Got it. Assuming the fight doesn't quit before then, I'll be ready.

Well, now that the fight is done, hoping to bring Ailera and Zed more into the scene to participate. I know Esbilon Esbilon is probably still on holiday, but in the interim, we can still proceed with any in-character questions as well as trying to prevent any larger conflicts from escalating.

Right now, I don't really have plans for any more conflict(s) within the palace. There'll no doubt be a fair bit of it waiting outside the palace walls - not everyone in Nalia is going to be happy about a group of Solars taking over the kingdom, even if one of them is the rightful queen - but that won't happen until news of the takeover can spread.

Ailera pulls out a length of cloth from her pocket and quickly begins to wrap up Melisande's head to hide the Caste mark. "There. That may not keep her from getting free, but it may slow her down a bit and keep her from causing mischief." She then gathers up the Daiklave and steps back.

Melisande's anima is at burning right now. It'll go down to glowing in 15 in-game minutes, but I should probably point out that in 3E, a Solar's Caste mark "appears on his brow, shining through anything placed over it" at that level. Simply wrapping up her head isn't going to do squat.

Does incapacitation remove the anima banner and the mark? And if immediately revived would it come back or remain gone?

Say, for example, using a Vulcan death grip to make her snooze then a nerve jab to wake her back up. In a medically acceptable way, of course.

Ah, well, it was worth a shot.

I'm looking up "anima banner" in the handbook now, and I can't see anything outright stating that that idea would work. Then again, there are some Charms that can expend levels of an Exalt's anima banner when used, so I suppose it could be possible. I'll go ahead and allow it.

Would you like me to roll for it?

Would you like me to roll for it?

I shouldn't think it'll be necessary. Melisande's not going to make any attempt to resist, and even if something could go wrong, I can't see Zedradon failing an Intelligence + Medicine roll.

Also, I'm going to be off to bed now. It's 11:07 pm where I am, and the last two IC posts have given me quite a lot to work with.

(Would Zedradon be able to recognize the poison? Or I can make it up as need be by introducing fact.)

The only thing I have set in stone about it is that it's commonly used by the Grass Spiders. Aside from that, go nuts.

What kind of fact did you want to introduce?

Just making up stuff about the poison, mostly. Nothing really important. Just babbling in a way that makes Zed seem to know what hes talking about.

In that case, go ahead. And if it's not going to impact the game in any way, you probably don't even need to roll.

I got the impression they were some sort of criminal/black market-y organization rather than literal spiders. I'd have said underworld, but that means something else in this setting. Then again... they might hang out there for all we know. Some folks can be damn crazy.

Well if it is an organization, makes it all the easier.

The Grass Spiders are a clan of mortal and Outcaste Dragon-Blooded assassins based in or around the East. They're mentioned in the Dragon-blooded books for both 2E and 3E.

Hey, Esbilon Esbilon . I'm guessing you're back from your holiday now, so I'm going to try and get you involved in the story again.

Yeah, I'm back. Sorry about the slightly extended radio silence.

I imagine Ysandre has plenty to do getting the palace under control while the others handle Melisande and Quincel. She also needs to reunite with her less estranged brothers and think about what to do with the ones she cannot trust.

It's no problem. And yeah, I'm planning to have a scene where Ysandre encounters her other two brothers. I don't really have any plans for further resistance in the palace - or at least anything around Melisande's level - at the moment, but I also want to try and do something involving both Red Shadow Claws Red Shadow Claws and Epiphany Epiphany , seeing as they've both been pretty quiet during all this.

Also, I know that Ysandre Exalted when she was eighteen, but how much time has passed since then?
