INTRODUCTION—WHO AM I
I am Nuro. I’m bad at introductions (might be the autism, might just be a skill issue on my part) but I shall do my best. I am 24, turning 25 next year. Gender is a fuck, but you can refer to me via they/them or whatever. I’m not strict on my own pronouns (is that called gender apathy?). I am currently a psych major doing my bachelors (behind on credits pien), so I am prone to being busy, but I will communicate.

I am a casual roleplayer, but that doesn’t mean I can’t write (if you desire, I can grab writing samples if needed). I don’t know the exact terms but I do span several paragraphs and consistently hit over 2k~4k characters. I do also write in third-person + past tense as I have been doing that for the past year. Regardless, average post length is around a page or page n a half in APA guidelines (lol save me). Do not worry about matching, as long as you give me more than two paragraphs, I am content.

I love yapping and I love communication. I am typically pretty busy, but I have managed enough time to have time for my own hobbies on top of schooling. Typically, I will be communicating when I am busy, and I would like the same. If you ghost me, then that is whatever, I will not be chasing you down as I am not your keeper (i’ll nudge you maybe once or twice, but after that, I’m not bugging you).

Exploring dark content with respect is something I enjoy writing. However, I have my limits and I know people have theirs. Should you be interested in a plot, please do tell me anything you are triggered by, as I do not want to make you uncomfortable.
RULES—DO READ THEM
1. 19+ please.
Nothing against children, RP is a writing outlet for all ages. However, I feel comfortable around those who are legally adults.

2. No ERP
No interest.

3. I don't RP Canon Characters
I unfortunately do not have the time to sit down and learn a canon character. As an NPC? Sure. As an actual PC, sorry, but no. If you would like to RP a canon character with one of my OCs, we can absolutely discuss!

4. I primarily will RP female OCs
I like women, easy as that. It’s also easier for me as I am AFAB. Regardless, female OCs and NB OCs will most likely be my main focus on OCs as I find it easier to roleplay them. However, I can RP other types of gender identity as NPCs,

5. Faceclaims
I will be using anime faceclaims (from games, animanga, fanart, etc. see post header for example). If you do not vibe with this, that is fine, I have art of my own characters (commissioned, using picrew/neka, or drawn by myself.) and plain-text descriptions. However, I will not use realistic faceclaims, nor do I feel comfortable with RP’ing with someone with realistic faceclaims. I also do not like AI faceclaims since the output is trained without consent from artists.

6. Romance
Personally, I am not actively seeking romance in any RP, so do not feel pressured. However, should romance be a thing, I prefer it to be a slow-burn. I have no true preference in regards to pairings, but I am typically more inclined towards FxF. But I am down to do any pairing.

7. Share the workload
I GM in an off-site group and have done so with former 1x1s on discord. But I do not want to be the only one pushing the narrative, playing NPCs and building the world. I want it to be a collaborative experience so we both can have fun!

8. Codes and Threads
I like to use codes and threads. I am quite visually inclined and it is easier for me to read along and helps me to not get distracted. However, no pressure for you to use code though. I will pass by any code with my partner so they can read. Most of the codes I like are mobile friendly. Additionally, if the code I use makes it hard for you to read, please tell me! I will switch to plain text.

9. OOC
I do not have RPN open often, so I prefer OOC on discord. I do not get RPN notifications through email for some reason.

10. Communication
If I need to drop or take a hiatus, I will tell you. I'd prefer if you did the same, but if the vibes aren't there, go ghost if you need to. I also love talking to people about characters, the setting, worldbuilding, and just being casual about stuff in general. I find that having some sense of camaraderie makes successful RPs.
PLOTS—FANDOM & MISC
Below is a list of fandom settings I am interested in. Typically, I wish to RP something that happens separate from the main story, but still rooted in the worldbuilding of the media. I will be using the gacha star system for how interested I am—3 stars being not so interested, and 6 stars being very interested.
★★★★★ LIMBUS COMPANY - Limbus Company AU / Fandom
Absolutely adore the worldbuilding and the game. Any idea goes for this honestly, whether that be our characters as Fixers in the City, Sinners of a different LCB branch, or something entirely different. I am caught up in the story and content in Limbus Company, so I cannot be spoiled on anything. However, if you are interested, please tell me if there is any content you have not done, so i do not accidentally spoil you.

By proxy, Lobotomy Corporation and Libary of Ruina are also an interest. I have finished both games, therefore I am willing to RP in anything in either of those games; two employees in a Lobotomy Corporation branch, librarian assistants in the Library (I can RP any canon characters if needed), or anything else that strikes your fancy. The world of Project Moon is vast, so anything goes as long as it fits within the worldbuilding.

Beneath is a list of vague genres that don't really have a plot, but can end up being cooked on. I do not have much worldbuilding done for any of these, but I can and will share any ideas if you are interested.

