Also as a side affect, Max can hear very clearly tones higher or lower than the average human range. He is also very good with music with his sensitivity to sound.


Natural talents: Maximilian is quite agile and light on his feet, but not unnaturally so. He has a very strong ear for music, and can play a variety of instruments, but the most significant, and his highest skill being the flute. Max will play once in a while, but not for an act, just a hobby on the side.


History: Maximilian Donnegan was first entered into the circus when he was 13, he had fallen asleep from the knockout gas and after he had awoken, Max embraced his abilities for the first time. Before, as a child, he was a bit of a jokester, mimicking the voices of others perfectly, which had helped him sneak off and get away with most of his pranks. But as Max grew older, he learned that many things about him were different and Maximilian changed from his boisterous and mischevious attitude to a more reclusive and serious. His ties to his peers weakened drastically before Max had gone to the circus, alone as his mother planned to go with him, but sent him off on his own as she was held back by a work meeting. Max had lost his memories of his past life, but appreciated his talents greatly, as well as his almost natural ability to play the flute. Maximilian worked very dedicated and at first, wished to know who he really was, but after a year with the Circus, Max learned to accept who he is at the moment, and live his life without the memories of the past, solely working to his future.

Name: Quinn Vance


Stage Name: Hell Hound


Age: Appears to be no older than 8


Gender: Female


Role: Freak Show


Position: Newcomer


Likes: Sleeping, fruit, animals, and cuddling


Dislikes: Rules, water, clothes, fish, and strangers


Personality: She is deathly loyal and somewhat of a wild child to handle. Quinn can also be seen as stubborn due to her acting on her instincts instead of using words or reason. She's prone to burst of anger and violence whenever she feels trapped. All around, she is a little pup that is happy to please.


Abilities: one of the abilities that was bestowed upon her was the matching tail and ears that grew once she received her tattoo. She also received an increase in strength.


Natural Talents: Was born with heightened senses of smell, sight, and hearing.


History: Quinn is the daughter of a less than respectable family that were known to run the high roller dog fighting rings. Her parents appeared to be the perfect couple that was well-off but it was a façade. When Alisa Vance gave birth to that looked nothing like her or husband she had began to harbor hatred for Quinn. Being born with hair the color of an angel's wing, golden eyes that seemed demonic in nature, and ears that ended in a noticeable point did nothing to gain their love. They put her in the same kennels that their most aggressive dogs spent their lives. They were surprised to see their Alpha female Kita, a Siberian Husky, protecting the child from the other dogs. After a few months of that lifestyle, Quinn began showing behavior and instincts of the furious dogs around her. Between the ages of 4-6 Quinn was put into her first ring match with an inexperienced Pitt Bull and won. 3 years later the police intervened which led to her escaping and prowling around on all fours like her foster mother. She soon was found passed out near circus and that's how she was brought in.


Tattoo: The Celtic moon and star tattoo are woven between the scars on the center of her chest below her collar bone.

@Sulfirious it all looks good accept one thing, when a person is taken into the circus people from the outer world have no memory of them so if you could just change that one bit that'll be fine.


@Shadow Alpha unfortunately I cannot accept your character as the world outside the circus is supposed to resemble a real world like our own. If you would like to tweek it that would be fine with me but as far as the being born with ears part I don't think we'd see that in every day life.
