The Lore Roll is for what Ryan knows about Mara and her ship from their reputation, as stated in brackets.

Any information is helpful but I'm really looking for stuff like how zealous she is about hunting anathema, fighting style, achievements, lineage (outcaste, realm, lookshy as a few high level generalizations), whether she might be a possible ally or employer, etc.

Alternatively, I can use it as a declare fact roll and attempt to present something to see if that works for your story.

I rolled to get the extra successes to bank for later on. I can use them anytime until I sleep next on any Stealth or Larceny roll.

I don't see why you and Epiphany can't start off with the 5exp the others have.

I've got something of a concept coming together (An Eclipse Caste Sorcerer from Thorns who made a deal to get out and wants to ultimately free their city once they can come up with the right deal). I do see we have another prospective player, though. I don't know if you've got a hard limit for this or not but if slots are an issue, I'm willing to give up mine to onboard someone brand new to the game (we all know how valuable actual first time playing experience is).

Or I could give playing a Lunar a shot, for that matter, if they're good for an Eclipse (though if their background is D&D, an Eclipse is probably the hardest Caste to start from...).

I like the concept for your character, but if you want to leave so thetasfiasco can have a go, that's fine with me. Truthfully though, I'm not as concerned about the number of players as I am about having a full circle, so if you want to stay and take the Eclipse role, that's fine as well.