★★★ 1. BANDS? BANDS.
I think having some sort of plot where our characters get together to make a band would be kinda cute. It can either be a typical rock band, or some sort of idol-esque thing. Definitely would be inspired by Bang Dream or Bocchi the Rock.
★★★ 2. APOCALYPSE - anything
Prolly smth inspired by All Of Us Are Dead, Fallout, or anything really. Doesn't even need to be zombies, just two people tryna survive the apocalypse together. I am so willing to cook up an apocalypse with someone.
★★★ 2.5 APOCALYPSE - zombie apocalypse
Not gonna lie, big guilty pleasure of mine. I love seeing two people band together and survive a zombie apocalypse with nothing special. No powers or anything, just two regular people with regular things. I will most likely take inspiration from various zombie media like The Last of Us. I like settings where the characters have to avoid the zombies rather than gun them down. Makes it more suspenseful and thrilling, aha.

3. General Genres | moreso a wordbank but
Thriller, Drama, Horror [psychological, supernatural, etc], Sci-Fi, Mystery, Action, Dystopia, Fantasy, Soulsborne
PLOTS—ORIGINAL
Below is a list of plots that I thought of. not enough to require more than two people, but something I would like to experiment with in an RP setting. If you are not interested in any of these, then please see basic plots. If you are interested in something original, but don't vibe with anything below, feel free to share your own! I am down to work something out between us!

★★★ 1. VALIANT HEARTS—sci/fi / mmorpg.
Inspired by: Gun Gale Online | Omniscient Reader | PSO2

PLOT
In 2069, the entertainment industry has finally been filled to the brim with VR technology; movies, shows, gaming, even shopping has been made available on a VR headset. You are one of the many that got their hands on a MMORPG called Valiant Hearts, a MMO that allows you to experience your characters in first-person. With little microtransactions, weekly updates and god-tier character customization, the game has taken the gaming world by storm.

Unlike other MMOs, it didn’t lock the players into a specific class. allowing them to use whatever weapons (guns, laser weapons, etc) and spec into whatever stats they wished. This allowed people to veer away from the meta and make silly builds, or it allowed people to fully focus on one or two things without caring about the other stats. There were even higher deities players could get passive (or active in rare cases) abilities from. People didn’t know what triggered each deity, but it happened either in battle, or during mundane, in-game tasks, like fishing. Essentially, it was able to be customized to each player.

Unfortunately, nothing is ever perfect. There are always issues with new and improving technology, and this was an example of one. The game developers had always warned people to get off an hour before maintenance, and every 10 minutes, there would be warnings intermittently sent out. But you (Muse A)—and a group of a few others (one will be Muse B)—decided to stay in the game servers until maintenance time. But nothing happened. Disheartened, everyone tried to log out only to realize they couldn’t. Initially, it wasn’t a worry. Perhaps you would be able to log out of the game after maintenance was concluded? But still, you couldn’t leave the game.

This was bad. What about food and water? What about school and work? What about family? You and a small group of others couldn’t log out. All you could do is go about your day within the game, hoping for a developer or someone who knew a guy to log in. Surely the devs have something they can do, right?
★★★★★✰ 2. CARPE VINUM—modern / thriller.
Inspired by: Scream | Elite

PLOT
A strange person is terrorizing the large, fictional city of Vinum, Canada. Specifically, this person is targeting students from the prestigious university: University of ???, known for both its money and partying. After all, rich university students? why wouldn’t they spend daddy’s money on alcohol and drugs. What started from juvenile animal cruelty quickly devolved into a murder of an innocent citizen. To make matters worse, this unfortunate citizen was the soon-to-be prom king and the heartthrob of the college. This was no sudden or strange occurrence. It felt targeted. In fact, it was. After all, the victim was one of your best friends. You and your small group of friends (Muse A and B) were getting pictures of him, eyes crossed out in red ink and threatening messages on the back of each polaroid, saying that any of you could be the next victim.

And then for a week: silence.

The cops were involved, but they couldn’t trace back any of the threatening items back to the killer. Hell, the killer knew they were involved and revelled in the attention, sending text messages, and more letters. Gods. Letters? We’re in 2024, for goodness sake! Regardless, one of the party animals at the university threw a party, inviting your group to join to take off the edge. Who knows, maybe the alcohol would help. And there it was, during the peak of the party, one of you got a phone call from a number you didn’t know.

“What’s your favorite scary movie?”
★★★★✰✰ 3. ABYSSUS ABYSSUM INVOCAT—modern / supernatural horror.
Inspired by: world of horror

PLOT
sea calls unto sea—In a small, rural seaside town within Japan, there is a duo of college students (Muse A and B) that are interested in the occult and supernatural happenings. However, no matter how much research or effort is put in, they cannot find anything. Regardless, in a small town, rumors travel fast. You and your friend hear something about how someone at your school went missing, something about how a strange woman with scissors could be lurking about.

The two went to the house of the missing friend. Talking to the grieving mother didn't help, but one of you did find a notebook with cryptic and rushed scribblings. Something about "I can send her back". It made no sense, but this is the only clue you had. There was a ritual that could stop this... strange woman. Surely it wasn't anything too bad, right?
CONCLUSION—LONG...
This was... hilariously long, I apologize. One day I will learn BBCode and make sick coded stuff. Regardless, if you made it to the end, yippee. If yo are interested, feel free to DM as I would like to keep this thread clean. Do tell me a bit about yourself, and what plot you are interested in. Cheers.

(I hope this is mobile friendly, if not, i'll post one later)
