Bug Chrome Issues

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems with the site on Google Chrome since the update. I'm always able to load the site but receive an error message every time I log in. It's not that big of a deal, everything works fine on Internet Explorer, I just happen to despise using it. If anyone knows something I can do to get Chrome working again that would be awesome, if not, I'll survive. I'll provide a screenshot of the error message the browser gives me momentarily if it helps at all.

I had a couple of errors about two days ago...but the errors then stopped and only lasted for about an hour. And after refreshing the page, they would go away. And like I said, haven't had any at all since then. Could you post the screen shot? Because I know that some other people were getting errors as well.

I've been getting this screen every time I try to log in since the day of the update. I refresh the page multiple times and it doesn't change. I have noticed that if I just keep hitting the back button and log in again over and over again, on about the fifteenth attempt of re-entering my log in information, it's successful but if I stay on a page for too long it logs me out and the whole thing starts again lol.

I wasn't receiving that sort of error. That's new. Did you try clearing your browser history and cookies?

And do you try just accessing the site without the /login part after the URL? So just typing in Rpnation.com into Google and clicking on the link?

Yes everything is cleared out. And I do login from the main page, those two /login's just show up on the error screen for some reason. Google just hates this website right now.

The mods have a lot to deal with and my slight inconvenience by needing to use internet explorer isn't an emergency, so I can handle my irrational fear of a different web browser until they're a little more free. I was just seeing if I was the only one/if there might be a quick fix.

I'm sure they wouldn't mind either way. And other's might be having the same issue but haven't spoken up about it yet. I looked up that specific error and it seems that this is an error that other Chrome browsers have received so I don't think it's site exclusive because there are websites talking about how to fix it.

I googled, "err_spdy_protocol_error chrome fix."

Sorry to hear you are getting some trouble from Chrome. I use Chrome and have had no issues, so it could be something dealing with a 3rd party extension or program. From some sleuthing around; some possible culprits are things like Avast ATV. If you use Avast, you might need to add it to allowed websites. Apparently since 2015 Avast and Chrome don't play well with each other.

Can't seem to replicate this on Chrome currently.
